  1. One of my favourite Skyrim mods is Vigilant, an interesting feature from it is every boss or mini-boss tier enemy would drop an item, I forget the exact name but it was something like "Fragment of Molag Bal" or "Fragment of Cold Harbor" It essentially worked like a spell tome, and would give you the ability to summon that boss/mini-boss in combat. I was hoping for something similar to be expanded into the main vanilla and DLC aspects of Skyrim. Or in the very least, on the more prominent or notable humanoid bosses from a questline. e.g. Mercer Frey and Arcano. Alternatively, an option to summon a new version of their corpse to use as a thrall (unfortunately Vigilant didn't have a cap on summoning the same boss multiple times which ruined the immersion for me personally) I've seen mods that do the same with Named Dragons, but I'm unsure on if there are any other mods that do similar to a more expanded arsenal. If there are any others, I'd be interested in seeing them.
  2. I'm an avid fan of Legacy of the Dragonborn and so I use that Safehouse as my playerhome above all other playerhomes, but recently I wanted to get a "pocket house" for when I was unable to gain access to my player home for extended periods of time (such as Cold Harbor in Vigilant) where I can summon an enterance or something similar to said dimensional/pocket home, deposit items into and continue on my adventure without having to worry about Encumbrance as much. After sifting through the mods meeting these specifications for the SSE version of Skyrim I came across https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21405 which is what I'm using currently. Though my problem with it is I dislike how empty it is inside, so I made this Tent the new home of several followers. For immersion purposes I like to roleplay that this tent is more of a Hub for adventurers to call upon and rest, similar to how I would. Though given how the tent is catered more towards a Player as opposed to NPCs or Followers it's immersion breaking knowing it is a place with a single bed and other resources only I as a player would really gain use from. With that in mind, I'm hoping for some kind of modded "player home" that allows me to summon/teleport to it, and back to my original location, and instead of being designed based around the player I'd want it to have the theme of more of a dimensional tavern, where adventurers who can access it gather. (Which I'd substitute by making it the home of many followers to make it feel lived in) And instead of a full work station involving all things expected of player home, the player's "bedroom" is just like every other bedroom inside the average tavern, with the only needed resource being a place to store my items. I know using a mod like this is essentially game breaking as I'm bypassing my carry weight but I'm hoping that without workstations it would "balance" things out. And that I'd still need to return to my real home should I desire to properly upgrade my gear and equipment. Essentially the whole idea is it's not the "players" home it is a home the player can take refuge in.
  3. Not exactly what you're looking for but there's a list of summonable houses here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3uy9lr/player_homes_like_haven_bag/ Though this list is for the LE edition so you won't find a SE version of all of them.
  4. I'm not sure on what the exact limitations are with Skyrim modding but I've been curious to know if a Nemesis system similar to the Shadow of Mordor/War games has ever been attempted and how well it could fit into Skyrim. For those unfamiliar with this system, it has special enemies known as "Captains" who would evolve with the player through a play through by getting stronger, weaker and becoming reoccuring characters all while still being randomized generic enemies (to an extent), who could learn and adapt from the player, flee, occasionally return from death and a variety of other things such as scars or other severe injuries. Even non-special characters can become a captain if a generic non-special Orc was to kill you in combat. I'm unsure how well Skyrim could handle having the player come back from death and likewise for enemies but I thought the idea of having enemies (I can assume only bandits could realistically fit this role) reappearing in future dungeons or camps with a name or title from a list might make for a more personalized experience for Skyrim. Being ambushed out in the wild by a familiar yet aggressive face would certainly add a bit of charm.
  5. I had originally written this up as wanting to see Guards use magic or Mages working alongside the guards and decided to open the concept more of something to invest in. One thing that dissapoints me about the guards in Skyrim is that all of them use the same low level equipment, a sword-shield and a bow. I can't expect every Guard of Skyrim to be a 'master of the arcane' however I feel at least some lower level spells should be known. It seems like the Jarls of each hold are recruiting bandits with how terrible they are at, well, guarding. I'd even argue the NPCs of cities can be more combat ready than the guards. Plus I think seeing a few more fireball spells in the air during a dragon attack would be welcome. I have a few ideas for improving a Hold's Guard 1. Speaking to the Jarl's mage about teaching or providing assistance in training the guards. Through the use of finding specific books (spell tomes or skill books) or (more lazily) paying gold. Repeatable steps to help improve the guards Magicka and learn additional spells. 1.5? If teaching guards spells seems unrealistic perhaps recruit Mages to integrate into their ranks 2. Speaking to the Jarl/Jarl's Housecarl/Commander of the cities guard/Advisor about donating to improving their training to improve their combat skills, provide them with a superior weapon arsenal and increase the number of Patrols outside of the city. (Without a mod for it, the guard patrols can be rather rare) 2.5 I would assume many would not want the appearance of the guard's armor to change, I have no idea if this is possible but instead of changing their armor perhaps have their armor be improved upon like at a workbench 3. Since Winterhold is rather unfriendly to Mages you might have to persuade them to accept help from the College of Winterhold and have (Generic NPC) Students join the Guard in College attire.
