unable to mount sahrotaar in final quest
scrapperrm replied to melikeblunt's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This happens to me, too. Haven't got a clue :( Me, on dragon? -
Some questions & obsevations: How long have you had the ENB in there? How long have you had Climates of Tamriel & Wet and cold running together? Have you removed any mods lately? Can you fast travel to Windhelm stables from earlier saves? (could be a bad save, especially if using auto save) Do you know what your framerate is? the * key should display framerate with the ENB running. I see 6 active lighting mods. I'd try to cut that down. Try unchecking them one-by-one in the plugins window of NMM before starting (for testing) Try disabling Climates of Tamriel and wet and cold one at a time - same way as above -- you can always check them again if they're not an issue I would go back a few saves and try some random older saves. I add & remove mods a lot and sometimes it fouls up the saves -- You may want to see if you get the same issue from a new game :( You should probably clean up the "dirty edits" listed as well. Cleaning_Guide_-_TES5Edit You can also try compressing all your HD textures - saves a lot of overhead

I just did a double install, and now BOSS is only detecting my vanilla game. Is there a way to force it to detect my modded one? Back up your skyrimprefs.ini file! Start up Skyrim using the SkyrimLauncher.exe (not TESV or SKSE launcher). Choose options, then default. This will write settings to Skyrimprefs.ini in C:\Users\your name here\Documents\My Games\Skyrim. Then exit Skyrim & run Boss again.

I had the same issue recently with similar system specs; i5 @ 2800mhz, Zotac GeForce 520 TI, Win7x64. Framerates were horrible (down under 20fps at some points). I was using every HD texture and an ENB series. Using Skyrim Mods Complex Optimizer - SMCO to compress all my HD stuff did the trick for me. Managed to keep almost all the HD textures and the ENB & am back up to 50-60fps reliably. Load times were reduced significantly.

There's a lot to choose from. Even searching Files>Categories to narrow it down it's an ongoing process ;) If you use BOSS to help you set the load order be sure to submit any unrecognized mods you use so we can get them in there!

Skyrim freezes and lock-ups my computer
scrapperrm replied to SykesAtherton's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Try placing the RCRN files at the 2 bottom slots of the load order. Found @ http://www.rcrncommunity.com/support/faq: "Our .esp files (rcrnshaders.esp and rcrnvolumetric.esp) should be placed at the bottom of the load list! Remember that rcrnvolumetric.esp must be always placed after rcrnshaders.esp so it must be the last of the two files!" Few other things: FNIS - Have you used GenerateFNISforUsers after updating your mods The Sounds of Skyrim collection (SOS) have been causing issues as per the BOSS masterlist Personally, I've had a lot fewer issues since checking/cleaning everything with TES5Edit & patching with Wrye Bash Good luck! -
Thank you! I'd been wondering how to change the inventory view.

I was there, too - is there more? There's some great stuff, but you may need to do some work to get everything to play nice with each other ;) Let me know If you need any help.

Not by a longshot. With a little time you can get many many times the (vanilla) playable hours in mods right here on Nexus. Assuming you're on a PC, of course. New weapons, armors, dungeons, creatures, quests, worldspaces & all sorts of environmentals like weather, lighting, depth of field, etc. --- Infinite possibilities :)

Lots of good tools there, thank you.

What type of image are you trying to upload? (.jpeg, .tiff, etc.)

Have you made a backup & tried using TES5Edit to clean Update.esm, and Dawnguard.esm/HearthFires.esm? Hearthfires would not run for me until I cleaned both uopdate.esm & HearthFires.esm :( TES5Edit instructions can be found here:http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=TES5Edit_Cleaning_Guide_-_TES5Edit Hope this helps. Thank you. I went ahead and followed your advice. I downloaded TES5Edit and "automatically cleaned three different mods including update.esm and Hearthfire. I followed instructions to the letter however now Skyim will not start up. It synchronizes all the files and then just sits there. Not sure what to do next. Tried loading game through Nexus and Steam, game just hangs and does nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks. Sorry for the delay. I'm assuming your load order is set (mostly) by BOSS, correct? Have you tried loading a different save? At that point I'd start thinking it's possible that some saves are compromised. I would start a new game to test that. I had one bad save that wouldn't let me in dragonsreach --- I feel your pain :(

No Player or Quest Markers on Maps Since Last Patch
scrapperrm replied to JayDub's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Awesome...Thanks for posting this!!! Worked like a charm -
What mods do you run, in what order? Have you recently installed any new MODs & which ones? Do you use BOSS to check MODs for load order & dirty edits?

Good information, thank you. This would also allow me to troubleshoot scripts as I'm trying to learn scripting.

Current issues with site performance and downloads
scrapperrm replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
You do not need to be a premium member to download the mod manager probably busy, try again -
I recently decided to become a premium member despite the issues Don't know if it's the premium-only servers, the new update checking interval or both, but NMM seems to be working much better and the site doesn't keep logging me out - keep up the great work!

The site is no longer logging me off :) The new version of NMM is working better than the previous for me, thank you! -
I'm new to creating mods. Does anyone either know howto get an NPC to heal others, or a good scripting resource/tutorial for this sort of thing? I thought I could just use the AI to set it up as per conditions, but it does not seem to work. (or at least does not work reliably) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
