  1. ZevsMira banned. Reason for the ban advocating use of two mods which results in nude children "Oh, what a pleasure) Now i can see the PURE beauty! Actually, why don't we tell others about this unique feature? I'll use reddit" From our TaP, "If your comment contains text that is likely to personally offend other users of the site either in the language you use or the message of your text then do not post." and This file sharing rule, which also applies to posts on mods, "Any files that contain sexual images or reference of sexual acts with minors (people under the age of 18 or people who look under the age of 18) and animals, incite racial or religious hatred or are generally designed to spark a negative reaction in certain demographics beyond what is accepted within the UK/US media will be removed and accounts banned." 2. Try disabling (not uninstalling, just unchecking) your mods and start a new game. If that goes well, then the problem is in one of the mods you're using. Re-enable the mods one at a time until you find the culprit. This kind of troubleshooting is a royal pain, but it's the best way to go. If the new playthrough does not go well, then you'll have to start over with a new installation. When you uninstall, be sure that you restart your computer and go back to manually delete any remaining files that might be hanging around. This way, you can be sure that you're starting with a clean install. Add back your mods one at a time, again starting off with a new playthrough. I hope you get things sorted out. :)
  3. Steam updates don't mess with your game files. Verification was the right place to start. Start the game from the vanilla launcher (the one you used when you first installed the game). That will rebuild the .ini files. If you've made edits to those files, put a copy of them somewhere safe, then move them back after the new ones have been created. I would also strongly suggest starting a new game, as much of a pain as that will be. If a new game starts and runs fine, then the problem is going to be somewhere in the mods you're using. Some mods -- like SKSE or Dual Sheath Redux -- require specific game versions to work, so check to see if you need to update any of your mods. I hope you get things working again. :)

  5. It sounds as if you're using a mod which creates a custom body or body textures just for your player character. You might take a look at your load order with that idea in mind. I wish I could be more specific, but I'm not familiar enough with FNV mods to make specific suggestions.
  6. Such mods have been attempted, and they often get removed for copyright violations. :) However, if you wanted to do such a thing for yourself, the basic how-to is to make a backup of your current, vanilla folder. Then, copy the music you want into that folder and rename the pieces appropriately.
  7. No, you are not allowed to solicit services in exchange for payment. That would mean that someone else is making money off Bethesda's intellectual property, which is a big no-no. Thanks for asking before you posted. :) From our TaP, "Do not solicit services from other Nexus members in exchange for monetary compensation or promise of such compensation in connection with content that falls within the scope of a game publisher's EULA. For example, this means that you may not recruit modders with the promise of monetary compensation to create a custom .ESP file for you or alter game content that is subject to Bethesda's EULA governing the use of their assets and the Creation Kit."

  10. There are a couple of fixes in this thread... https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1195276-sevenzipsharp-bug-in-the-nexus-mod-manager/?hl=%20sevenzipsharp Good luck! :)
  11. Jewpwnicus banned. Reason for the ban inappropriate user name From our TaP, "User name and password You have the ability, as you register, to choose a username. You should keep the name appropriate. If it contains content that we wouldn't allow users to post (e.g. swearing, drug references, inappropriate references, etc.) then its likely your account will be closed and in cases where the staff find the username particularly offensive the account will be banned." 12. It sounds like you have a conflict between the body mod you're using and the texture you've installed. If you're using CBBE or UNP, then make sure that the texture you install is specifically for that mod. Otherwise, you will have issues similar to the ones you've mentioned. If the texture is good, check anything else you may have installed which would affect the body, such as a mod which adjusts weight and height by race. I once spent three days running down a texture problem caused by that very thing. I was almost in tears with frustration. :pinch: Fortunately, I'm stubborn. Good luck.
  13. The new mods would seem to be likely culprits. When you start having problems, then uninstalling the last thing or two you added should sort stuff out. Don't forget to go back to an earlier save, since Skyrim is bad for storing all kinds of information in your game saves. :)
  14. NMM doesn't change game settings, so it's not the problem. Double check the sound options in the game menu to make sure the dialogue volume hasn't been turned off. I hope you get things working again.

  17. zumma banned. Reason for the ban piracy of Skyrim Special Edition "And Steam will never be installed on my computer not in a million years...." All legal versions of SSE require a Steam account. From our TaP, "We have a strict anti-piracy policy and we take a proactive and preemptive stance on anyone who gives us reason to believe is using a pirated version of any game or software. We only support official game versions and users should not provide help to others requesting help with unofficial game versions (e.g. cracked games). If your on-site activities provide us with sufficient evidence that you are a software pirate then you will be instantly banned." 20. Please note that some mods should not be cleaned, even if LOOT tells you otherwise. For example, mods which add new spawn points may throw a "dirty edit" warning in LOOT, but they should be left alone. Also, once you have installed USLEP, you need to uninstall the individual patches. Further, I never clean my masters. Some people swear by the practice, but it caused problems for me. So, you might try verifying your game cache through Steam so that the original game masters are restored, then start a new game and see if that helps. If it doesn't seem to make a difference, it only takes a few minutes to clean the masters again. One more thing...as long as the name you changed is the name of the downloaded file (the archive), it's okay. Changing the name of the actual .esp or .esm can cause issues. Don't ask me how I know these things. :pinch:
  21. Qwerty's right...install order generally doesn't matter unless the files over-write each other. Some things, for example if you're using a mod which changes animations, may need to be installed in a specific order so that the over-writes work properly. So, you may need to install your skeleton mod first, then FNIS, then the animation mod, then run FNIS for Users to generate the animations files. Remember, too, that you can always say no to an over-write. I do this sometimes if I'm reinstalling a body mod and don't want its textures over-writing my modded ones. However, both of these cases are very specific instances and the kind of things that are usually covered in a mod's installation directions.

  23. You have not said how you know that the mods aren't showing up in the game. Are you not seeing the changes? Are you not seeing the mods listed in the game launcher menu? Also, did you just download the mods to NMM, or did you also remember to install them by double-clicking? If everything is checking out with LOOT and Wrye Bash and FO4Edit, then it seems that things should be installed. Are you starting the game through NMM? If you don't, then the game won't know where to look for the mod information. It's also worth remembering that mods which only change meshes or textures might not have an .esm or .esp file, so they won't show up on a plugin list. Modding is really a matter of trial and error -- more art than science. I do wish you luck on the journey.

  25. "Q: How do I uninstall this? A: You delete every file you installed and use the cleardevelop console command in-game to reset your stats, equipment and skill tree to the vanilla state." The modder did indeed hide his own mod, so you weren't blocked. :)
