  1. In response to post #45919900. #46247240, #46277425 are all replies on the same post. i had this problem not related to nexus at all, the malware redirecting me to scam sites and pasting ads over webpages i knew didnt have any in my case it was installing itself in my chrome brwoser extensions, so a fresh install of chrome and a pruning of suspicious folders in my .appdata folder and liberal use of malwarebytes scanning fixed it for me malware is smart, it will hide in your browser where things cant find it easily, and itll do stuff to your browsing experience making you think something wrong with the site when your browser is infected
  2. ive never had a problem with the ads on nexus, one day there was a post on the nexus site that said "we fixed the intrusive ads so please turn off your adblock" and guiltily i did turn my adblock off for nexus realising i was taking money away from my favourite site, and since then i have never had a ad that expanded to block the screen or play audio or do anything annoying all the ads have been unobtrusive so far so i dont regret turning off adblock for nexus at all, most of the ads i see are even for charities or causes such as adoption so thats nice to see maybe thats just the ad companies profiling me though
  3. i would just like the ugly zombiefied falmer to be more like just blind snow elves.....no need for skimp, just dont want the poor sad falmer to be so ugly
  4. oh thanks for saving the dawn of war mods, they get hard to track down and if i got a new pc id need to find them to reinstall them all, if the mods on filefront vanished i would be pretty screwed
  5. since you changed ad providers ive noticed much better ads, no scam ones about "with this one trick make $700 an hour" or "cure your diabetes with this one trick!" wich i am very glad for, the scam ones will just take someones money, but the false medical claims could kill someone Now the ads i see are a lot of ones for good organizations like hospitals telling people to vaccinate or red cross ads or nice ads from charity organizations for schools and things, nice friendly ads that nobody could be upset by, or more normal things like mortgage loans from banks, none of them intrusive either so whoever you switched to is much better with their ads, i approve seriously reccomend whatever ad company you have to all the other sites, because for once i dont even feel a need to to turn adblock on
  6. ive had my adblocker off for this site ever since you posted about it and i realised it was on, i felt so guilty, you guys deserve the miniscule amount of support that having ads on your website gets you it also reminded me to turn off adblockers for other sites i enjoy and trust, so dont worry about unsexy posts, they are still very important
  7. In response to post #23942484. #24078794 is also a reply to the same post. no thats crazy bramford, did you give your credit details to nexus? then how would they get any of your money? magic? the nexus is amazing but i dont think the nexus staff have magic powers to take your money when you click the endorse button seriously people need to think a little bit, if you could make someone pay for clicking a button every link on every website ever would do that, you hit the google button? thats $5 but no of course it doesnt work like that, endorsing a mod is like liking a video on youtube, but on the nexus you can sort mods by how many endorsements they have (likes) its just a feature to make finding good mods easier whoever told you endorsing a mod makes you pay for it is an asshole and a liar
