  1. Yes but the problem might have to do with the fact it is an older version.
  2. Very annoying trying to kill a radroach with a .5o. I think it is because the rifle is to big to see where the radroach is. :wallbash:
  3. Why would you take out the leveled lists?? I have another mod that makes ALL weapons available at level 1. Makes for a really interesting start to the game. I still see pipe weapons, and vanilla weapons as well. Combine this with PANPC mod, and the wasteland just got a LOT more dangerous. :D What mod is that?
  4. I do not use the default weapons as well, except in the beginning when I can not find a proper weapon. I use the British 80 mod and it feels right. The raiders end up with the DKS rifle which makes the game more real(?). Not to use over three mags of .38 ammo. for a pipe pistol, to kill a Radscorpions or two more mags to kill a Black bloatfly, with a 10mm.

  7. It would absolutaly make sense to use them as spies since one would get the perfect overview of most locations. On the other hand there might be certain things in the wilderness that hunt birds, so you would probably have synth bird parts laying around everywhere, revealing that everybody is monitored at every time. Either way, I do like the possibility and the eery feeling it creates.   8. I would not have anything to do with the Railroad, the Institute or Raiders. If the game did not make Preston so annoying I would be ok with the Minute Men. I also like the Gunners, and far down the list is BOS. Raiders are just nuke targets. :)

  10. I don't think you've thought this through very carefully. You're confusing 'brand name' with claims the manufacturer/retailer makes about a product or service - brand names are generally seen as a signal as opposed to factual claims about product quality, reliability, features etc which are generally the consequential aspects of any claims about false advertising. Further, I'm not that familiar with Fallout lore, but it would be totally plausible that the terms 'radiation' and 'nuclear' possessed only good connotations for consumers - a virtually limitless, clean energy source that enabled a superior standard of living. Of course our associations with those terms are coloured by disturbing and catastrophic events in history - Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, nuclear war, etc. They may seem like flaws to you but that's because you're filtering them through your own real-world view. Agreed. Those names and that culture are tongue in cheek nod to a extrapolated 50ies cultire where anything seemed possible and "atomic", "nuclear" and radiation" have not had such emotional threat responses attached to them. Correction it started in the late 1933 and women used radiation as makeup. :)

I have Homemaker 1.61 working in the game but it combined, or was already there, with chain link fences by Callias (https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4?number_results=20&order=desc&page=1&platform=WINDOWS&product=fallout4&sort=popular&text=chainlink%20fences). The problem is all the other fences that where in Chain Link fences, concrete walls, steel walls and so on crash in Homemaker. My only solution to the problem would be upgrade Homemaker to the latest version, not possible since I do not want all the DLC, or remove Homemaker. If there was another mod that built the buildings in Homemaker I would remove this mod. Sadly no other mod has the buildings I want that are in Homemaker. So my next option, I believe, is separate the two mods if that is possible. Thank you.   13. I am rebuild the two buildings where the workshop is. Does any one no how I can angle a wall section for the wall behind the workshop. I do not want to use any of the rebuild mods, or mods where I have to buy DLC. I do have Far Harbour.   14. According to the video "Download Mods" in the dashboard when you run FO4, they used Skyrim, the logo Nexus Mods logo should show up. Unfortunately when I get to the FO4 game menu, after the Bethesda splash screen and the intro videos, there is no logo for Nexus mods. Is there a problem and if so how do I fix it? Also is this why I am still being told mods are missing?

  17. Now I am more then confused. FO4 says that BetterSettlementMenuFixer.esl, and others, do not exist but when I checked D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data the file is there. Second I am back to the beginning of this thread Vortex mods are showing no picture in the FO4 mod order list. Mods are so confusing.
  18. I uninstall Vortex and all the mods that where present in the old install are now in the new install and they do not work and I get a lot of error messages. So how do I do a clean install where Vortex knows to install on my D: drive, that is where Steam is located?

  20. Based on what I do not see FO4 mod manger and what I am seeing know with Vortex.
  21. Why would anyone that lives in the FO4 time build so crappy houses that they would get max radiation? Humans are very clever, just look how many ways we have figure out to kill some one, and in the real world that we live humans have adapted to making house, in North America they used wood, logs, mud, holes and so on. So in the FO4 verse they would do the same thing and not build a crappy house that a Death Claw could destroy with one swipe.
  22. Well, the population can't build shelters, can't make beds, can't plant crops, need to be told what to do, and where to do it.... Basically, they are all just big children, with a lot of the same attitudes...... Its absolutely amazing ANYONE is alive at all. Do you actually pick up buckets, know that they could have been used as chamber pots. :rolleyes:
  23. Not sure about paper. Posters at least. But you can turn 3 pencils into a fence. Try doing that at home. (& No, HO scale doesn't count) :dry: Or use clipboards for wood, like how? It is basically sawdust.
