I now suspect cloudflare or my ISP. After some investigation with some help, seems like vortex was trying to reach a blocked cloudflare IP. Did test several times to change DNS and disabling firewall. Nothing has worked so far. Will resort to praying and waiting.

Additionally, log in with token does not work:

Vortex pushed an update and since then i've been getting this ECONNRESET error with account authentication. Additionally i cannot download any file from nexus through vortex at all. Have added vortex to my firewall exception where previously i did not have to. This did not resolve the issue. Vortex did login and download something once or twice since roughly 12 hours ago from posting. NMM is unable to connect to the nexus servers. Still functions offline mode.

ok, this random crash thing happens EVERY TIME STEAM FORCES OUT A PATCH AND SKSE UPDATES might be leftover skse scripts.... needs a script cleaner, bad

I'm having the same issue i think, updated skse but it crashes right after the Bethesda logo. Even when I start the game without skse using the skyrim.exe launcher. I do have uncapper installed but that is updated too. :wallbash:

Ok, running nvidia gtx560 etc. etc. I'm sure its not a hardware problem as the game doesn't lag at all for me even on ultra but it crashes to desktop without a sound/warning. Read thru abit of the thread and realized most you guys have some freezing or audio looping occurring along with the crash but mine is a straight CTD. Not even one error message. I'm thinking its steam and shall be playing without using steam soon but its late for me on this side of earth so wondering if anyone else has a similiar problem test it too? so as to get a confirmation.

you CAN play without using steam, you just need it to unlock the encryption. you can still find the skyrim.exe in the steamapps/common folder and run it offline.
