  1. Can't really compare DA2 to FO4 but whatever floats I suppose. Only thing I dislike about the game and it's something that the TES and Fallout titles suffer from...the unexplained playing one moment and on the Desktop the next moment. but I really think that has more to do with having to "FO4Edit Clean" .esm's. So much trash gets left behind and it seems the game is built to run with all that trash. But I digress, I'm having a blast with it I just need to remember to save often. It's to bad the game can't save on an unexpected CTD if you can really call them ctd's. it's like having someone walk by your room and flip the light switch. There really aren't THAT many that hate Fallout 4 they are just louder and more vocal then those that are spending their time enjoying the game. and most of the time I doubt it actually has anything at all to do with the game itself because ALL games get the same treatment from mostly the same people.
  2. instead of having anything constructive to say lets all just hate on Bethesda some more, because isn't that what all threads are for?
  3. .28 secs looks like some sort of scuba gear, enclosed helmet with an air tank on his/her back. .49 secs looks like a new type of "Light" power armor, the backpack has a fusion core inserted sideways on top. next scene looks like a gaff hook can be used as a weapon. 1.08 looks like a Nick V. look-a-like with vacuum tubes sticking out of head and shoulders. and I noticed at .38 secs she's got a bucket hat on, bobber and hooks inserted :)
  4. This thread is unbelievable, and get off the "entitled" retoric it's old and it's BS and doesn't belong here or anywhere else. I make mods, I don't charge for them, I don't expect to get paid for them and I don't have an ego the size of mount olympus that would dictate I charge for them. People are not entitled to anything I make and no one has ever acted as if they are. the "entitlement" thing started long ago because people couldn't think of anything better to say when they knew they were loosing an argument. paying for a mod isn't going to make it work, you paid for Skyrim how did that work out for you? and then comes DLC with well over 1000 dirty edits combined how did paying for those work out? It's bad enough Bethesda relies on modders to fix and/or make the game actually work but now they want even more money for work they are not doing. oh and by the way. don't forget to declare your mod earnings on your taxes. Bethesda and Valve will declare there 75%. as little as it might be it is considered income.
  5. It doesn't matter if your based in the US or not, nor if your laws are different. if the media company wants you they will get you period. Take a look at megaupload or the pirate bay, nether were based in the US but were taken down by the US and there respective countries were forced to give them up. Granted converting something like a Oblivion mesh to Skyrim is small potatoes but thats how it gets started. Ever wonder why you don't hear anything about Morroblivion anymore? Bethesda is part of a larger media company, instead of asking your question here, ask Bethesda itself. They would know better then anyone here.
  6. This seems to handle scripts much differently then OBMM, many mods that work with OBMM will not with NMM. Script errors stack 20 deep at times much like how the CS does on some things then crashes. Not sure if this was meant for win7 64bit or not but in my case it does not work. But it is still in the early stages of testing so I wasn't expecting the MM to end all MM's :)
  7. Sometimes I regret ever posting (My Opinion) because I know someone is going to try and bait/troll trying to get others to think the way they do/have the same opinion they do. Number 1. I don't care what Bethesda did or didn't do to FO3, or ESIV Oblivion/Morrowind I play them. Number 2. I don't care what Obsidian did or didn't do to FONV. I play it I don't look to a game company to make THE game to end all games, or have the know how to do so. I look to that games Community to breath new life into whatever game I play, which the Tesnexus community has done so well for a good long time. If Steam annoys me, so be it-it's my opinion not yours. If you have a different opinion then your welcome to it. But stop being so judgmental of others not sharing YOUR opinion.
  8. Well considering there's no free roam when the story is done, to me it wasn't worth the price. All in all the game is good, even with it's quirks. My biggest complaint would have to be, having to start all over once you finish the story. But I guess this is the actual END of the Fallout series. I find steam to be an annoyance at times but if that's what it takes to keep the morons from completely ripping off the games then so be it. It actually seems more like a HUD for advertising then anything else. But then that's just my opinion.
  9. Well it looks like I'm going to be the only one disappointed, game play is nice for the most part, the wasteland looks a little recycled but that's not a biggie. What disappoints me about the whole thing is the triggers in the game when things happen your left clueless as to them happening. Example: Your to clear some ghouls from a site, go to site help ghouls with there problem to get them to leave, while doing that you encounter a talking super mutant and now your helping him and then you encounter a ghoul not with the other ghouls but he too needs help so you help him find his "Female" friend. Now for the triggers part...While searching for the stash of stealthboys, "so the super mutants will leave" and the ghouls female friend the only ghoul you find is dead "but nothing tells you it's the one your looking for (and I guess female ghouls don't have chest bumps)" then you find a computer terminal that tells of the stealthboys but that there no longer at this site, so you head back to let the super mutant know this. as soon as you enter the area where the ghoul is supposed to be waiting to hear of his friend he starts shooting and you end up having to kill him, the moment you click on the super mutant to let him know of the stealthboys he goes ape**** on you and you either kill him or die but no dialog what so ever, no nothing. The only on-screen I got said to head back and tell Richardson "The talking Super Mutant" about the stealthboys. I don't know maybe I'm just used to FO3's style of doing things. But you can sure tell Bethesda didn't make the game. Anyway this is only a first impression, that may or may not change but I know the community will make it better if there so inclined. Don't get me wrong, I still like the game, I'm just nit picky LOL.
  10. Seems Google still has the site listed, the warning comes up in Firefox and Chrome but not in IE 9. Googles Diagnostics page lists a couple domains of malware hosting as the culprits of where this came from, one is called blacktreegaming the other is just an IP. there tests are over the past 90 days so says the diag. page anyway.
