The only idea I had was a percentage system. By that I mean that you pay the nexus a certain amount, either monthly or one shot and at the end of the month the money is split between the mods you have downloaded and endorsed, perhaps also giving a cut to Bethesda. This would take a lot of the pressure people when deciding how much to give.

i am not surprised by this, apple has been using malign work a rounds ever since they made it big. from patent lawsuits and court room circus antics. i boycot apple products from my life since the fifth? or sixth generation ipod. they are abhorrent as a company. but unfortunately they have an image that is rock solid amongst the general public. the problem with apple is that they have no moral guidelines and they will do anything they can to screw their competitors and regulations. the worse thing is that people dont realize that every purchase is a "vote" not just for their product but their business practices as well. and in regards to ideas, well they have always had sub par hardware and a ridiculous internal regulations for their software. and lets not get into compatibility. they are deeply dependent on not not only other manufacturers but their competitors as well, if i remember correctly some of apples components are manufactured by samsung! these are also the reason why they indulge in ridiculous cases and actions, because they have a product with very little substance. intuative design and marketing are the only reasons why apple has become successful. in short they've stopped innovating a long long time ago. their image as a brand is all they have left

Hi i tried asking this before but here goes again. i am looking for a quest fix for the house of horrors quest. i entered markath for the first time through the "a night to remember quest" thus the forsworn attack was not properly triggered, and vigilant tyranus is not enabled in the game. i managed to finish the chidna mine quest but i have still not been able to trigger the house of horrors quest no matter what i put into the console, or how many times i have tried different kinds of in game work a rounds. so i am hoping modding can help. i have gone through the change-logs for the unofficial skyrim patch and have not been able to locate anything addressing this bug. the problem is described at uesp its the last bug described i really hope someone can help, and if more information is needed ill try to provide it with more clarity.

@ JanusForbeare i wish you luck and hope you report back here if could get it working, i unfortunately was not wise enough to save my 1.7 esm :wallbash: edit: seems i should have waited before posting,. well that sucks man, they should really have an update prompt especially for a game like skyrim where modding is already a pain to get working, without the constant developer shenanigans :rolleyes:

i am a university student, so it was a part time job,, it still sucks though, i really liked that job. and its never fun being layed off, at least i had some employment, like someone else stated getting a job today even part time is difficult.

@ LUCR4TiV3 well it worked for some reason didn't even get to uninstall it... wizards i guess, but thanks for the help anyway @ Pr3d4d0r you should be more appreciative of the staff and their work they are doing all of this for you for free

ill try but like i stated the problem occurred after the hotfix, so i doubt its my net or a wrong password, NMM is convinced that the servers or either to busy or unavailable

cannot download anything anymore after the hotfix, apparently its not connecting to the server, anyway to rollback?

skyrim in my opinion really needs some sort of "alien" feel to the environment, maybe its because i live in denmark but a lot of skyrim's lands seem familiar to RL lol so yeah volcanoes make em shoot lightning if possible the more unearthly the better

thanks for the reply and your help, i messed around with disabling plugins and curiously found out it was the Sands of Time mod that was causing the problem. i have no idea what in the mod is causing the problems, and i am unsure if it is possible to re install the mod manually since full un-installation is not possible according to the mod author. when i get time later ill try placing it elsewhere on the load order, but i do not think it will work since it is interfering with vanilla textures for some reason. but once again thanks for your help and i will appreciate any idea's you might have

is there anyway to "reset" the default textures? preferably without reinstalling the game

thats the thing i have no idea which mod is making the interference, as it is the deafault blades katana sheath/scabbard that is missing it's textures and thanks for the reply

i have tried everything short of a cleans install for some reason the scabbard of the default blades katana is untextured, i have tried un-installing every single texture mod, and tried loading from a past save up to a two months ago and yet the problem persists... i am about to give up, it is the only item, so far that has become untextured. i have attached my boss log. i really hope someone can help i am getting frustrated...the scabbard looks like a big purple..... phallic object and is quite damaging to any kind of immersion and if i have posted this in a wrong place i apologize in advance

is there any mod out there that fixes the house of horrors quest if you came into markarth by the quest a night to remember and does anyone know where i can get monster mod version 8?
