  1. Well, attack animations are nasty business. I suggest you make do with Vanilla animations. Once you've released a version with vanilla animations, you can afford to do new animations. Unless, you're planning to make a splash with animations similar to JS Black's Ghosts mod. +1 support in your endeavour. :)
  2. I think I wrote that wrong... In order to use FOSE with GECK 1.5, you have to use the latest FOSE.
  3. I didn't notice any difference. I mainly did it to update my mod for patch 1.5. My only caveat with it is that it needs the latest FOSE.

  5. I can say from firsthand experience, Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in Indonesia are rarely pinned on global warming. In fact, it's not much of a concern for the people there.

  7. While I don't have a solution, I'd just like to say that you're not alone. Perhaps removing the fake patch might help.

Insta-kill fists Simply put, a lot. :) I would suggest you set up a balancing system like an ammunition system of some sort. For example, in order to use electrical powers, you have to have electronic charge. The higher the power, the more charge you need. The player's body might have a finite daily charge which can be filled by sleeping or "consuming" power sources such as an energy cell. Or perhaps you could use a karma based balance system. The more you use your powers, the more you get karma penalties.

  11. Megu, I suggest you concentrate on making the items and perhaps characters first and the story (if you do want to make quests of it) later. Then release them separately at first then together as a full pack once you get the quests done. That way, some of us who like the characters and weapons have the option to play with them without getting involved in the whole plot. Releases such as Aerith or Yuffie (my favourite) companions are nice. Although, I think a complicated Sepiroth boss battle against his many forms is also nice. As well as Weapons. Wait. Come to think of it, fighting gigantic Weapons in the wasteland with companions or minions sound cool. I'm sure there are dozens of FFVII fans out there who would welcome a FFVII mod. Although they may not be active in the boards and whatnot.

  13. I think a hovering creature like an eyebot would fit this one. Imagine that head spewing forth fire and plasma. That would make for hell in the wasteland or wherever. I swear, you keep making creatures that reminds me of old shooters. Awesome stuff.

  20. You know, that's not reassuring. However, I'll give you a benefit of the doubt. A lot of modders come here with grand ideas and announcement only to fall flat. Those who make it either really deliver at the last moment, or incrementally track their progress through mouthwatering screenshots. So please excuse the rather negative sentiment. I'm sure old timers who are familiar with the old Construction Sets don't start from scratch and thus, have a higher chance of finishing. Bytheway, it's a shame Darkshines wasn't released. If the map you gave us was of Darkshines, I would love to be able to play it as I like Morrowind.

  22. Perhaps you can help? It's better to see two groups working together to achieve the same goal rather than have them work alone.
