  1. to facilitate our work, ive got some ideas first:intead of modeling some foes we just use what we already have, for example, the twisted machines dont have to be modeled, we can just edit the actual model to the black color. second: the dwemer NPCs we can get from that playable dwemer race mod things like that, files with already done work that can be useful for our beloved mod P.S: the corestone helmet already has his base drawings and going to the final, the final drawing of the whole corestone armor is almost complete, i will update the images soon as possible

Or maybe simply finding books placed in certain dungeons around skyrim (Dwemer/Falmer only though) that starts the quest, with Dwemer letters in it, and then the quest starts which brings you to our fellow Orc, Ugrab Sho-grub or whatever his name was (And yeah, I mean the same orc as you! the librarian) however, it may also be a pain if you haven't joined the mage college yet. You'd need somewhere else to translate it - which could also be another alternative, where you go find another mage, or start the quest even easier - just travel to the location without the book or talking to the librarian. EDIT: I forgot to say what the book would be about, and what it would say. One of the books you'd find could be a diary about a Dwemer that travelled to the city, saying the way there and so on - the other book would simply be a lost letter that never arrived that described the way for the person it was sent to. Other books, letters and possibly stone plates (yeah I know it's a weird idea, but it's something new!) that could trigger the quest. hmmm, good point, so where this other librarian could live? it should be a hard place to get, to add a small chalenge to the player, somewhere in the reach maybe? http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_images/underground/attachicon.gifBlackreachOverhang.jpg Yes. The reach fits very well. He could be an old Dark Elf or a Breton. I'd like it so that you have to run through some forsworn camps to get to him. The Breton/dark elf could be a necromancer of some kind. But anyways, the most important of this mod is to get the modders. I think it's time we start pm'ing good modders that aren't working on too many projects already. The modders on steam workshop would most likely join, since questing is probably the most popular category there. ive sended messeages to some good moders, but only 2 replied, one was psychosteven(the texture dude), and he said that if we know what texture we need he could give us some stuff, but he couldn't participate now.the other one was hot hothrooper44(the modeling dude), and he said that he is too busy right now. the other one was Tyrisbel(the level designer, has a house mod called frostfang manor), but he didnt reply. the last one was matherj117(to make npcs, he has a more npcs mod), and he didnt even read.

  4. lets start the story the first thing is the beggining, and here is what i thougt: the start of the quest is like that: talking with ulgrab-sho grub(the librarian of the college of winterhold), more precisly asking him if he is looking for any special book, and he mention a dwemer tome lost in some dwemer city called blackreach. this first part is a misc quest, but when you go to blackreach and find those tomes in a small dwemer building, you also find a falmer camp with some signs of a excavation cave. boom! quest started! what you guys think?

  10. everyone that follow this topic and now how to make a mod say it, we need people who can work with mods, and most of all:create a questline if you are a modder please report in this topic saying your mod and moding hability so i can make a list of who we have and who can do what thanks

