  1. I could care less about the argument. I just stated what I bought and the reason behind it. Then I got slammed. If you scroll back I mentioned the fact that Alienware was overpriced and agreed with rhowington that you can save allot of money by building your own. If you can do that successfully then take his advice. That was what I suggested for the topic creator. Don't know how this got off topic, but if it was in anyway my fault then I sincerely apologize for it. Topic creator just shop around and get whatever is the best bang for the buck and to your liking. You know your budget, so just work with that and forget about everything else. I have nothing more to say in this thread other than best of luck.
  2. If there was a contest for making 3 replies in row to yourself you would have won 1st place! (I'm just kidding) I hope your Mod is a great success!
  3. Actually no, you can choose / change from a huge number of custom color variations from the Alienware command center at the push of a button at anytime. Whenever you want. Your not locked into one color or have to do anything manually. Just push a button. There is also, a chrome Alien head that extends out and has glowing eyes that changes color. The eyes change colors depending on what your doing. If you press the head an automated hidden compartment activates and drops down like the landing ramp on the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The cabinet is very futuristic and small in size. It's as quiet as a mouse and you can barely hear it running. As far as overheating goes... I can have the PC on for the entire day and when I touch it anywhere it's ice cold. I also, use my own different monitor, keyboard, mouse and XBOX controller that has nothing to do with Alienware. I don't really care what others think. Hate on Alienware as much as your heart desires. I adore the PC and couldn't be happier. All my friends in real life love it to, so the part about not being able to live it down doesn't apply. Hate on as I enjoy and laugh. It doesn't bother me in the least.
  4. K ENB will still look awesome and be a great choice for what I'm looking for though right?
  5. Thanks very much for your replies! If K ENB is close to Kountervibe then I think I'll give it a try.
  6. Now, that I actually have my hands on it I couldn't be happier. I'm extremely happy with my decision!
  7. I know that Alienware is way overpriced, but I'm simply thrilled with mine. It was money well spent in my opinion. It's literally like a spaceship. I've never seen so much detail put into a machine.
  8. EDIT: I just got Somber ENB Antique - Extreme Version working with maximum textures and meshes. I'm never turning back!
  9. I can relate to you on the mixed reviews. Left me scratching my head. Alienware will run you about $3000.00. I didn't want to take any chances so I just went that route. Like others have said you can probably build an awesome PC yourself for half that price and still do very well.
  10. This is the PC I recently bought. I got it for the same reason you did Dovahking96. I wanted to be able to unlock Skyrim's full potential. Plus have something that would hopefully last awhile and play new games in the future. This PC is defiantly not budget friendly though. Like my dear friend rhowington said you can save allot of money by building your own. If you can do that successfully then take his advice. As for me this is what I decided to get: PC: - Alienware custom built. Premium Liquid Cooling. Processor: - Intel® Core™ i7-4820K Processor. (10M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz). Operating System: - Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit. Memory: - 16GB (4 X 4GB) Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz. Hard Drive: - 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s. Video Card: - NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 690 4GB GDDR5.
  11. I have a great idea.... First, make the switch from Console to PC. Then create this wonderful Mod for all to enjoy.
  12. You defiantly made the right decision by switching from Console to PC. I'm afraid you will have to dig a little deeper in your pockets if you want to truly max out Skyrim to it's fullest potential though.
  13. Would you recommend this for all PC's or just weaker ones?
  14. In your honest opinion what do you think the future holds for Skyrim Mod authors?
