  1. You guys are amazing and I can't thank you all enough to make Witcher 3 a far more superior experience. I'm not big on making requests but I'd like to request a small favor. In your descriptions, could you note if it's safe to uninstall mid-playthrough? I don't know anything about modding but from what I've found here and on Reddit is that texture mods are safe to uninstall. It's the other mods I'm curious about. Right now, I'm using Friendly Hud. In the description, wghost81 writes says "Note: This mod doesn't change your save files, so installing or uninstalling it in the middle of playthrough is safe." Another mod I'm using is called Reduced Falling damage updated by DungeonNoob. It's an example of a mod where I'm not sure if it could corrupt my game saves if I uninstall mid-playthrough. So it would be great to know how the mod affects the game/game save, does it change anything that can't be reversed if removed? I imagine it's generally safe to remove many of these mods besides the ones that overhaul the game, someone on Reddit mentioned the ghost mode. I just don't know what would be considered an "overhaul", new combat animations? Autoloot? The Gwent Card dealer? I'm eyeing so many of these mods and I'm not sure which are safe for removal. Thank you for hearing me out
  2. Hi, I'm using Friendly Hud, Immersive Camera, STLM, and HD Re-worked. Do these mods affect game saves possibly corrupting them in future? Do they still with your saves permanently? Thank you
  3. NMM didn't create a plugins.txt for me? I just bought this game.
  4. I suppose the best way to describe it is to post an image: http://i.imgur.com/qZVuRgZ.jpg Kind of looks like a window screen effect. I use NVIDIA GeForce Experience to optimize my graphics. I don't think it's a hardware issue. I run everything on Ultra with hairworks turned off and have no mods. Any ideas? Because otherwise the game runs beautifully. Thanks
  5. Hello. I would love it if someone made a large font size mod. I have to squint when I'm playing on my TV from a distance. There are 2 or 3 mods out there but one uses the Morpheus font, which is worse, and the other doesn't look right in the game. It should be the font used in the game but larger. Hopefully this is a possibility! Thank you
  6. I'm assuming that's for females but awesome! I will take a look! TY Edit: Looks awesome but those are only eye colors. I think what we're looking for are meshes? Not sure if it's even possible.
  7. I'm kind of curious if you can change things around with ECE. I've never used it before. Racemenu gives you a lot of options but not enough. :P
  8. I'm looking for one for males. I don't like the vanilla male eyes or noses. Thanks!
  9. So this is probably my 20th time trying to start a new game with PerMa and there's always something! Today it's weapon models showing up as what they're not in menu). Have a look: http://i.imgur.com/mIL3fMQ.jpg Actually, when I first load the menu, and the bow is selected, there's no preview of anything. If I go and select the sword, still wrong. I tried dropping it and picking it back up again but nothing. Selecting it in console gave me a reference ID of "FF000895". I googled that and the site that shall not be named appeared but I found nothing about the ID and I've never downloaded a mod from there. (I promise I don't have SexLab, the ID must have appeared in someone's code output.) Can anyone help me out? Thanks. Edit: Load order. Forgot.
  10. I feel like I've seen it before but if not, I would love someone to make this! :)
  11. My money and money on my mind.
  12. Do you have your weapon sheathed? Once that happens, the torch goes back into the inventory.
  13. I think it's become obvious that my game doesn't like heavily scripted mods. My main problem is CTD'ing when dying and from what I've read on here, it's because I have too many scripts. Here's my load order now: Intel Core i5 3570k CPU @ 3.40 GHz8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 RAMWestern Digital Caviar Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (Skyrim installation, 163 GB left)EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB I've had my eye on this one especially since it works with PerMa. :) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57872/
  14. I'm sure there's a way to do it with a mod.
  15. The latter of course! I don't run my computer through a TV though. :P I just have HDMI hookup from my GPU. It's much nicer to play Skyrim from bed. I was never a keyboard person either.
  16. Thank you but I play with a 360 controller on my TV. :)
  17. You guys have been incredibly helpful so far! Thank you! I will definitely give defragging a go. KineBud, I've actually done some reading in the ETAC threads. There are quite a few mods that need to go above it, I fixed mine up and it looks a bit like this now. Immersive Patrols II.esp3DNPC.espHelgen Reborn.esp^ need to be above ETaC ETaC - Complete.espETaC - Dragon Bridge South.espImmersive Whiterun.espImmersive Solstheim.espImmersive Orc Strongholds.espSMIM-DragonbornTernFix.espSMIM-FurnitureChestSnowFix.espSMIM-ShackRoofFixes.espSMIM-ShackRoofFixesDragonborn.espSMIM-DungeonsCliffsIceSkirts.espSMIM-FarmhouseFlickeringFix.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espELFX - Exteriors.espELFX - Dragonborn.espELFX - Dawnguard.espETaC - Better Dynamic Snow Patch.espETaC - Complete BFT Patch.espETaC - Complete ELFX Patch.espETaC - Whiterun Ext CRF Patch.espETaC - Whiterun Ext ELFX Patch.espRealisticWaterTwo.espRealisticWaterTwo - Legendary.esp Better Dynamic Snow.esp But this is only part of organizing it my whole list. I'm getting somewhere. Thank you for posting your info as well! Your load order seems to be very clean. I also noticed that you have vsync on via ENBoost. Do you have it turned off in Nvidia settings? I have to do the opposite or else I get screen tearing and our cards are fairly similar. Weird!
  18. http://i.imgur.com/lLKhvM1l.jpg So I've been struggling with starting a new game with PerMa installed. Everytime I start a new game, I always get a CTD and it's very frustrated. So I'm looking for the help of the mod experts who know about where things need to be in load orders and other things like all of the .ini files. I always use LOOT, but with certain mods and their compatibility patches, you need to change things around and that's where I'm always stumped. I found a guide by the wonderful Edeldios that lists the correct structure of load orders. (Thank you!) His guide: Using his guide as a base, I gave my plugins different colors. From the looks of it, LOOT scattered all of them. If the colors bother you, I listed my load order without colors. Please help me with this if you can. I used a very similar load order last and ended up with a CTD. That was my 5th time trying to start a new game with PerMa. I've checked compatibility on 99% of my mods and they all seem to be fine. There are some that are less known. I've listed the Nexus links in my load order. PLUGIN KEY COLORS: Load Order w/ colors: Load Order w/o colors: Other Information: My current setup: Intel Core i5 3570k CPU @ 3.40 GHz 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB 256-bit Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini enblocal.ini Last MemoryBlocksLog.log Last bunch of lines from Papyrus.0.log before CTD If you decide to help me, thank you VERY much! I don't expect one person to solve everything so even little tips/suggestions would be great.
