Of all the things in Skyrim that I dislike, from the Imperial Legion, to quest items not updating (I'm looking at you, Strange Amulet), and said quest items refusing to leave my inventory after finishing the quest, I just HATE Skyrim's item arrangement system. Not inside the inventory, I'm totally cool with that. I mean organizing things in a room. I have no idea why Bethesda designed it as it is. Once, in the Thieves' Guild room, I found the statue that was always on my desk, never touched, sitting in the waterfall! I mean, games can glitch out, I know that. But, when I tried to replace it, the statue, as with all items, turned upside down. Why would anyone want to place a statue, with a base and clearly defined bottom, on its head?! Not only statues; it happens with tankards, salt piles, Statues of Dibella, anything! Whenever I try to move an item, it turns upside down in midair! I just HAAATE it! What is your opinion on it?

Pretty interesting mod idea: Invasion of Skyrim by European Crusaders from the Middle Ages! What if Skyrim was part of Earth? They have technology akin to the Middle Ages, similar races of humans, but have no idea of what lies beyond Tamriel. What if to the East, lies the continent of Europe, that just discovered a New World, full of gold, cities, and heathens. Crusaders would come pouring in from England, Italy, France, and all the German states. They would sweep through the New World in the name of God, driving out all heretics to the One True Faith, slaughtering all of the "inferior" elves that they can find. That's the basic idea of the mod. I'm pretty sure there are people who've designed medieval-type Crusader armor, and it wouldn't be hard for an experienced modder (aka not me) to develop a European Crusader/knight npc. If would start out once you complete the Civil War quests, when a courier comes up and says you have a letter from Ulfric Stormcloak (or General Tullius), who immediately requires your attention. Once you arive, Ulfric/Tullius says mysterious ships have appeard off the coast of Dawnstar, and you're sent to investigate with about 5 Imperials/Stormcloaks. Once you arrive, Dawnstar is burning (Dawnstar Sanctuary is untouched) and is swarming with Europeans! When you approach, one of them tells you to halt, and questions you. Depending on how you respond, you are attacked, or escorted to a British Lord who runs the operation. You have 3 options: Negotiate with the Lord, attack, or flee. if you negotiate, you are inducted into the English Army, convert to Christianity, and help conquer Solitude, Windhelm, and Whiterun, eventually becoming Knighted. After visiting any major city, all Elves, Orcs, Khajit, (except for the essential characters) and priests are missing (the pile of burned corpses outside each town gives you an idea), and all "pagan" temples or statues are either destroyed, or converted into Christian churches*. Of course, if you're an elf, option 1 (negotiate, become Knight) is immediately unavailable, since I assume this sort of racism would exist, like with the Nords towards Dark Elves. Also, if you do option one, your race changes from Nord to "English," Redguard to "Moorish," Imperial to "Italian," and Breton stays the same, since people from Brittany (part of northern France) were called Bretons. If you choose option 2 or 3, you will have to retreat from Dawnstar and report to Ulfric/Tullius that you contacted a mysterious group calling themselves "Europeans" who plan to conquer Skyrim and wipe out your way of life! You will eventually have to defend Solitude/Windhelm, and if more than 10 Crusaders get past, the city falls and is "conquered." You may choose to try and liberate the city by invading like the Civil War missions and killing the appointed Lord, and if you do, it returns to normal, and all "disappeared" elves, orcs, or priests have a 33% chance of reappearing. If not, check the Hall of the Dead for some decent loot. There may also be a "resistance" fresh off of the Civil war that may aid you in reconquering the cities. If you have any good suggestions, post my good friend! Sorry if too long for you. *If you are offended by the religious undertones of the Crusaders, I'm sorry, I don't mean to start a flame war, but that's how history went: Crusaders slaughtering all heathens/peasants in their path.

I love you. I mean, this is my peanut butter-banana sandwich! Skyrim and Gangnam Style, what more is there to ask for?

I used Jenassa too, and btw, she's in the Drunken Huntsman. Also, I can't believe everyone forgot about the House of Horrors with Molag Bol! You go into a house to try and clean out some Daedra worshippers with a Vigilant of Stendarr, but then you have to kill him! Next, Molag Bol makes you go to a random dungeon to rescue a priest, who later goes back to said Horrendous House, and you have to bludgeon him to death, resurrect him, then kill him again!

