  1. User interface so bad that I can't even look at it smh
  2. If you don't understand it then that's not a good reason to express yourself in such a vitriolic fashion. I recommend you read the documentation and/or watch a Vortex tutorial video - the one by GamerPoets is recommended as he covers exactly the feature that your image shows. Where's the video? The only two videos I can find are about the setup and Zmerge.
  3. That's not what they're called. They would have capitalization. I would know because I've named some of them(not pictured). not all mods have capitalisation - however if those ones do and that's 100% correct then have you modified your theme somehow to make everything lower case? i know this is possible with css - and - never rule anything out, right? I would suggest that if you're having difficulty with the default fonts (they are pretty garbage I have to admit), then clone the theme and choose fonts that are easier for you to read. for myself i use SEGOE UI on my own cloned theme as i think its easier on the eye given the color-bind, eye-gouging colour choice that Vortex comes with as default. I haven't modified the theme to do that. It just does it. And the worst part is, it's not even consistent about it, so I get frequent glimpses into a world in which the plugins are easy to read only for me to mark a plugin as light and for everything to be taken away. If by "Mark a plugin light, and everything gets taken away" are you saying that if you turn on the COULD BE LIGHT filter, that all the other plugins disappear from the LIST, then that's EXACTLY how a FILTER should work. When you mark a Plugin LIGHT, by using the COULD BE LIGHT Filter, once you mark the Plugin LIGHT, it will DISAPPEAR from the List, because now the Plugin is LIGHT, and will stop showing up in the COULD BE LIGHT list. Is that what you're trying to convey? No, I'm saying that when I mark a plugin as light the capitalization of letters gets taken away.
  4. The only problem is the layout, it sorts correctly but looks absolutely horrendous.
  5. I The only way you can get loot groups looking that messed up is by assigning plugins to LOOT groups or Creating your Groups, and then forcing them to sort incorrectly. SIMPLE AS THAT. So, please describe EXACTLY, what YOU are doing in order to get these messed up screenshots. If that's the incorrect way to use the sorting feature then why does it give you the option to create new groups?

  8. Why does the auto layout think that this is okay? What is the reason for this atrocity? Edit: I attached an image. The image is not here.

  10. They aren't. You can even tell which mods the plugins come from to verify that the plugins have capitalization in them, such as 3DNPC. As for enabling the 'mod' setting, while a good suggestion, is also is pretty... uh... not a solution. Also, sorry for the late reply, got pre-occupied with something other than a Vortex bug.
  11. I have auto-updates enabled, so if so that would be an issue with that.
  12. That's not what they're called. They would have capitalization. I would know because I've named some of them(not pictured).
  13. The plugins in the LOOT interface don't keep capitalization and it's making it hard for me to read. Is there any way to fix this? Edit: Maybe I should give more context. They're perfectly fine before deploying, but about half-way through they lose the capitalization.
  14. I actually managed to fix it! You see, I reflected on the fact that it mentioned that I lacked the access to the file, and I shared the file, with myself! It worked, and now I am not going to do anything else with it for the rest of the week because I don't want it to break again. This event has truamatised me. Hopefully this helps someone else, I was freaking out for a good thirty minutes before I came here.
  15. Oh! Forgot to mention, that it actually effects the installer as well! But not the uninstaller, which is odd.
  16. Vortex is shut down, but thanks for the other info. I wouldn't actually know why there's two antivirus programs on this computer. I am the only one who uses it extensively, but it's actually a family computer. I will report back with more information when I acquire it.
  17. I also forgot to mention that I added Vortex as an exception to both Immunet and Avast! Antivirus.
  18. I was using Vortex to install the Lexy's Legacy of the Dragonborn Skyrim Modding Guide. I attempted to merge two seperate mods together, specifically MysteriousDawn's HD Skyrim Overhaul files titled "HD Skyrim Overhaul - Highest Quality Pack" and "New Dirt02 and Road01 Textures" No downloads were active while I attempted to merge these mods, however there did happen to be a mod that I did not install yet, Northern Shores. When the process appeared to be complete, Vortex suddenly crashed and an Immunet popup appeared (I don't remember what it said, I apologise.) I attempted to relaunch Vortex, however the following text appeared: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. The other programs I was running were Three tabs of Chrome, two for modding, one for music. Discord Twitch(too lazy to Task Manager it) I would appreciate any help at all, even if it is unsuccessful.
  19. Please hurry my hands are cramping up
  20. I just want a script that changes the workbench keyword on constructible objects to the skyforge. That's it. If anyone can make that for me, then that would be very much appreciated.
  21. Ex. the message you get when interacting with the door or bed in alternate start Any message box I get is blank, and it starts when I have more than 150 plugins. I'm using Vortex, if that matters. I can also produce my load order if needed. Also, it appears I can't talk to the statue of mara. It isn't specifically alternate start, though. The Curators Companion also has the bug.
  22. This is copy-pasted from a previous question. I think it would fit better here. I just can't wrap my head around it. I want to make it so that the mods that I have installed use the icons from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37231?tab=description but when I attempt to add the keyword to the weapons, SSEedit says that it's not a valid integer. If anyone could help me, it would be appreciated. Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place, literally just found out that Nexus had a forum 5 minutes ago. edit: nvmd tinkered around a bit and found that I had to do this: 1 go to keywords in the esm or esp 2 rightclick on keywords and then click add, and next to it should appear KYWD, click it 3 press okay 4 click on the newly created formid 5 right click next to EDID - Editor ID and click add 6 write the desired id
