  1. Try installing Wrye Bash, run it and then simply dragging the said plugin to the bottom of the load order. Super simple fix and set Vortex to not auto change the load order. Besides the fact that you will most likely need Wrye bash for a bashed patch this will allow you to modify the load order with drag and drop while running it from Vortex. Vortex takes a bit to learn but will handle most of the load order for you just like LOOT does, then running Wrye Bash will alow for simple drag and drop load order changes that if Vortex has not been set to auto load order will not change the order. While Vortex could have implemented drag and drop it did make using Loot or Wrye Bash easy to use and honestly you should be using a bashed patch for any mix of different weapon mods and such especially if playing Fallout 4. In time I am sure Vortex will surpass the need for LOOT to be installed separately since it uses LOOT in the auto function and honestly why not use Vortex's auto function and just use Wrye Bash to make and keep up your bash patches while allowing you to drag and drop the order you need as a final touch before running the bashed patcher. Hope that helps
  2. For those of you who are complaining about Vortex, take a second to realize just how fast they worked on this new mod manager. While NMM and MO were good mod managers they were far from perfect and yet they both had advantages of using them. Now here is were Vortex is shining, it is far easier to implement Loot and Wyre bash than MO was and well NMM was not so good at it. It took me about 20 minutes to install both Loot an Wrye bash and figure out how to access them without ever leaving Vortex and mind you using Loot and Wyre bash allow you to modify load order easily. Now here gain Vortex uses Loot as a way to modify load order as well as a tool to set correction itself of how a mod should load. I allways think it is funny how people hate change even if the change does make there life easier, do not make that mistake and you will see that Vortex is going to be a lot easier in the long run. Give Vortex a chance and take the time to mess around with it. Vortex is still in developement and will eventually have some of the things that will make it even easier to use. I honestly was not expecting much out of Vortex since it was in such a early stage, yes there are some things I wish were there that NMM and MO made available, then again Vortex is a lot more powerful than I expected. Try working with 256 mods on a fresh install and then using a save game from a earlier install. After using Vortex for a day and you should be able play that save easily. Seriously my game ran far longer than it had from a NMM set up that took me tons of effort to figure out and ran for over a week with not one crash in less effort ( 3 hours ) on a new mod manager that I downloaded on the same day. If you do not like Vortex then you must have hated NMM or MO. Oh and one other thing for thought ESL files are supported with Vortex, neither NMM or MO were without some really weired issues. Take a little time to learn what Vortex does and you will begin to like it. Vortex is damn good for a new mod manager and eventually will far surpass NMM and MO give it a chance.
  3. OMG seriously that mod was the best in my view. I still have that mod installed. As for BloodScourge88 you should not have re uploaded, you might end up with some issue for doing so because of about four minutes ago your re upload was taken down. Would like to know why the mod was taken down for in the first place and hope its some simple issue.
  4. And I just finished rebuilding my mods last night and then another update that breaks F4SE related mods again. I am beginning to wonder if this is a strategy on Bethesda's part to ruin F4SE and free mods altogether. Funny though when businesses aggravate its customer base enough they start losing money and eventually fail. Cheer's to you Bethesda for making me decide to never buy your games again.
  5. The sad part is they may actually update a lot more often now pushing these so called paid for mods out like candy. Downside is likely to be the F4SE team not being able to keep up with the constant updates. Seriously Bethesda is pulling some really screwed crap on every one of us forcing the download as a update when its obviously not a update of the game itself. I'm still very angry the files are being stored on my hard drive when they are paid for files that I never bought. That file is likely to end up growing every time they add a new paid for mod that I do not want. That's blackmailing my usage of my hard drive even after I have paid for the game. There is no reason we should have to manually delete these files to keep space down every update. They could have made it a pay item and then made it downloadable the normal way, Seriously Bethesda !
  6. The sad part is everyone who opted out of beta still got the update anyways. "NO CHOICE JUST BAMM IM USING 2 GIGs OF YOUR HARDDRIVE SPACE AND TO USE IT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT" from Bethesda for everyone. I already paid for the game and now a moment of utter silence "SCREW YOU BETHESDA". No I do not feel any better just really peeved, seriously they could have given us a downloaded Store if we wanted it but as usual they just stick it to us.
  7. And then to top it all, somebody said they can extract the bsa files and have the new paid assets anyways. Looks like a really dumb___ screwup for Bethesda yet again. Seriously I have no need or want for Bethesda storing any file on my hard drive that I'm not able to use especially since I have already paid for the game anyways. I surely don't want some 2Gig plus file taking up space on my hard drive that's not usable unless I pay extra money for it, kinda sounds like " Hey consumer, I'm going to store a growing in size file on your rig that you cant use unless you pay for it?????" Can you say blackmail on your hard drive???
  8. mm you still didnt get it, there storing it on your rig using your file space to use every update whether you buy those assets or not. Thats what makes it hilarious, charging you for your harddrive space even if you don't buy it to use. Can you imagine just how large of a file that might turn out to be???????????????????
  9. Does this really make any since to pay for what we can get for free because of some really talented individual's effort's. Seriously the creation kit is free, not so much for some of the programs that are used to make some of the best work I have seen. Here again notice I said the talented mods offer their work for free on the Nexus and yet they do buy those program's to help with the creativity. If Bethesda had done themselves what other talented individuals created then this might actually make since, but we can not even get updates that fix something without breaking another. No way I will pay for something that you can not guarantee will actually work without breaking something or worse yet ruin the game entirely. This seems more like what you will have to expect in your future, paying for anything and everything because they can not provide themselves what the modding community offer's. Seriously we already paid for the game that had "a lot" of bug's that they still have not fixed entirely, now they want us to pay for mod's too? Wake up.
  10. Make sure that you check any sound mixer's other than your windows sound mixer. That is what I ran into with Windows 10 and Nvidia's sound mixer, which made my game sound like I was in a box going 100 miles and hour in the back of a pick up. It was a matter of resetting the mixer settings for my N'vidia sound panel. Hope this helps !
  11. Just letting youguys know that NMM has been hammered with people logging in to get mods and update old mods. They were not ready for the volume of access, give it a little time, or wait and try at different times till the load slows down and you will be able to log in. Good luck and have fun!
  12. Ok tried loggin in like Dweedle said in post above and woot it worked , thank's Dweedle!
  13. Wow 2 week's now it has been a nightmare trying to log in and when I try it will not keep me logged in. I can not download a mod at all and it took a round about way to download and Install NMM. I have recently had to do a restore on my Aurora computor and there is no reason I should have any of these issue's with your sight. It is almost as if your sight had been hit with a virus of some kind, I do not have any issues with any other websights except your's at the moment. Please, I love Skyrim and really enjoy having your sight as my mod supplier, fix whatever issue's your having. By the way seems a recent Java update for 64bit systems was a complete failure {was not compatible with Window's 7 or 8} the reason I had to do a restore on my comp, hope this is not the issue you have .
