Same happend to me few months ago, reason: blown and burst mobo capacitors. Exactly the same thing, total freeze, static sound distorsion, keyboard and mouse not working, power off, restart, notning at all, only solution was to cut the power. Mobo last breath... Open your pc case and check it out.

Which version of SKSE you are running? I have skse_1_06_16, and everything runs with no trouble at all. I dont know about latest version, havent tested yet. Try skse_1_06_16, and see if is ok.

My Skyrim needs new gpu, being limited with only 1gb of vram, I desire to play with 2k, 4k textures, more vram can help, but how much would be enough to make things running smooth? To cut story short, I will get straight to the point, I decided to pack my old gpus and send them into retirement ( dust collectors :smile: ), planing to spend 300e for new gpu and more ram + 2x4gb, as for gpu I'm aiming at gtx-660ti-2g, or maybe r9-270-4g or r9-270x-2g. And lets not forget that I'm using cpu amd-760k-be-3.8ghz, reason for these gpu models I mentioned, is because I'm trying to avoid cpu bottleneck as much as possible. Going for gtx-770 or r9-280x or non x, would be a waste of extra money, if there is a bottleneck. Gtx 660ti 2gb: 160-200e depends on model, manufacturer R9 270x 2gb: 155-185e R9 270 4gb 195-215e So what do you think, will extra vram 4gb over 2gb would make much of a difference, or maybe not? Anyone here own these gpu models, I want to hear? Help me decide to make the right choice...

I had the same problem before, but easiest way for you is to simply download "Enb Customizer" and set it to your liking as you see fit. I hope that help you ;)
