  1. All armors and weapons can be enchanted and disenchanted by default. If you add the MagicDisallowEnchanting keyword to it, you won't be able to enchant or disenchant that item. To make an item upgradable, you need to give it a material keyword (e.g. ArmorMaterialSteel or WeapMaterialSteel respectively) and you should be able to upgrade it with whatever material you specified. I may be wrong though (you might have to actually make a recipe, I don't remember), so if someone could correct me that'd be great.
  2. I've added bBlockMessageBoxes=1 to the [MESSAGES] section just because of all of these warnings. They don't matter unless they're directly related to something you've made.
  3. I'm having this exact same issue. It seems Khajiit don't have a problem with their eyes, just Human races. This also seems to apply to vanilla characters...
  4. I am always running Steam and my games in administrator mode, including CK. Just got the heck of it I tried running them without admin privileges and nothing changed there.
  5. No updates that I'm aware of, and I've set the Skyrim directory to be excluded from my antivirus... I was just using it a few months back, I don't know why it's suddenly decided to stop working now. I did a fresh reinstall of all of my steam games a little while ago, so that's probably part of it.

  7. Yes, I understand that, but how can I fix it? It's not an issue with my code, since I haven't even gotten to the point where I can write anything. This error prevents me from even making my own scripts to begin with.
  8. Do you mean the scripts in Scripts.rar? I extracted those, yes.
  9. Every time I go to make a new script, Windows pops up with "PapyrusCompiler has stopped working." After that, a Papyrus error pops up with: Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path1 at System.IO.Path.Combine(String path1, String path2) at PCompiler.Compiler.Assemble(String asObjectName) at PCompiler.Compiler.Compile(String asObjectName, String asFlagsFile, Boolean abOptimize) at PapyrusCompiler.Program.CompilerThread() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() Never had this problem before, not sure why I am now. I've tried validating and reinstalling fresh versions of both Skyrim and Creation Kit to no avail. --- Edit (9/18/19) Solved! It seems that sometimes, the Papyrus Compiler simply doesn't have permission to access certain critical files. Play around with the install locations of Skyrim and the CK; move them outside of Program Files, and ideally to an entirely different drive. Also, make sure to run the CK is administrator mode, just in case.
  10. (Bump) If it's not possible, the only thing I can think of is to make the enemies level up with with the player like a follower would. Either that or have and enemy detect the player's level and replace itself with a stronger variant, which I don't think would work for things like ambushes.
  11. wyvern are the dragons in skyrim look it up on the net they are not dragons Ah, okay. Wyverns are a type of dragon according to most descriptions, but I see your point.
  12. You mean with the forelegs and all of that? Skyrim's dragons look like the one in the second picture, so I would assume that both interpretations of the mythical creature are accurate.
  13. I'm trying to make an encounter zone that updates its level to match the player's level, even after they've already entered it. Resetting cells don't cause such an update. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing this?
  14. I'm having a few more issues with it, but I think I just need to fiddle with it for a while and I'll be good. Thank you very much for your help! :D