Goldenglow Estate and Scoundrel's Folly question
Dovahkiin234 replied to sinnerman69's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It's a joke, because people say their games are all buggy. -
The two things that made me feel like a sick excuse of a human (in Skyrim) are not being able to let the other two hostages go in the 1st DB quest after killing one (and leaving them to die), and then having to kill Nilsine Shatter-Shield, who lost her sister to the Butcher of Windhelm, because Muiri, who ordered the hit, said that if Nilsine is also dead, then Tova Shatter-Shield will HAVE to accept her almost as a surrogate daughter. Also, I had to lead an unwitting victim to the top of a mountain, tell them to touch the Pillar of Sacrifice, then kill them to appease the twisted desires of Boethiah. And I had to rescue, then kill a priest of Boethiah for... wait, he deserved it. I also once killed two Vigilants of Stendarr, and a random woman, for no reason whatsoever.

Me? Let's see... I was a revered Stormcloak officer, I'm Thane of the Reach, the Forsworn always try to kill me, the Silver-Blood family supports the Stormcloak rebellion... Go Nords!

Wrong topic. Move to mod requests.

Why thank you, Hoamaii. I just came up with that on the spot.

Conspiracy Theories about Skyrim or Tamriel?
Dovahkiin234 replied to Dovahkiin234's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Not at all. If I was stoned or something, I'd be on Digg, with plans to overthrow all mass media falling to collective laziness or something like that. This whole page was just one big idea that floated into my mind, all because of two words: "What if..." Wow. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. -
What if... Tamriel was Earth, long abandoned? Like, if the Elder scrolls were super computers that store knowledge way beyond human comprehension? Or if dragons were scientifically resurrected dinosaurs that could understand human speech? What if the races of Elves were genetically altered humans? And magic was simply science? Freezing of Atmora? Polar ice caps expanding do to less pollution. And the Daedra were aliens from another dimension? What if the destruction of Yokuda, the Redguards' home continent was nukes :nuke: ? And the ability to use the Thu'um? Scientifically altered vocal cords! Anyone one else have crazy theories about Skyrim or Tamriel and tamriel they'd like to share? P.S: Is this in the right topic?

Assuming I survived Helgen, I'd go with Ralof or Hadvar to riverwood, get a job at Hod's lumber mill. Then, when I'm rich enough selling firewood, I'd buy some armor, hire a mercenary, and travel to Whiterun. From there, I'd stay in the Bannered Mare, have some cheese, then buy a carriage ride to Solitude. I'd apply at the Bard's college, where I an study history. There, I'd also dabble in science, and 'discover" a ton of scientific theories that are commonplace in reality (I'm glad I never fell asleep in science class). I'd also generate income by publishing popular book series like Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. If they sell (why wouldn't they), I'd make enough money to buy Proudspire Manor. Then, I'd find a hot wench, settle down, have a family, and be set for life. Just to be safe, I'd kill old Grelod, and stay awake all night, so that when Astrid comes to kidnap me, I'll simply kill my precaptured hostage that I ingeniously hid in the closet, and go to the Sanctuary (I can stop there). I'd also buy a share in the Black-Briar Meadery, effectively guaranteeing safety from both the Dark Brotherhood and Theives Guild. And, as a nice touch, I might also be able to just bribe my way into Elisif's court, guaranteeing importance in the Hold until the world inevitably implodes because I didn't kill Aldluin.

Yes. The dwarven Sphere head on it is a nice touch.

YES. I feel the literature in the fine land of Skyrim is... not so fine. The most up to date published book in the vanilla game I found was just after the Oblivion crisis! Plus, Skyrim's never heard of Harry Potter, so... And, if you choose to publish the book, you have to pay 2,000 septims to get it started, and may (randomly) become a bestseller, & a copy will be in almost every house in Skyrim! Or, you may say what genre it is, or certain keywords are detected in the title, people will react accordingly! Like if I published a book with the word "dwarves" or "dwemer" in the title, Calcelmo in Markarth will compliment the book (Or hate it, if the book "flops")! This is probably too extreme for most modders out there, so maybe just the pay & random bestselling idea.

I think the most ironic moment I faced was that when I zapped a Vigilant of Stendarr with the Wabbajack, he turned into a Daedra.

Several people have made "Forsworn faction" mods, but what if... you take it farther? The men could become Briarhearts, which would give perks like +40 stamina, health, but if you drop your briarheart, you die instantly, and Reach guards attack on sight, but are left alone by fellow forsworn. Ladies, you can become hagravens, and have huge boosts in all magic types & magica regen, but you have -50 health, and are attacked by city guards on sight, but are left alone by forsworn, all creatures besides spriggans (everyone knows that hagravens hate spriggans), and both are only available to bretons, or reahmen (some mods add those). Whaddya think?
