  1. Creating a mod like the one you're envisioning would indeed be a significant undertaking, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility for experienced modders, especially those familiar with Skyrim's creation toolkit. Let's break down the various components of your idea and how a modder might approach them: 1. Alternative Ending to March of The Dead a. Scripting an Alternative Path Restraining Falx Carius: The modder would need to script an alternative path where, instead of killing General Falx Carius, the player can restrain him. This would likely involve creating new dialogue options and scripting new actions for the player and Falx Carius. Intervention Scene: After restraining him, an intervention scene would be scripted where the player can interact with Falx Carius to calm him down. This would require creating new dialogue and potentially new animations or scenes. b. Character Development PTSD and Shock: To portray Falx Carius as someone suffering from PTSD and shock, the modder might need to create custom animations, facial expressions, and dialogue lines to reflect his mental state. Healing Process: The modder would need to script a healing process where Falx Carius gradually recovers from his trauma. This could involve a series of quests or events where the player helps him heal. 2. Falx Carius as a Follower a. Follower Mechanics Follower AI: The modder would need to develop a custom follower AI for Falx Carius, allowing him to follow the player, engage in combat, and interact with the environment. Custom Dialogue: Creating custom dialogue for Falx Carius would involve writing new lines and potentially recording new voice lines (or using text-based dialogue if voice acting is not possible). b. Marriage Option Marriage Mechanics: To make Falx Carius marriageable, the modder would need to add him to the potential spouses faction and create custom marriage dialogue and scenes. 3. Visual Touch-Up Character Model: Giving Falx Carius a visual touch-up could involve creating new textures, meshes, or even a completely new character model to reflect his changed state. Animations: New animations might be created to give Falx Carius unique gestures, expressions, and movements. 4. Testing and Debugging Testing: Before releasing the mod, extensive testing would be required to ensure compatibility with the base game and other mods, and to debug any issues that arise. Debugging: The modder would need to fix any bugs and issues identified during testing to ensure a smooth and immersive experience for players. 5. Distribution Distribution: Once the mod is complete, it would be distributed through platforms like Nexus Mods, with a version specifically for Skyrim Legendary Edition (LE). Community Engagement: The modder might engage with the community to gather feedback and make further improvements to the mod based on player suggestions. 6. Collaboration Collaboration: Given the complexity of this mod, the modder might collaborate with other modders to divide the work and bring different skills to the project. It sounds like a rich and rewarding storyline that would add depth to Falx Carius' character and offer players a more nuanced and empathetic approach to his narrative. It would definitely be a valuable contribution to the Skyrim modding community!
  2. I notice this one is like not touched. But, I quite liked the aesthetic of Dwemer armour in Oblivion.
  3. I'm having the issue where Commander Lo'deri and Onmund are just standing there silently, not even facing each other and I'm trapped in a damn cutscene. Apologies for 'necroing' a several months old forum post (If this even counts?), but I've put up the issue elsewhere and waited. And literally no one could say that they'd had the same issue happening to them, so...I guess I'm just trapped in the cutscene, forever doomed to wait for Onmund and Lo'deri to actually start talking? Yup. Guess so.
  4. The problem is still here. Near the end of 2017. In Vault 88 specifically....Oh, how that burns my ass.... The white void. The Purgatory. Eeek.
  5. Hi there. I'm on the spot where you need to activate Milton's Detonator, but it's not physically there for me. The quest marker is clearly up, it leads to it and everything. But the actual detonator above ground is NOT there. I have no idea what to do about this.
