How to add music holotape in game?
MrShersh replied to MrShersh's topic in Fallout New Vegas's GECK and Modders
Found solution of my problem. After sometime, write it here. In short, this is the volume level in db. I've used Adobe Audition for change it and it works. You need to low volume of your track if you want to fix bad sound, like in my previous videos. EXAMPLE 4 Oh and track now: Format: 44.1 16 bit WAV (19.9mb size). -
How to add music holotape in game?

Hello, thank you for your answer!I tried, as you said, first removing the audio file from the voice folder. Unfortunately, no matter what format I try to use, the holo recording becomes 7 seconds long and she is silence. Here my screens I even tried using standard FX (wav) sound files, music from the radio (MP3). The Ogg format of GECK does not allow me to use the Sound category. If I did something wrong, please tell me, I will try to do it right  The only thing I was able to do at the moment is to use the audio file in the Voice folder (in the same place in the dialog topic)I also managed to reduce the broken sounds-changing the bitrate to 22,050 16b mono, as well as reducing the volume db-but this is still not exactly what I would like. Hi! Thanks for the answer! No, in my case, it's not a radio station. My idea is that the main character finds a recorded CD with a song that can be run in the pipboy. As a "note". I mean, it's definitely not a radio station. Holodisk is the very thing I want to implement.I also checked the audio file format-it's like in the guidebook. But you can see that his work is bad :( -
Newbie looking to start creating mods
MrShersh replied to AdmiralCain's topic in Fallout New Vegas's GECK and Modders
Hello! If you want create only retextures - you need to know only Photoshop + DDS plugin from Nvidia (I recomend Legacy version of this plugin). Bonus, you can use BSA unpacker or download like mods you wanna create (Loading screens example) and just replace their texture in Data structure (If you dont know where location loading screen textures in default game without mods). So you to know basic or middle level skill Photoshop for your begining. If you dont want to create a new high quality models of billboards. If it just textures like image on billboards, so again - only photoshop and dds plugin from Nvidia. BSA Unpacker work like win rar archive or 7z (very simple). Hope I was answer to you. Sorry for my english, friend. -
