  1. For the character I played longest, Leah, I had a long, detailed back story about how she was framed and ended up in prison. She had killed someone in self-defense who had attempted to rape her but was accused of murder because it was her word against 'witnesses' who had not seen her. Because she was an orphan and thus an outcast, no one believed her. An empathetic captain felt she didn't deserve to be there and was working on a way to have her sentence overturned. The details on how it came about aren't clear but the Emperor took an interest and personally authorized her release to Vvardenfell on the condition that she never return to Cyrodiil again except on his or his successors' orders. For my current character, well, she won't tell me yet just what she did to land in prison. All she will tell me is that some things are better left to rest in the past. I figure it was pretty bad.
  2. NCIS and NCIS: LA. Both shows I cannot tear myself from. Someone above said Dr. Who. I have to second that.
  3. Coke. There is anything else?
  4. I haven't played yet, but I was curious...does the game touch at all on the wars with the Dunmer? In Morrowind, the Dunmer often say that the Nords are their ancient enemies. I just wondered if they acknowledge that in any way.
  5. I hope this is the right place to make such a request as I couldn't find anywhere else. If not, I apologize. I'm staring a new Morrowind character and I know the head/hair I want to use but I wanted to customize them just a little as far as changing eye color and slight adjustment to the hair color. I was wondering if someone who has the art talent could load them up and do this for me please? I'd do it myself but I have no clue how and I don't have Photoshop or whatever is needed for this. I have already found and singled out the correct meshes, just need a volunteer I can send them to for the art work. Thank you in advance.
  6. I meant the visual of Thomas Jefferson slapping these people is hilarious. The people themselves are actually pretty pathetic. I guess I should've changed my phrasing slightly. I can't be perfect every day.
  7. *facepalm* Wow! That's hilarious. Some people never studied American history and have no clue what this country stands for. Thomas Jefferson would've slapped these people.
  8. I like extreme metal mostly...black, death, melodic death, folk. I got sick of classic rock and now almost exclusively listen to metal. I've lost patience for most mainstream genres. They sound old and tired to my ears. I guess I'm still waiting for the next new thing that sounds good. Until then, metal seems to be where most of the really talented musicians are.
  9. I've tried being evil in Morrowind without turning to vampirism and honestly, the game just isn't inherently designed for that. Most of the quests are designed to emphasize that the player is a hero. I notice even the Telvanni quests; amoral as someone has mentioned; do not go the distance as far as the evilness that they are portrayed IMHO. I thought the Hlaalu quests were more questionably amoral in some respects. I know my conscience pricked me more while doing Hlaalu quests than the Telvanni ones. In my mind, at least the Telvanni were honest about their ruthless methods and murdering to get ahead did not bother me at all - that is just the way they are and they're honest about it. The Hlaalu wouldn't understand honesty if it slapped them in the face. To me, they were far more crooked than the Telvanni. Mods can help characters be more evil but by itself, Morrowind really isn't designed for that. Not saying it can't be done because I'm sure it has been, but it's not easy and eliminates many of the game's quests because there is no option other than being the do-gooder. I think to play evil in Morrowind, it would require a combination of mods, a lively imagination, the ability to roleplay and to design your own personal quests to fulfill all the bad-ass evilness you want your character(s) to embody. Good luck with that.
  10. Hi All, Haven't been here in eons, good to see this forum is still here. I'm currently playing Morrowind while waiting for my husband to finish Skyrim so I can play it. I guess I'll see you all around.
