  1. Please. I think it'd look great. I've got the textures handled, just need the mashup
  2. Hello I would like to see a black retexture for the game. There are many retextures that make things black, but none yet that I've seen that retexture black. I've almost made my game completely black with no detail aside from what little the normal maps try to give thanks to a lot of hard work, desaturation, and levels/brightness lowering. At first seeing my characters in all black looked out of place in the world, like some sort of tactical ops soldier ported straight off a modern upper class suburban teenager's couch, so I downloaded some mods to make almost every texture for the environment black as well. Something was still off though, something still didn't feel right. I realized it was the black itself. It just isn't black enough. This is beyond my level of expertise, so I come to you for help. I need the black to be retextured to be more black. Thank you
  3. Pretty much. Unless it involves sexual fantasies or female anatomy/biology, waiting for someone else to make something is not desirable, or realistic. While there are some great armor mods out there already like you mentioned, if there's something in particular you want, then it's time to rev up the modeling programs and have at it. Almost a year ago I was in your shoes, but in a weeks time I'd figured out at least how to retexture and mix/match/import models (for nonuploaded private use). It can be brutally frustrating and feel like an impossibly steep learning curve at first, but if you stick with it, it can actually become a lot of fun in a weird, masochistic kind of way. Just remember, the great thing about being human is if we practice something enough times, we typically get pretty good at it.
  4. Wanting to either get the Mysterious Elf robes/hood/mask, OR perhaps would be easier is to find a way to get that mesh/skin and put it on Geralt. Anyone up for this? And if not, any ideas how one might do that so I can do it myself? Thanks!
  5. I want to capture the low budget basicness of the Breton armor shown in the OP, as opposed to the more higher class looking elite and flashy stuff such as the Breton Knight armor (which serves it's own purpose splendidly), respectively.
  6. ESO politics aside, some of their lower tier armors were pretty great. I feel that putting a few of the more simple ones in form for Skyrim wouldn't be TOO tedius*, but here's my idea in case anyone is interested. Here's my pitch The Breton medium beginning armor Obviously we could leave out the mudflaps hanging off the waist, and cut the terrible pauldrons. This would leave us with a pretty (imo) good looking adventurer/grunt type set. *Now I know very very little about the more nitty gritty, and the most I've ever done is moved some nodes onto one another and hamfisted some vertices to customize a set or two, but I feel like this can be accomplished using the following, though of course if anyone is interested and has ideas please post them! Vest could be: The leather cuirass without the waist down, and no pauldrons. Sleeves: We could use the vanilla imperial light armor's sleeves Pants: This could be the Thieves Guild Armor pants, as it has the kneepads Boots: ...Thieves Guild Boots? As for the gloves, there aren't many fingerless ones to work with, so that's up in the air, but I think this could be pulled off.
  7. No ideas? In the meantime I have discovered that what seems to have caused this is saving it in .max format for later, then opening it up again causes the gross blocky mesh. I don't know how I missed it before. Still no idea how to fix said mistake, but at least the why has been discovered. Always export!
  8. With hopefully a quick answer! *badum tish* Seriously though, I've run into a snag with some modified armor I put together in 3dsmax. I'll be as brief as possible. http://imgur.com/a/lchce The first three images are of the Dunmer Outfit with the high res DLC and all that. Nice and smooth right? Then the last three are the modified version of this armor, which is a horribly blocky trainwreck. I went wrong somewhere, and I'm not sure where. I'm no modding whiz, and I'm sure I've missed or improperly executed something in 3dsmax or Nifskope, I just don't know what. I beseech you fine ladies and gentlemen for some guidance.
  9. Hello fellas, So I'm trying to get Dual Sheath Redux to work with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44418/? which I plan to send to KettleWitch if I can get something passable going. However I've run into a snag: http://i.imgur.com/K0XC7n6.jpg I've got the left hand sheath in, works like a charm! The right hand however is facing upward and looks wonky. My goal is to get the right hand blade and sheath facing blade down like the left, but I have no idea where to begin since it doesn't appear to be something you can remedy in Nifscope. Any guidance would be most welcome! Thank you.
  10. This still needs to happen.
  11. Nothing? I checked in the CK, and it does show up there. This goes for all armor type mods, bandoliers and such included. They're in the game, I can craft them, I can equip them, but they make the body part in question invisible. Dropping it into the world causes it to simply poof as well I believe. It's not load order, or conflicting mods/load order. I can't figure out the problem though. A friend downloaded one of the armor mods I have had no luck with, and it worked just dandy for him.
  12. Hello fella's, sorry to necro this thread, but I'm having a similar issue. I've checked the load order, I've reinstalled used NMM, I've started with what few mods I have deactivated here and there to ensure nothing was directly conflicting, and I just don't know what the problem is. It shows up as a craftable item at the forge, but there's not icon for it, and equipping such just causes the body to go invisible. Armor in question: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36875/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33879//? Mods that I have: Unofficial Skyrim Patch Frostfall And yes I have all the DLC's/official patches as well
