I dreamt about a mudcrab once...awful creatures.

A reincarnation is an embodiment in a new form, meaning it can be any gender or race because the spirit is the same. The body changes but the spirit will always remain the same. This makes it possible! I wonder how thing would come up if the dragonborn was to reincarnate in a mud crab. Now that would be an interesting twist to the plot.

There are so many reasons why you might end up in prison, maybe you are not even guilty of anything, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time or even more than that, you were set up by somebody. I believe starting at a prison without much of an explanation of why you are there is actually pretty good for roleplaying, you can invent your own background around that event.

Pretty cool I must say, I'm really becoming fond of the whole perk system, it sounds nice. A real shame spear are confirmed to be out, let's just hope they can be added later, either with some official expansion or maybe even modded into the the game by the community. You won't be a good example of a hero if are going to be around snorting random white powder out of the floor.

Is there going to be a new emphasis on stealing and item value?
zombie00 replied to Atlasa's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This. IMO a common thieve shouldn't be rich, just get enough to get by ok let's say. The only way thieves could really become rich should be by either breaking into some castles vault or maybe stealing a precious and unique item from some sort of cult (like say the Mythic Dawn). -
Well, I rather have weremudcrabs, that would be really awesome.
-
A male Dunmer battle mage as usual. I'll probably go with destruction and one-handed sword, if possible medium armour.
-
s*** so epic. Now I really can't wait.

It would be cool if we get the chance to be a victim of the DB. Getting attacked in the middle of the night while strolling down some city hallway or even while we sleep.

IMO we should be able to choose one perk every X amount of levels (every 4 or 5 levels) so there are fewer fixed perks and you get most of them out of quest and in-game achievements, similar to new vegas. It feels more natural than just picking perks after levelling up and, since there wouldn't be so many perks, it shouldn't f*** up balance. -
The Main Enemy: Is finding it as simple as it seems

A infernal city add-on would be so awesome... -
There must be something wrong with your character. you're also forgetting that upon entering red dead mode you cant be killed. red dead mode saved my ass everytime i faced a mountain lion because. red dead mode is the same as vats but it doesnt stop the game, just slows it down without the slo-mo kill shots. so i still stick with what i said before. make combat better and make it all real-time off topic but Red dead revolver redemption is game of the year and the best western game ever made. also have one the best story's ever put in a video game with one of the deepest and most interesting main character ever. a masterpiece. Yeah, I don't want immunity/invincibility at all, just the slow down effect and being able to target at multiple parts of the enemy's body and then unleashing my attacks. It would be a nice compliment for the located damage system that I'm almost sure will come with vanilla version. And yes, one of the best games I've ever played, it has a nice rpg felling to it and an awesome story.

Have anyone played Red dead revolver redemption? I would like a system similar to that one, where you can slow down time, mark several targets, over the same thing/person or over different ones, and then let your character execute the attacks. And in my opinion how much time you have to aim and how many marks you can tag should depend on your stats and skills. EDIT: Vats isn't made to shoot targets at great distance, it's just for those situations when you find yourself over-run with enemies all out of sudden and at close distance, that's why pistols and smgs have such a low AP consumption while must rifles won't make more than one or two shoots out of all your action points.

Well, you didn't had a daedric invasion back in Morrowind, did you? That easily explains the huge amount of daedric items in tamriel. EDIT: Still, I don't support such an agressive enviroment-leveling system, a nice solution to this would be to set, either after a set number of days or level of the PC, invasions of new fiends, like a new band of really though marauders, dangerous creatures inmigrating from distant lands and things of the like. Of course people should start talking about this events too, it would add a lot to the inmersion.

High elves are supposed to be yellow, I think you are playing the wrong game pal. Still, I support the idea of a better character creator, in oblivion it was a pain in the as* to get your character's face right (specially with some races), I spent hours moving the slides and pressing that goddamn random button. Still, you could manage to get diversity out of it and decent looking characters. Fallout made it easier to make a good looking face, but way harder to make original looking faces, at least in my case I found myself coming up with pretty much the same look every time. If I were to point out a good example of a face creator that would be some of latest pro evolution soccer games (or winning eleven), by far the best system I've ever seen in any game. -
Did he said Dragon ball? There are seven of them, gotta catch em' all.