  6. I tried messaging the original author asking if he could about a week ago (I think) but I haven't gotten any responce. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7398306-port-improved-white-phial-to-sse/
  7. I've made several threads there in the past and I don't think I've ever seen a thread there with more than 3 replies.
  8. One of the mods I used to enjoy when I played the Legendary edition of Skyrim was Improved White Phial https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=312432459&searchtext=white+phial There are other white phial mods for SSE but none of them (to my knowledge) reproduce the effect seen in this mod, which gave full freedom to allow you to change the type of potion the White Phial replenishes with in-game, modded and player made potions, poisons and other beverages (or even items if you didn't feel like being immersive) as many times as you desired. It would also allow the ability to either drink directly from the white phial or bottle the contents, giving you spares while the phial refills. I don't have the best experience with modding, so I'm hoping this wouldn't cause compatibility issues with Legacy of the Dragonborn.
  9. Maybe with an I.O.U system where NPCs expect a payment in return for a set amount of time.
  10. When stealing an item and are caught by someone with a friendly disposition I've often heard the phrase "You could've just asked.", but we don't get that option. I'm not wanting an over powered mod but just something for immersion purposes. Perhaps similar to how you ask a follower to do something, it could work similar, asking if you can take something resulting in the NPC using a generic "Sure" or "No" voiceline, and if successful it changes the items property from being able to "steal item" to "take item". I know if you're friends with certain NPCs the game does this automatically for items but maybe it's that one book you've been looking for that has a slightly higher value than what the game would let you take freely or just a really generic low level weapon or other item.
  11. Would be interesting for a realistic needs and diseases style mod or playthrough.
  12. Might make more sense functionally to just have a "Change to Thrall" spell that just extends their time duration to a Thralls. At least I think that would work as a universal spell across modpacks.
  13. Not sure if that's what I'm after but I'll try your mod out when that gets added.
  14. Is it possible to make a mod in which I can turn time limited conjuration spells into thrall variants? Obviously it's not hard to create an additional spell to turn the vanilla conjuration spells into thralls but what I'm hoping for is a mod that can be used with conjuration summons added by other mods to make them thralls. e.g. permanent summons. At least in my experience conjuration spells added by other mods typically don't have a secondary thrall version for their summons and that is what I'd want to have without the need for compatibility patches.
  15. Is there any mods that make you see clearly underwater? I'm using a ENB and when underwater my vision is entirely gone unless I'm right up close to something. I've never been a fan of the whole underwater obscures vision thing, if there are any mods that completely disables that allowing you to see underwater as you would outside of water I'd love to use it. Not sure if relevent but I play as Argonian. EDIT: Here's what it looks like
  16. Sorry but I'm not good with manual downloads, at least not yet. Any help?
  17. For the record, I'm not sure how easy this would be to make. But I'd like a mod which allows me to disenchant all magical items I come across, daedric, unusuals, one of a kinds or etc. I understand this would probably be extremely overpowered with some enchants, so for obvious reasons. the only real way I can think to balance such a thing would be to prevent players from disenchanting player made enchants otherwise you'd probably end up with 50+ enchants on a single weapon. The part that I doubt would be easy to make or maybe even impossible would be if I could disenchant modded weapons also. I use Ordinator and Legacy of the Dragonborn so there's a lot of added unique weapons and Ordinator prevents me from losing the item upon disenchantment.
  18. Lorewise it's actually written about there being a specific type of Lycanthrophy that effects Argonians turning them into something more akin to Crocodiles. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Werecrocodile
  19. Similar to my first mod request https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6578446-blessings-of-x-upon-you/ The idea for this mod is to be immersive and lore (and law) friendly. As you've probably experienced before there are events that can happen in a town such as Thugs coming up to "teach you a lesson" and all the guards ignore it. There's likely more examples of this but I forget those off the top of my head. There are other mods out there in which Guards will automatically be hostile to them but it can kinda ruin the experience a little. Espically since it'd mean them risking their life and neck for some random nobody. More immersively I think you should have to gain a power for each hold. Requirements are to become Thane in the very least as then Guards would have more reason to protect you as part of their hold. My idea is a power, maybe even a modified shout without using the thu'um which causes nearby guards to come to assist you. To balance this out you'd probably need certain requirements for these enemies. Such as the player not having a bounty or currently going on a killing spree. Along with the enemies actually being undesirables rather than someone with authority such as yourself. I could easily see people figuring out how to get Whiterun guards to attack Jarl Bulgriff. Title is a reference to the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged Pharoh's Throne video.
  20. Now you've got me wondering if there's a Felix Argyle mod.
  21. Apologies, I assumed it worked exactly the same.
  22. Any mods I should be aware of? I upgraded or rather got an entirely new computer recently and finally bothered to check out Nexus modding as I used to use Oldrim's steam workshop. LotD was the first mod I went with from the Nexus.
