  1. I've recently started a new game with a decent amount of mods, none of which conflict (at least not to my knowledge), and I've been getting these random CTDs when I die from a buggy death. By that I mean that both times I've had crashes were from bug-cased deaths. The first one was from a bunch of kettles randomly flying everywhere after trading with Lucan and hitting me to death and the second one was from the bandit in Bleak Falls who activates the dart trap. I decided to raise my archery instead of letting easy XP go to waste, he turned around, hit me with the strength of a giant and sent me crashing on a wall a few meters behind me. Bellow you'll find my: Load order: Here are my Papyrus Logs (I've had to put the files on Dropbox because they were to big to copy+paste and I didn't know what I should leave out of the copy+paste so I put the whole files up) The first crash The second crash: Notes: I've used LOOT to sort the load order, built a Bashed File with Wrye Bash for SIC and SkyRe to be compatible and I've cleaned what needed cleaning with TES5Edit (I didn't clean Better Vampires, as instructed by the LOOT log). If anyone could help me with these crashes I'd be very happy.
  2. Okay, so after experiencing some trouble with CTDs, I've decided to setup my own stable Skyrim mod combination. I've added a decent amount and I'm now looking towards the community for any opinions on which mods I could remove/add to enhance the experience, while keeping everything stable and avoiding CTDs. Because let's face it, CTDs are pretty much one of the more annoying aspects of modding Skyrim. Goal: The goal of this list is to provide a combination of mods that are: stable, compatible (if not, they at least need a stable patch to make them compatible), immersive (which means no anime/over-the-top mods), lore-friendly, gameplay-changing, challenging, and fun to play with. A list of mods that will always be on and that will cover any type of playstyle. You want to play a mage who'll turn into a werewolf? we've got mods for that! You want to play an argonian who becomes a vampire? no need to uninstall/install anything, we've got the mods for that already! In other words, a list of mods, that once installed will make it so we don't need to uninstall/install new mods. A list that covers everything, from vampires and werewolves to combat and followers. So, what am I looking for in terms of mods? - I'm looking for mods that will increase immersion while not making it to harsh on the player; - they have to be lore-friendly or at least to some degree; - they have to be stable, if people are reporting game-breaking bugs it's probably not stable; - they need to give Skyrim a fresh feel, give us a bunch of possibilities and maximize replay value; - keep the focus of the game clear, no mods that remove the main quest-lines/factions; - But more importantly: They NEED TO BE COMPATIBLE between each other OR HAVE A COMPATIBILITY PATCH! if they don't get along, we'll be getting CTDs left and right, and we don't want that! What I'd prefer to keep out of the list: - Nudity mods. It's alright if you like them, but I'd prefer to keep these out of my game and they're not for everyone; - Anime/Manga/Over-the-top mods. I get that you like Bleach, or FMA, or Japanese schoolgirls, but I'd prefer to keep these kind of mods away from my list, they're just not lore-friendly and kind of distracting; - Revealing armors. By that I mean the classic MMORPG armors that only cover tits and are totally unrealistic in ways of actually being protective armors. What I'd like you guys, the community, to help me with: I would like you guys to help me trim the mod list to make it as lightweight as possible while keeping the same feel. This list is a bit old, about 2-3 months (Stopped playing for a while because of CTDs, I actually removed quite a bit from this list already) so I might be unfamiliar with some changes. If some mods actually do the same thing as another, already installed, mod please let me know. If you know of a mod that adds the same thing, but that's either more stable or uses less/no scripts please inform me. Extra notes: - When it comes to mods that add hair/make-up, please keep in mind they need to be lore-friendly. Apachii hair, for example, is a good looking mod, but half it's hair styles aren't lore-friendly. - This list is based around a few mods. T3nd0's Skyrim Redone is probably the most important one here. I won't use another total overhaul mod (ACE is an example here) as SkyRe gives me everything that I want, from skill-tree being more useful, to game mechanics being properly changed. The list (so far): Leave your suggestions and information below.
  3. Edit: Erased everything because of a double post. If a mod could delete this post, or if you know how to delete posts, please let me know. meanwhile, here's the link to the actual post: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1921239-need-help-modifying-my-mod-list/
  4. hmm, it worked, strange... I'm saying that because there was nothing affecting races beneath the races module in my load order... Oh well, at least it works now! Thanks for the help Prod :)
  5. Ok, so my SkyRe doesn't seem to use the race abilities that T3nd0 made. It just stays Vanilla even though I have the Race module activated and after any race changing mods. I would like to know if there is a fix for this. I'm using the final SkyRe version BEFORE dragonborn Bellow is a list of the other mods I'm using that change/affect character creation: -Character Creation Overhaul (Diverse Races and Genders (<- Shouldn't affect racial abilities), Dynamic Skill progression, Oblivion Carry Weights and Permanent Birthsigns options activated) -Live Another Life - Alternate Start -Race Menu and -Starting Spells Choice If anyone knows what might be causing this issue I would love to know what you think. Thanks in Advance.
  6. I've found the problem. Thanks to Prod80 for the help  Apparently my Realistic Needs and Diseases Patch included a Dragonborn patch. ReProccer told me there was a missing masters for the RND_PatchDragonborn.esm so, using Wrye Bash, I deactivated it and it did the trick for the main menu. Got to go to work now, so I'll see if there's anymore problems with the in-game stuff or if it's all fixed later. Again thanks for the help.
  7. Ok, so ReProccer told me Pure Waters had a master attached to Dragonborn.esm. I have to go, so I'll look into it tomorrow.
  8. ok, so I never used ReProccer before and I had simply used the NMM installer and didn't do anything with it. I didn't even run the .jar or anything. That probably didn't help...
  9. alright, I'll let you know if I find the problem. Thanks.
  10. I'm actually using the last update before Dragonborn so it shouldn't cause any problems (and didn't before)
  11. Ok, so I'm not a noob when it comes to modding. I've been modding my game for about a year and a half now, but now, I've run into a CTD that just leaves me confused. So I've installed a few mods and I've checked with BOSS to see if there was any problems/dirty edits. There where little to no dirty edits but I've cleaned them up, I start my game and... crash. As soon as the game passes the Bethesda Softworks emblem, the game crashes to desktop... Now, I've reinstalled from a totaly deleted game and I get the same problem. what could the problem be? Mods used: Achieve That! Alternate start Bandolier - Bags and Pouches better dialogue controls categorized favorites Character creation overhaul Cloaks of Skyrim (with dawnguard patch) convenient horses Deadly Dragons dynavision Immersive armors Immersive weapons Immersive HUD Locational Damage Lockpicking Overhaul Move it Dammit My home is your Home No more blocky faces Predator Vision Pure Waters (and dawnguard patch) RaceMenu Realistic Needs and Diseases ReProccer SkyRealism - Time and travel SkyUI T3ndo's Skyrim Redone Think to yourself messages The Dance of Death UFO (Dawnguard, Heartfire and DrawAll patches) Unofficial Patches (Skyrim, heartfire and Dawnguard) Warburgs Paper Map Wet and Cold Winter is Coming cloaks If you know any incompabilities please let me know. If you need my load order, feel free to ask. I've been stuck with this problem for a while now. Thanks in advance. Edit: I forgot to mention, the only DLC I don't have/use is DragonBorn.
  12. Instead of having the civilians in Markarth go in their homes and come out after the attack, they should hide somewhere. Like a refugee camp or something hidden within the city or something. Then we could have forsworn villagers in Markarth and Markarth villagers in hiding.
  13. Just did my RPG one. Wonder what my sig looks like...
