  1. The reason their necks are so thin is because they have to attach to the default female body. If Bethesda had pulled their finger out and made a custom body mesh for them, then we wouldn't have this issue. Argonians also shouldn't have breasts, as they lay eggs. I don't recall any real-world animal that has/does both. Especially a lizard. Bethesda - they're great at making the virtual worlds, but get lazy with quest building, creature/race building and bug fixing.
  2. The only British accent you can get away with in Skyrim is the Bristol accent, and that's only because half the male guards sound like they're from Bristol.
  3. Okay, are the eyes still part of the race? Click on the eyes selection in the Race window and if anything other than "None" is there in the drop down menu, then somehow the race is linked to the Khajiit headparts. To get new eyes you'll either have to make duplicates of existing eyes and link them to your new race headparts formlist you created to get the new head, or add your new race to an existing headparts formlist such as headpartsHighElf, but that will give you high elf eyes. To get rid of the mouth part, you do this. Click on "Misc Malemouthkhajiit" to highlight it Then click on the box above it on "Face MaleHeadKhajiit" Then Click back on "Misc Malemouthkhajiit" and hit the delete key. the mouth should be gone. but now you need to add a new one. Go to headparts and type "mouth" into the filter (keep your race window open) then literally drag and drop the mouth part.
  4. You'll need a headparts formlist for your custom race. just create a new one and drop your race into the list. (Under Miscellaneous/formlist) Then import Nuska's Ohmes Raht head (if you already haven't) under character/headpart. in Valid races in headparts window for the head you've imported, you choose the headpart formlist for your custom race. then you should be able to select that head in your race window. I hope you could follow that.

  6. That's probably because it's not a Tropical Edition. Also you should do what I do. I have all my mods from the Nexus folder backed up on external drives/thumb drives so if my HDD died or something, I have them backed up and don't have to try and remember what mods I had and such.
  7. Not as out of place as that one guard voice with the Bristol-ish accent. I also think Inigo is an excellent follower. Had him and Vilja as followers at the same time. No incompatibilities between them that I could see.
  8. Could be the Deadly Mutilations mod. you've got the update installed, but not the core file (That is what it looks like from your mod load-out). The update might not be the full mod, so I'd suggest installing the core and see what happens.
  9. Best companion mod right now is probably Vilja http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26393//? Her voice acting is pretty good, and you get a quest line with it. Unfortunately, she is the only good voice in this mod. All the others (quest NPC's) range from okay, to just terrible. If you're looking for a good male companion mod, then good luck. I can't recall any that are even close to being as in-depth as Vilja. And just use the Nexus Mod Manager. It's good at handling most mods with just a few clicks.
  10. This HAS to be used somewhere in a mod. I wonder why it was never implemented in the vanilla game? perhaps there's some unforseen bugs with it.

  13. Personally I'd like more unique male follower mods. But if you want to make someone unique in a female follower, then don't make her eye candy like so many others do. Make her a less commonly used race in follower mods, such as Orc, Dunmer or Argonian.
  14. Divide and conquer. Skyrim is part of the Empire. If it leaves, then both sides are weaker than the whole. "with the clock ticking on the Dominion's other conquests such as Hammerfell the sooner the better." Hammerfell successfully drove out the Thalmor five years after the war ended between the Empire and the Dominion. There are no significant Aldmeri forces in Hammerfell at this time, if any. " If the Empire wins the Thalmor win" The Thalmor are trying to keep the war going for as long as possible. Keep the region unbalanced. If the Empire win, then the Empire wins. Ultimately the Empire is at a forced peace with the Aldmeri Dominion that won't last. Unless something drastic happens, then the Empire, nor the other states will be able to withstand the Dominion. The best bet that Ulfric can hope for, is that when the Dominion fight the Empire again, that by the time the Empire falls, the Dominion are too weak to continue into Skyrim. Of course if the Empire falls then Skyrim will be surrounded from Cyrodiil, Morrowind and High Rock. They kidnapped Thorald, because they didn't want the Stormcloaks winning too easily. In truth without the Dragonborn's help, neither the Empire detachment in Skyrim, or the Stormcloaks are strong enough to do anything about the other. They are at a stand-off. The fact is that the Empire (High Rock, Cyrodiil, Skyrim, Morrowind, and formerly Hammerfell) couldn't withstand the might of the Dominion. Something had to be done, and Titus Mede II made the wrong choice, giving them too much power within the Empire's borders. Another thing is, that it happens to be Ulfric and the Stormcloaks, who are leading the revolt. They are the same as the Thalmor in so many ways. They see other races as inferior, and have a superiority complex that rivals that of the Thalmor.
  15. You've got ambition, I'll give you that. If you're going to pull this off, then you're going to need a whole lot of people who already know how to sculpt heads, how to use .tri files, animations, etc. Or it'll take YEARS to complete, if it even gets past the planning stage. By your post, I don't think you fully comprehend the task you have set out for yourself. I wish you luck, because it does sound interesting.

  20. You said in your last post that you added gates to both entrances. This might cause severe issues with the travelling cart mods out there. That being said, I like the idea of having the village upgradeable. Though your idea of why it's been developed is off. Tullius never seiged the stormcloak city of Whiterun. Whiterun is neutral until Ulfric attacks it. A better story is that after Helgen an imperial stronghold is destroyed by the dragon, they send folks to upgrade Riverwood. But then you have the problem of Gerdur (Who owns the mill), who's brother/cousin is in the Stormcloak army and is a stormcloak sympathiser to some degree. Anyway, I originally came by to offer my voice for some characters. (My Khajiit voice sounds better in my head, and I'm not really happy with it.)
  22. That might be difficult or impossible to do. My guess is that it's all hardcoded and cannot be changed. Even when in third person, the map marker shows the position of the camera and not the player.
  23. If you plan on releasing this as a mod, make sure that when you add new textures DON'T use the full file path. You remove everything before the textures folder file path. (eg. textures\armor\fur\m. nothing should be before that) This is only important if you want to release it later as a mod though as not everyone has the same file path outside of skyrim.
  24. Just found out about this mod (and the whole beyond Skyrim thing) recently. I was just wondering, that considering that Talos worship is banned, will you be making the Talos Chapel in Bruma a chapel of Kynareth or something?
