I can't really remember this,since last time I've done TG quests was 1 year ago, but don't you have to wait for a specific time before you get back to him or something?

Well, go back if you really want, Oblivion is still a fun game (modded of course). The game isn't that buggy and it rarely crushes (crashed 2 times for me in 2 weeks). So yeah, if you want and got nothing else to play, I'd say go for it.

I've downloaded the mod and checked it by myself. There is a chest behind that building. I have lots of mods installed and the latest patch as well. I can only suggest you to download BOSS: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/20516

Do you have any other mods installed? Also did you patch Oblivion to the latest version?

I believe he just disappears from the game, Like Dr Li at the end of Fallout 3 at the Purifier. You can visit various areas, and find the Talon Company attacking you as part of contracts, and on several of them that you come across, the contract is signed as "Mr B" - Suggesting it's Mr Burke. You are right, I just read on the wiki and it does actually say that he vanishes from the game.

You definitely aren't the only one. Lots of people play Oblivion and even Morrowind. I play Oblivion from times to times but Morrowind never since I don't have it installed on my pc ^^
