  1. Here's a question that may not be asked often. But if Bethesda approached you regarding account linking between Nexus and Bethnet (and I guess Steam) would you be open to that idea or are there insurmountable problems with it?
  2. Make sure you've got Archive Invalidation set in your FalloutCustom.ini, and then make sure all the meshes from your mods are located where they should be in the Data folder for Fallout 4.
  3. Dayum that's actually a really awesome idea!
  4. Hmmmmmm of those I imagine Dead Body Collision being most likely to cause an issue, since obviously corpses and gore go hand in hand. Either that or one of your texture mods. So I'd recommend fiddling around with those.
  5. What mods ARE you using? Because it's very probably a mod problem.
  6. How did you seriously get to this part of the forum without seeing the section marked specifically "Mod Requests"? It's not an easy thing to miss. In any case there's a massive subforum dedicated to mod ideas already, so this is kinda redundant. I agree that craftable vehicles would be great though, even if the map weren't designed to handle them.
  7. The idea is simple-ish! I want a mod that adds a new variant of Super Mutant, called a Soupy Mutant. Soupy Mutants would be distinguishable by the presence of: -Chef hats -Aprons -Large ladles as melee weapons, likely using the same stats as a Super Sledge or something of the like. -This one's a bit harder but soup-themed banter. So when they're attacking you they say things like "I've found our next stew!", or "Minnestrone!!!!" -Actual cans of soup on their persons, this soup would add 2 to charisma, strength and perception, but subtract 1 from endurance (the soup is SO delicious that it makes you less enduring, because you're extremely relaxed by it), and would be called "Soupy Mutant Soup". Possibility of different brands of soup, and a chance to pick up the recipes for it would do well also. I have some graphic design experience so I could help with the construction of a soup label. I lack the mod-savvyness to make the whole thing myself though. :p
  8. At least now I properly understand what it actually does. :p Before I switched over to playing on the new machine I didn't even use it, and somehow all my mods were working right.
  9. Okay you can burn me at the stake now. The issue was that I hadn't done archive invalidation. O_O
  10. Right the issue is being caused by custom categories and meshes somehow. The only mods I've got that are causing problems are ones that add categories to the settlement menu AND have their own meshes. Crafting Workbenches has its own meshes, homemaker has its own meshes, glass stuff has it's own meshes, and so does Armorsmith Extended. I've also just tested it with custom armor (B-90 suit) and I think the issue is entirely caused by the game not loading meshes or textures from mods. Like, at all. This makes 90% of mods useless to me so are there any fixes or do I have to manually install all mods until GECK? @_@
  11. I'll try that and get back to you but I doubt it's the actual issue. I had both of these mods working (Legendary Effects was the first of them that I had) together on my old machine, and I don't see how its presence would cause a CTD at the base categories menu of the Settlement Workshop, as it seems to be having an issue with extra categories/the things contained within them. We'll see though. I'll try it and get back to you.
  12. This is an existing issue with NMM, only real way to work around it is to manually install stuff. I've been having problems similar to this that cause CTD whenever I try to build settlements. :p Hopefully Nexus will fix the issue soon.
  13. Check to make sure that Homemaker's meshes have actually been put into the Data folder. For some reason NMM seems to be having issues with that particular Mod. For me, 1.31c meshes and textures were transferred, but in 1.31d, they weren't. Just a matter of manually downloading the mod (if this is the case) and copy/paste the folders into the Data directory. Meshes etc are all there. After a bit of fiddling I've noticed that the CTDs have something to do with categories or their contents. I was able to get Robot Home Defense working with the workbench (ish, didn't actually try to place any), but when I turned on the L2M workbench and crafting workbenches the game would CTD when I went over to the category within which they're contained. But honestly I'm out of ideas. I don't know how to hell to fix this and it's really really annoying trying to. Considering that it worked flawlessly on my old machine. NMM's lack of working here is very irritating.
  14. Hi! Title says it all. I've been getting CTDs every time I try to open the workshop/bench at Sanctuary. I tried to isolate the problem but I think it's settlement mods on a whole, possibly their load order. In any case here's a screenshot of my load order. If anyone can provide assistance here I'd be most grateful. I know for a fact that the workbench works when there are no settlement-affecting mods enabled, so the issue probably lies in the load order. I had all these mods but Repair Sanctuary and the B-90 armor working on my old machine (I switched to a new one and did Nexus installs for everything instead of manual, as I did originally), and both run the same OS.
