Hey there. I realize this is kind of a cheat, but I keep all my books and I don't like the fact that there's a hand next to them. In my Skyrim, all books should be free to "borrow". ;) Would anyone be able to do this? Thank you! :)

Every once in a while, I'll get a "Windows explorer is not responding" error. I don't know what it's from but I usually get them when I'm not playing Skyrim. Last night I started another new game with PerMa (5th time), I thought I had everything fixed. And boom, CTD as I start "Live Another Life." But again, it was different this time because Windows Explorer was crashing. So can that in itself warrant a CTD? Here's my load order sorted with LOOT: http://pastebin.com/GRwJziuV

I think it would be really helpful to me, and possibly to others to see how other users are ordering their load orders. If you're using modorganizer, make sure you get your LO from plugins.txt and not loadorder.txt. I don't have a stable game at the moment so I'm not going to paste mine.

Hello, I'm trying to edit NPCs with Creation Kit. It's easy enough if you only use one additional esp file and don't mark it as active. But say I'm trying to change Maven Black-Briar, I want to use SGHairs which comes with an ESM and an ESP, I want to use Beautiful Eyes which is just an esm, and I want to use a custom armor mod which would probably just be an esp. So everything that has to be checked is Skyrim.esm, SGHairPackBase.esm, SGHairBaseAIO.esp (I think you'd need to use them together, I'm not sure), BeautyEyes.esp and whatever Armor.esp. How do I do this? I know you can change SkyrimEditor.ini to allow you to select more master files. I've actually tried doing it before. At first, Maven showed up naked with Vanilla hair (when I had chosen SGhair), I'm not sure if the eyes were correct but I used console command to disable and re-enable her. She had the armor I gave her so it worked partially. Is there something I have to do in WryeBash? And I wouldn't be selecting anything as an active file, correct? Because I want the mod to be new and not mixed with the original mods. Help me out if you can! :) Thanks

Hey all, I'd like to see a mod that alerts you when you've cleared a cave. I know it seems kind of lazy because you can just check on the map but it would be cool to get on-screen announcement and maybe a sound when one is cleared. I play on legendary and it would make me accomplished if I get an alert. :)

Thank you! I wonder if that script cleaner actually works that well. I've read that once modded scripts are in the game, they are there forever and will eventually lead to a botched save if you don't keep them. :(

It looks horrible on my computer monitor but I play from my TV anyway and I don't really notice a big difference. The TV isn't that great to begin with but that's how I usually play. I haven't monitored my FPS. There are still stutters but I feel that has to do with heavy scripting which was a bad idea. Enhanced Blood Textures ruined my gaming experience when a Master Vampire was attacking Winterhold. I didn't realize all these script heavy mods would cause stutter or lower my fps and it's unfortunate that I can't uninstall them. Anyway, does 1280x720 give more FPS? I feel it does it some areas but it could be placebo. I could also try testing but my FPS changes depending where I am to begin with. So this is just a general question. Thank you!! :) :)

Do you think it could be Realistic Skyrim Overhaul (the one you have to get from a torrent file) or SMIM? I feel the game would look awful without nice textures. I really don't want to lose SMIM but I could give up SRO. The thing is, my memory log looks fine: I don't want to touch that one. I struggled so much with that today and it resulted in terrible stuttering. Finally- I got the ini file from the author of the ENB who has nearly the same specs as I do but uses AMD. Here are my prefs too... skyrim.ini skyrimprefs.ini The game isn't that smooth because of ENB + texture packs but I don't see why it would crash if the SKSE memory log didn't reach 512.

Hey guys. This is really frustrating. I have ENBoost and the SKSE memory patch installed. I feel like things should be stable on that end but I'm still getting CTDs. This time it was while I was riding a horse up to Helgen from Riverwood. I don't get it. I use Mod Installer and I'm not the greatest with load orders but I feel like LOOT does that for me for the most part. Here's my load order: (Anything marked in black is disabled.) Hi everyone, I'm having a few problems in game. First of all, my SkyUI favorites button isn't working. The other problem I've noticed is that I can't unequip a torch. My load order probably sucks. I use Loot for it but it's probably still a mess. I followed the bashed patch tutorial but I don't know what's in it and what I can uncheck on the plugins list. I followed the TES5Edit Merged patch tutorial. Don't know what's in that either, don't know how to check. I also have a STEP patch on here because I was using a lot of the STEP mods but not all. On the STEP forums, I was told to create separate patch merges for AoS, Compendium and Climates of Tamriel. Have no idea how to do that either. There's a lot of tutorials on the STEP wiki page and I read them thoroughly but I still don't understand so maybe someone can simplify things for me AND help me fix this mess of a load order. I want to start locking things in place on the load order so I don't have to worry about them anymore. So here is my load order, ready?
