  1. Thanks. I suppose sorting Alphabetically is not an option? Maybe a new feature?
  2. I thought I fixed my problem as well. But today I experienced a few CTD's. Not near as much as before, but still enough to be annoying. This is typical of what I have experienced with all of the Fallout games including Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I guess there is not much we can do.
  3. After one of the recent updates in fallout 4, my character automatically sprints. I don't remember this happening in the past. This results in a lot of jerky movement. (This is not a video glitch problem.) The character starts to walk or run, lurches momentarily into and out of sprint mode. Even with plenty of AP. When I am moving the character, I want to just run or walk. Sprinting should only happen when I press the appropriate key. This happened after deleting and re-installing Fallout 4. Both 'vanilla' and with mods. Edit: It seems that after re-installing Fallout 4, the key bindings changed from what I had before. Caps Lock was set to AutoRun. Changing it to another key, seems to have fixed it. Of all the dumb things Bethesda has done, allowing key assignments to CapsLock, Numlock, Shift , ALT and CTRL is just a bad idea. Besides assigning multiple things to one key such as Bash/Grenade.
  4. I am unable to find "Fallout 4" in the "Find in forum" dropdown list in Advanced Search. It should be after Fallout 3 in the list. I need to be able to restrict searches only to Fallout 4.
  5. If you are using Nexus Mod Manager, create a new profile, and remove all mods from that profile. Run the game without mods to see if it runs ok. If it does, then it is probably a mod. If not probably it is hardware related. Like overheating in my case. Add your mods back one or two at a time and test. It can take awhile. Edit: Also check the posts for each mod on the Nexus for problems others experience for each mod. See if others have compatibility problems with each mod. Check to see if the Mod author is active. If they are not currently keeping their mods up to date, their mods are suspect.
  6. @steve40: For me, that may have been part of the problem. I removed Fallout4 and found a bunch of leftover texture files and .nif files. Plus my save games probably had stuff in there that relied on mods I removed. I decided to start over with a clean slate. Thanks for the help. Edit: I figured out my problem. I was running my CPU overclocked. I set it back to normal speed and Fallout4 quit crashing. I guess Fallout4 is using my CPU much more than other programs and games.
  7. Since the last update I have been having a similar problem. I have CTD's within 5 minutes of running any save. I removed all mods. I refreshed the game files in steam. Updated to latest video driver. Downgraded to another version of video driver and upgraded again. Still the game crashes. Other games work fine. No problem in windows for months. My system: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, AM3, 3840Mhz (overclocked) (normally 3300Mhz) Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula Ram: 16 gB DDR3 SDRAM Graphics card: AMD R9 380, 4Gb ram, DirectX 12 capable Sound: ASUSTeK SB600 Power Supply: CoolerMaster RS750 (750 watts) OS: Win7 Ultimate SP1 - 64bit Boot Drive: 250GB Crucial BX100 SSD Data Drive: 1000GB Seagate ST31000520AS
  8. Since I have already been installing my mods manually, and already had plugins.txt set to read-only, I didn't have any new problems with the new patch. The game starts up and plays as usual. Still having a stupid Windows message pop-up in Win7 that randomly jumps me out of the game. I suppose someone has a fix for that.
  9. Is there a way to change the floor inside to clean it up? I want to get rid of all the garbage on the floor. Also in the area outside, I want to remove bushes in the paved areas. This also would apply to the roads in the settlements, and areas behind houses. Anyone know what texture files I should edit? Thanks.
  10. I found AHK works best for changing the keyboard. It is best to only modify keys that change the numpad since Fallout4 doesn't use them. Try this: Leave the wasd keys as is. Change the arrow keys in AHK to map to wasd. Change the arrow keys in numpad to map to main keyboard arrows, and turn off numlock. This is a bit unwieldy to use but works for me. http://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/496881136900792263/
