It's really too bad, I reinstalled Skyrim about two days ago, and I usually run A LOT of mods along with programs like DynDOLOD, and after about the 40th secondary page with a 5 second wait I just gave up. It is FAR too tedious to go through and download mods in bulk now, and in my opinion(as somebody who works and has very little free time) it has completely killed my enthusiasm to mod the game. Whereas before I might have considered premium to support the site, I just really don't see any reason to now, as these changes have just turned me off modding the game in general. There isn't any reason. I guess you could argue that back in the day with Morrowind and Oblivion you had to jump through the same hoops before the nexus was a thing, but that wouldn't be true because with Morrowind the modding scene wasn't too huge outside of a few BIG mods, and Oblivion was, and still is notoriously unstable for modding, especially on modern hardware. You only ever downloaded a few mods for those games to add on the base gameplay, and even then you'd get crashes like crazy(deadly reflex is a great example of this). Oh well.

All it essentially means is that downloading mods in bulk for a large mod list for something like Skyrim is going to take a hell of a lot longer. Put your MO folders on a hard-drive and never use the site again for anything other than updates to mods, it makes reinstalling and modding games like Skyrim a lot less of a hassle.

When I started my playthrough, I ran by this place, discovered it, and left it for later. Now whenever I get near there, I crash. I have added no mods, nor have I removed any. The only reason this is a problem, is because I need to get near that area so I can get into the Broker's Shack for the Undeath quests. This also makes the Mehrune's Razor quest impossible without console commands. I went through the process of disabling each mod I know take place there individually, and starting the game back up. First I disabled Undeath. I crashed. I then disabled INPCs, and I still crashed. I know of no other mods that take place in the area, so I know not what to disable. Can you guys help? I have disabled all background tasks that are unessential to my computer. I have, nor have I had any loading or memory issues on this character. The rare times I crash are usually from too many entities in the game at once. NPCs, the like. I use the Skyrim Memory Patch. All my textures are 1k-2k. My game runs at 60FPS, and runs the game on Ultra just fine. I use the latest version of SKSE, and I am using Mod Organizer. MO has all the good stuff attached to it. I always thought it would be very cool to have a small hideaway in the Dragontail Mountains worldspace that Undeath provides. I'm just wondering if anybody else may have thought the same thing? I just think it would be a neat little concept to explore. Have your own very nice little home in the dragontail mountains, occasional draugr attacks from the barrow, there. Free to do necromantic rituals for the most part, without many people coming after you. Maybe a system where a lone vigilant, or a small group of people with torches, and pitchforks come out at your front door, and egg your house? lol. It would have to have all the stuff the other Undeath homes provides, of course, like the altars, and such. Sorting areas for ingredients, etc. Whoever would choose to live in one of the Undeath oriented houses is either playing a Necromancer, or a vampire mage of some kind. Or maybe they just think the houses are cool. I'm tempted to go, and learn some creation kit stuff myself to go, and try it, but I am overly critical of my own work, and would probably get stuck for a couple years judging whether I did the lighting in a certain room right or something of that nature. Anybody else have any cool ideas?

So, i got dawnguard yesterday and i started playing and everything was going fine until i saw THE BUTCHERY OF MY CROSSBOW ANIMATIONS. Someone else who had my bug posted a video on youtube. I haven't seen any other bugs take place so far. Note: I even uninstalled and reinstalled my skyrim before this happened, i also tried deleting/turning off all my mods. Nothing changed. ------------------------ Edit: so i played a bit more and found these bugs in my game: 1. Eyes don't glow 2. Vampire lord is bugged, can't use any powers and there's no ground fighting animations. 3. Gargoyles are bugged and can only move but cannot attack or use any movement animation. 4. It takes 10 years to transform into a vampire lord.

So, i'll be strolling out of Riverwood and suddenly i'll CTD when i get to a certain spot outside the town (Just down the road leaving or near the river.) This also happens when i fast travel to the guardian stones, but apart from there it has NEVER been recorded happening anywhere else on my game. ---------------------------------------------------- Skyrim version 1.6.89.0 Qosmio gaming laptop.