No gamebryo in TESV = Bad for modding

Plus, if it's a bit harder to use we might get ride off at least a portion of those ultrabouncyboobs mods and tons of clothes that could never fit oblivion environment. -
I'm sure there is going to be plenty of snow, but, like someone already said, you can rest assured that white won't be the only colour in your background. Most snowy and mountainous regions are followed by depressed valleys with plenty of green vegetation, pines and flora of the like. Here a couple of examples: http://d.imagehost.org/t/0081/norway.jpg http://b.imagehost.org/t/0180/Norway_1.jpg http://b.imagehost.org/t/0851/p316096-BARILOCHE_IS_ONLY_6_HOURS_AWAY_BY_BUS.jpg http://b.imagehost.org/t/0510/bariloche11.jpg http://d.imagehost.org/t/0246/bariloche.jpg The first two pictures are from Norway, the others were taken from Bariloche (a city in southern part of Argentina). Hopefully bethesda will give us a good lake, that would surely add a lot to the whole image of the landscape. Of course, don't expect to see any swaps or tropical beaches. Though we'll probably get to see one kind of coastal side, one quite similar to the ones seen along the Barrent sea: http://b.imagehost.org/0201/images_5.jpg

Joke aside, If you look at New vegas you can see many of the improvements made to FO3 by the community made mods. Maybe they change their methods since oblivion.
-
Well, the actual size of cyrodiil in Oblivion has very little to do with the size of Skyrim in TES:V. What I mean with this is that they don't necessarily have to stick to the "scale" of the world map. My guess is that this map will be bigger than TES:IV map.
-
I suspect we might get to see the island of Solstheim http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Solstheim Here, watch this video, it's a compilation of in-game rumours taken from TES4: More precisely at 0:46, they say the nords are trying to take over the island and take it away from the imperial control, that would coincides with the internal commotion mentioned in the new trailer. My guess is that we'll see the whole of Skyrim, plus Solstheim island and maybe some other island as a DLC (hopefully summerset isle :D).

Okay, I got into TES with Oblivion, so I don't know. What other races are there? Well, the Falmer (AKA Snow elves) might appear, they were from around there, but I don't think you will be able to play as one though. Don't expect them to look like the version some people mod into oblivion, they weren't supposed to be pretty. And I believe there a slight chance for some Dwemer to show up somewhere, at least in some sort of side-quest. Still, it more than unlikely. I don't know, I've always got the feeling that they are somewhere in the deep into some mountain cave, in some sort of self indulge cryogenics sleep or something. This is more of a strong desire rather than a real possibility :D.
-
That's a good one indeed. But now I'm leaning toward the possibility of a completely new enemy to the game series, one that the player has never had the chance to see, but that already exist in the lore. I'll go back later after doing some in-depth research with more theories :D. This is intrigue is getting rather exiting.

And collisionless rain that pours through the ceiling as if there was nothing there xD

"You should have acted, they are already here. The elder scrolls told of their return. Their defeat, was mearly a delay. By the time after oblivion opened and the sons of skyrim will spill their own blood, but no one wanted to believe, believe they would exist[...] But, There's one they fear. In their tongue, he's Dovahkiin: Dragon Born!" So, the new menace isn't precisely new as the third sentence suggest, they were defeated already, but that only managed to delay them and not completely stop them as it was believed. Another thing suggested by trailer is that there is going to be war or maybe some sort of civil war within the province. And finally, the name Dovahkiin sounds Daedric and if there is something the Daedroth fear is the power of the dragonfires. Then again, there is one line in the trailer that throws my theory down "but no one wanted to believe, believe they would exist" Everyone knows about the daedra, specially after the whole Mankar Camoran incident.
