  1. The new site is much better. People are just afraid of change. The convenience of the new features will overtake their nostalgia in time. Keep up the good work!
  2. I fully appreciate your diligence in taking care of this ad issue, and will gladly turn off my adblocker as soon as this Saturday comes around. Currently, this site is borderline unusable with the sorts of ads we get here. - just a suggestion, maybe you can incentivize people to turn off their adblockers by giving them some form of redeemable credit. That credit could be redeemed for short term (maybe a day or a week's work) premium membership, or even just partial features of the premium membership, like access to premium servers.
  3. This is more of a proof-of-concept for me than a fully planned installation, but have a look! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvC149RlEaE
  4. Definitely would like to see this become a real mod. Maybe tacked on to a build-a-city style mod with more settlement management features like rent, taxes etc.
  5. It'd be nice to see people come and check out my settlements as they gain popularity. I'd like to see people shopping abd eating at my settlements, and perhaps I could even earn caps that way.
  6. Larger settlements could benefit from having roads and paths to connect different areas, especially if those roads and paths forced the settlers to use them.
  7. Instead of instantaneously building the objects in your settlements, you plot down 'blueprints'. Settlers then have to be assigned to build your blueprints (which will take time respective to the size of the build and amount of builders), very much like Age of Empires. It'd make use of all those hammering animations already in game, and add an immersive extra layer of challenge.
  8. Or even script a faux caravan NPC for the script, offering safe transport, would also be a fun thing to make some quests from, like getting your caravan ambushed.

  10. I was thinking it's be nice to have a mod that makes fast travel require owning a horse, and that you could only fast travel from a city. It's this already a mod? I was hoping to make my Skyrim experience require more adventure, sort of the way Morrowind more or less forced you to travel the routes at times. I'm thinking of combining this with a mod that prevents waiting in the wild without a bed, to give a purpose to all those bandit camps and empty sheds. And let's be honest, it's a little cheap that you can just wait an hour in the middle of some ruins and have all your stats revived.
