  1. There are some mods that are used across multiple games that mod authors, such as myself, have been required to maintain mod pages across the various Nexus sites in order for them to show up on those Nexus sites. This causes the difficulty of updating each page every time we have to update the mod. Or, in some cases, redirecting users to a different Nexus site's mod page to download the mod. Or, simply maintaining a mod page on a single Nexus site and leaving anybody who does not know about the mod to find it for themselves. This is especially a problem for mods that are used for both original Skyrim and the Enderal spinoff of Skyrim. Many users probably do not even know that the Enderal Nexus site exists! What I would propose as a solution would be: could we add a tag to a single mod page that would allow it to show up on the other Nexus sites search and category lists? For example, mods on Skyrim Nexus have a Enderal tag in the tags section, which allows you to search for all mods that are Enderal compatible. However, with the Enderal site in addition to that, there would seem to be some confusion as to where the proper place to look for Enderal mods would be. For example, I can search on Skyrim Nexus with the Enderal compatibility tag, and I come up with 192 mods. Enderal Nexus has only 125 mods total. I would suggest that all mods tagged as Enderal compatible should show up in that list on Enderal Nexus, and that the proper place to look for Enderal mods would be on Enderal Nexus. Similarly, if I search for Vortex on any of the mod sites, I will not find a link to the Vortex mod. This mod should be tagged for all the games it supports so that it shows up on all the game sites that it supports when you search for Vortex. Now, this doesn't affect Vortex very much, because it is advertised on all the Nexus sites on the front page, but you see my point. I say this with personal bias, because my BethINI utility is such a mod. It is used for Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edition, and Enderal. For a long time, I only maintained a mod page on Skyrim Nexus. But then I realized, people cannot find my mod on the other sites! So only people who knew that it was compatible would use it, which is not the common user. The common user is searching on the relative Nexus game site either by category of mod or by the search function. They are not going to look for a Fallout 4 mod on Skyrim Nexus! However, as I look to update my mod now again for the 24th time, I dread having to update all the pages with the same files, the same version number, the same changes to the mod description.... but I will do it for the sake of ... humanity? So, in order to help the minority of mod authors like me who have mods that span across multiple games, I would love it if you guys could add the ability for game-name-confused mods to show up on all games they support in both the search results and the category lists. I understand that this would probably require a lot of work, and I will understand if you do not implement this feature.
  2. In response to post #8578969. #8579987 is also a reply to the same post. I have absolutely no trouble downloading through the Nexus via Chrome. Perhaps you have an extension that is causing it to fail? Try the portable version of Chrome maybe.
