  1. I just read it, thanks for posting!
  2. Just found this topic. This is still not working, yet many people using firefox I think?
  3. Is there a way to enable author tracking in notifications, but not receive notifications of images that the author uploads?
  4. The thing is, it's not that notable in older fallouts and elder scrolls games. For some reason, the NPC's in fallout 4 look absolutely identical when it comes to faces. So much so that it's creepy to see.
  5. The one thing keeping me from playing fallout again is the NPC's. When I see them it's like seeing the same person over and over again with different hair and makeup. As if the same person keeps dressing up differently. It freaks me out a little. I can't find anything about this online. NPC mods improve this a little, but the faces remain so similar they might still all be the same person. I know Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV didn't have the best NPC's too, but they didn't give me the feeling of them all being twins. The certain sharp facial features are what causes this I think. Would it be solvable by changing the face meshes? Does such a mod exist? I love fallout since the first game, but I still haven't this one because of this.
  6. For anyone with the same problem. I managed to fix it by switching from Immersive Citizens to AI Overhaul. And I also removed the furniture overrides from the Rigmor of Bruma mod but I doubt if that had anything to do with it. I'm not 100% sure it was Immersive Citizens. But I think it was a conflict between that mod and some other mod or something. AI Overhaul doesn't conflict with other mods as much.

  8. I found the problem, it was a mismatch in specular maps. Apparently that can have a big effect on neckseams.
  9. I created a custom race from the vanilla breton race, and only edited textures (dds) and normal maps (dds) files. I never used nifskope. Are those flags also present in creation kit?
  10. I created a custom race and in Creation Kit (and ingame) the color of the head is different then the color of the body. The head and body textures are exactly the same color, I even tested this by replacing them with the default cbbe textures, even then the mismatch occurs. I have been fiddling with everything, but I cannot seem to solve it. I also checked the tint sliders and such, nothing can solve it. What could be the cause of this? It only happens with my custom race, not the default races. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful. It looks like the body color doesn't match the texture, it looks more purple then the actual texture does. That causes the mismatch. But how does it happen?
  11. It so often happens that after I ask for help, I find the solution. The culprit was the Intel DDS extension for photoshop, it can (I don't know and don't care when/how) create a DDS that makes Skyrim SE crash. I switched to the NVIDEA DDS extension and the problem is solved. Maybe this can help someone with the same problem in the future.
  12. I am editing some textures and normal maps and it all works fine, except for one normal map. As soon as I edit it, skyrim se gets a CTD when I load a savegame. I have no clue what is going on here, can't find anything online, who here knows what the problem could be?
  13. Hey, just found this topic. I posted about it a while ago too. Still haven't been able to figure out what causes it. And like you said, it doesn't happen when I see the NPC sit down. I can even do a moveto player on the npc that sits in the air and he will sit down again in the right crossed legged way. Anyway this is my post: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7595802-npcs-sit-in-the-air/ I'll check your loadorder, see which mods we both use to test some more. If you find out anything please let me know!
  14. To those with the same problem, could you post your modlist/loadorder, then I will test by disabling the mods we both use and see if the problem stops.
  15. I noticed that it only happens when I am not around when the character sits down. If an NPC sits down while I'm there, the problem doesn't occur.
  16. I have a problem with NPC's sitting in the air where they should be sitting on the ground. It happened to me in Skyrim LE and I never found a sollution, now the problem is back in Skyrim SE too. I found a post about it for Skyrim LE where more people had the problem, but no sollution was ever found, apart from a suggestion that it could be overwritten sitting animations in the skeleton (but I don't know how to check my mods for that). Can anyone chime in? This is the post: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4859330-npss-sit-on-invisible-chairs/ This is the problem: http://i63.tinypic.com/2vi45r6.jpg
  17. I got a great answer to my question on reddit, linking it here so people with the same problem can find it: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/b6vfkq/weird_pixel_movement_in_skyrim_se_textures/
  18. I have this weird problem I can't seem to fix. It seems to worsen when using an ENB instead of normal AA and it seems to worsen the higher my settings are. I also think it might be related to HD texture packs (I use Noble Skyrim). I created a video to show what I'm talking about, because I couldn't find anything when googling. You have to set the video to 1080, it still shows up on the video in the green patches in the middle of the road walfway through the video. As soo as I get really close the texture shows up normal again. Does anyone here recognize this? Here is the video: https://youtu.be/iu2QqF5-3G0
  19. Question: Can vortex handle special circumstances like Skyrim's Enderal Total Conversion? NMM couldn't because it had a check on a base game .esm file that is removed by installing Enderal.
  20. In response to post #64240536. #64241556, #64257346, #64259246, #64260621, #64261171 are all replies on the same post. Sounds great. After you configure groups, and setup rules, can you export this configuration (is there a backup feature, can't find anything on that with a quick search)? BTW Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions, I really appreciate that!
  21. In response to post #64240536. #64241556, #64257346, #64259246 are all replies on the same post. I've come across some really weird issues that I was only able to solve by a really specific load order, I can't give a reason why exactly but that's my experience. Another reason could be that users want to order their load order specifically for a better personal overview, even if it's not necessary. They way I created my load order was to sort it with loot, group mods together by type (for my own overview of it all) leaving the place in the load order more or less in tact, and finally make small adjustments based on bugs I find. It takes a lot of work, but I'm left with a load order I love.
  22. In response to post #64240536. #64241556 is also a reply to the same post. What about NMM load orders? Ordering 255 mods by hand is a lot of work, and I have all bethesda games installed and modded to the limit. If I can't import that load list I will be sorting mods for days.
  23. I can't find any information on whether it's possible to import your own specific load order in Vortex? I don't want a Loot auto sorted load order since it will cause bugs, I want my own specific load order exported from NMM since that is the one that works. Is it possible to do that in Vortex?
