  1. Hi all, A bit long winded but I think it exists: I'm looking for a mod that changes the way using the mouse to look in conversation behaves. When your talking you have to move the mouse cursor to the edge of the screen before the head moves. When using a controller the stick look is instant, without having to move the cursor back and forth to move your head. So is there a mod out there that removes the need to move the mouse cursor all the way back and forth on the screen edges just to look around? Something that makes the mouse looking behave instantly. The same way it does all the rest of the time outside of conversations. Anything like that? Thanks for any info, Karlor
  2. I tried editing him myself but couldn't figure out how to save it. So I just edited a mod that edited his spells to not have any at all and saved it. Thanks for the tips! Worked like a charm he has no spells unless I teach them to him now.
  3. I love Jzargo but I hate his constant sparks! Anyone have any pointers on how I could edit Jzargo with TES5 Edit or CK to not have ANY vanilla spells pre-set into him(that's the only change I need to make is make them completely blank)? That way I'm thinking if I use the teach spells feature from Amazing Follower tweaks then he'll have a blank slate and I can add in what ever I decide to teach him. If it works I would make mods for blanks slates for all mage followers and upload it for everyone. Mite make having a mage around funner as you can customize their spells much more with the vanilla spells just gone and not messing things up. I understand that if they have no spells BEFORE I make them a follower they wont have any to use but that ok with me(only install when ready to hire). I know there are mods to change BASE spells of followers but they change too much or not enough. This way you can set them up however you wish. (I also understand that while I'm there editing them out I could just edit IN what I want, but I want to make a blank slate and teach them in Game.) Any pointers? I'll do the work unless someone who knows how to do it already could go in and blank out some spells real quick that would be great. Any help would go along way.
  4. Wouldn't you know I finally get set up to take cool screen shots the same day/night Nexus decides to s*** the bed lol Yeah images and image link appear to be broken on all the nexus sites. Tried several PCs and ISPs, its the site. Must be the "update" they're implementing.
  5. Could someone do up the Silver Shroud gun to be either way more silver or chrome? Preferably it would replace just the one you get and not all the machine guns to be chrome. If not maybe just a seperat chrome machine gun that I can just use instead... Pretty please? Black wood and dirty chrome metal for the old girl please some one :)
  6. Can he show me where the treasure is hidden?... I should make a Grubs Tavern for Skyrim lol
  7. Wanted: talented modder or modders that are familiar with how the skeleton works and other tricky technical know how. The mission: create a modified skeleton that can accept motion control input movements for use in virtual reality. A Jim Henson mod. http://i.imgur.com/XUQ5Vf8.png Virtual Reality is on its way and soon. When it comes to a VR experience Fallout has been my favorite. Just the setting, the guns, the gore.. It's great. I know a lot of people don't have a VR head set as of yet. You will, and soon.. ish. Motion control is available now and just needs to find a foot hold and a "standard" of input/output and tracking. Regardless of all that when it does come having a modified skeleton would be incredible. If a skeleton could be created in witch it could take input and become a virtual puppet then Fallout would become a full body experience. For the short term maybe just a modified skeleton to puppeteer the arms. I know it's probably an insane amount of work but it would be legendary. Fallout and Skyrim offer the best possible future VR experiences due to them being so modifiable. Please feel free to leave ideas and comments. I would like to start a discussion concerning this and hopefully, eventually, find a solution.
  8. OK, I have gone as far as I can go with my texture skills. Basically cutting and pasting ;) IF YOU CAN TEXTURE AND WISH TO HELP let me know. Full credit will be given. I also need to figure out how to make the project Nevada overlay not slide as much maybe not at all. VR is going to take the world by storm when it finally hits so having a mod like this ready to go out the gate would be pretty cool. http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/images/130/5488957-1428396416.jpg
  9. Ok I found the texture file for Project Nevada and I did a quick test edit. I basically just "shrunk" the original texture way down so it fits in the Rifts FOV but I didn't change the actual size of the original file. I did just a basic black fill on the now exposed edges and slapped it into Project Nevadas texture file. It works GREAT! It really, really adds to the effect and feeling of being in Fallout. If anyone would like to try it I could send you my test file. Anyway I am not good a texture artist so if you are, this would be an easy job ;) SO PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN TEXTURE! I can worry about getting it to work. Also could someone please help me figure out how to make it not slide or jiggle. This is a big issue especially after tightening up the visor view. The sliding really makes you woozy. Could be the Cazador poison... no.. no it's the jiggling.. This is an extremely easy edit to make and there are around 11-12 versions to complete as far as what Project Nevada has. I can get a basic size set up for each and all that would need to be done then is just some cool bedazzling of the "inside" texture. You could go nuts on each style if you wanted. Fine by me.
  10. Here is 2 pictures. The first has the FOV set to 130. the vanilla FOV is like what 85-90 at most? Any way you can see that your view is less limited when you boost the FOV. Increasing FOV is always a must when your setting up for VR. The next picture is a visual representation of what you see in the rift. The red rectangle is the way way outer most peripheral vision. The only way you can see this area is peripherally. The blue rectangle represents the main "zone" of vision in the Rift while looking forward. The Green oval represents "the sweet spot". Basically the main area your eyes are focused on and also where the distortion is the least. http://i.imgur.com/ndIB8OF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/f9ULolq.jpg
  11. When it comes out its going to blow the lid off a lot of people. Just a concept idea below. Showing padding and HUD integration, I also made the "shrunk" version a little bigger in this one: http://static-8.nexusmods.com/15/images/130/5488957-1428303924.jpg The HUD part might be too tricky for someone to figure out so just doing the smaller more detailed overlay would be good enough. The HUD would send it over the top.
  12. Look guys I don't want to get into a pissing match here. The fact is it's not an accurate representation, especially when inside the Oculus Rift. It's fine the way it is for a flat screen monitor or tv sure. That's not the point here. In the VR environment it doesn't fit rite. Period. I use the DK2 at least 150+ hours with just this Fallout install all in VR. It needs to not jiggle and it needs to be "shrunk" to around the size in the comparison picture. The more narrow version is one that could be played with and mite end up being a lot of fun. Just trust me on this guys it needs to be shrunk and need to not jiggle for when your using the Oculus Rift. I'm not knocking project Nevada it just needs another mod to adapt to VR, that's all.
  13. Like i explained its for when your wearing a VR headset so after all the stretching it wont seem as narrow. It mite take a couple tests to get it aligned right but it needs to be significantly smaller then the normal overlay. As far as visibility out of an "actual" power helmet it would be absolutely crappy. It would be almost unusable for quick reactions, thus the heavy armor so you can soak up some heat until you get them targeted. Sure it could possibly have some tech inside the helmet to increase your situational awareness... Anyway so thats what the extra narrow version could reperesnt over just the "shrunk" version.