  12. We kinda already realized that... I think there's a group of them infected with Vampirism in Valenwood, but the lore is inconclusive. Oh, nice! Glad to see someone creating a team to work on this! If you could send me some pictures once you got the thing developed, I'd be glad to give my input! actually, there isnt any team, i just started to do the stuff by my own, i just though that we can stop thinking and start doing, because we already got some good ideas here, and we should start the development team, this mod will be really hard to get done, and we need the best results i propose this: we should close the sugestion box and start the development first: we need people with some good experience on 3D moddeling, programers... well, a game design team. second: we should start here in the topic, the questline story, but this time viewing each point of the quest and making a discussion about it until we make our decision i know some people that can help us, they collaborate with digital projects and stuff, but its not certain. i cant access my computer right now so i will work on the art development, when i can, i will scan the drawings just one more thing: tell me what is going to officially enter on the mod and what is not, so i can know what to draw thanks So here's some of what's confirmed: -The city -The Coreforge -The Hive -The Sea of Fire Some more-than-likely possibilities: -The Mine -The Core -Some ancient evil locked away down there -Chaurus Queen -Chaurus Sentinels -A new guild Some "maybe" possibilies: -Firelands -Discontent in the city -Chaurus/Falmer hybrid Some not-so-likely possibilities: -Areas of Hammerfell and Morrowind -Another Elder Scroll (how many of those frickin' things are there?!) the city and the hive can be made with the creation kit, the hive would be a normal dwemer ruin but instead of dwemer machines there is falmer and chauras(a LOT more chaurus), and the city could be a mixture of a markath-like place and instead of sky only rock. the chaurus queen is several for the epicness of the hive, it wouldnt be the same thing without a huge and creepy chaurus with wings and stuff.
  13. new report: ive started the base drawings of the helmet, and the final drawings of the breastplate, ive also added some stuff about the weapons, like the repeater, a crossbow that fire three bolts in a row(not a corestone weapon, it can be forged at any forge and requires the advanced smything perk), the death-star(a flail, also not a coretone weapon and can be crafted at any forge, it requires the steel smything perk)and i am working on a halberd(this one is from the corestone weapons set). also the corestone axe(one-handed) is a little different, it has two blades, one up and one down, and the the dual welding power attack in the player doing a helicopter move with both of the axes(i tought it would be interesting somenthing like a double blade axe like that). thats my report by now, i will try to start moddeling everything, when my computer come back from the fix(only few days left).

  17. so everyone loved the coreforge idea here is the corestone armor set(see previous posts) i didnt did the helmet because im lacking of ideas the chestplate is heavly inspired in the nordic and stalhrim chestplate(both from the dragonborn DLC), nad got some dwemer armor details the gauntlets only have a little bit of the nordic gauntlets, the rest is pure original the boots is a mix of the dwemer boots and nordic boots, it already got some corestone cracks but no ebony details my idea to the helmet are: the front could be somenthing like a dragonpriest mask, but with more colorful textures, like psychosteve dragonpriests masks, the back and the top could be somenthing like the dwemer helmet, and some details from the nordic helmet just great!!! the file is too big to upload, so i will do the following: create a google accont and upload the file to the disk, then i will share the nickname and password so everyone can see it
  18. you dont really expect to make the whole hammerfell AND morrwind territory, do you? first: the hammerfell DLC is already coming second: make hammerfell AND morrowind it would be like make a whole new game! can you afford hours of moddeling NPCs and buildings, voice actors and lore makers... i am not negative, but is f*cking inpossible without the whole bethesda game studios team so, how about no?
  19. so, the new dragon riding thing of the dragonborn DLC is really awesome, but it has some problems: the combat is confuse, the attack button is crazy too(sometimes you order the dragon to attack but he just keep flying around) and it would be useful to make a horse-like riding mode, so people can explore the world around even in the back of a dragon for example, you press capslock to change the riding mode, just like always run, but when you press it, it changes from the combat mode(the present dragon riding) to exploration mode(a horse-like riding), that you can control the dragon to fly to whatever location or direction, and you still could attack with, just press the mouse button and the dragon will shout anyway, and press E while aiming to a location and the dragon will land there and only THERE. why not?

  21. already made the corestone armor drawings, they are extremely shity, and still dont have crakcs on it(i just made the breastplate, the gauntlets and the boots, the boots already have some cracks). the helmet could be somenthing like kohnarik, plus a dwemer helmet. i will upload a scan tomorrow

Perhaps the Library I mentioned on the first post could have a new Black Book that leads to Apocrypha? sure thing, bro! if we are including dragonborn DLC in it, here it is the special picaxe idea: the stalhrim picaxe, the only thing that can break the corestone, it is not craftable and there is only ONE in all nirn! about the core-forgemaster, i thoug about it, i think it should be somenthing disturbing, like a zombie like dwemer ebony-made centurion inspired in the nemesis(resident evil) and the corestone set, it could be a mixture of the stalhrim, nordic carved and dwemer armor structure, with some ebony details and cracks showing some lava carved in stone... dunno
