  2. Now this is where I cause conflict, sure, the X-01 is good and all, but its simply not the same. You have to look closely to see differences, but it seems way too bulky, and some differences can be seen quite easily when compared side-by-side. I am kind of lost on what you guys have been talking about but yeah the X01 is not the same as a MK1/2, they are fairly similar and we can take this into advantage by pretty much remodeling an x01 using parts of the MK1/2, or better yet, use a T60 given that it is the least bulkier APA and just model it to look like both APA's from fallout 3 BTW jonny I gave our 3d artist your details he will get in contact with you soon.
  3. OP. Let's begin with the basics. I need you to gather textures for me to work on. And I will begin creating textures for the various equipments the enclave have. Also I can suggest a sequence of story lines. That... we can both analyze for further research. Then we can create a comic sketch and begin processing the story line. We can also decide when the enclave show up (after war is over, or if they join the war similar to the BOS) etc.
  4. This is totally unrelated, but I was wondering on how interested you would be in creating a mod that has the hood of the terminator (scanning terminator mod for power armors) with me? I can provide all the necessary textures, upon request. Or help in anything you may need.

I will help you and become 3 of your required developers -Artist -Voice -Story writer I could also offer assistance on voice, I have a few people that might be interested in helping at not cost (several actually). I can also do voices my self, but I lack the equipment. that covers about 33% of the team? what I need in return is: Your experience in modding (personal experience) the reason why I ask this is because the leader of a project of this magnitude should have at least basic knowledge on all modding tools, while I am not experienced in 3dx max or blender, I could probably make a basic shape. Some of my experience in modding were mostly textures. I can do textures from raw so long there are reference points. My advice is that you look for team members in other places, as not everyone who potentially has the skills visits the forums, you should try outreach more in twitter and facebook. Look for experienced modders and contact them personally. You should build your team by first creating a few basic mods that hint into the development of your big mod, for example start by creating a stand alone uniform for the enclave, then proceed by addind enclave into the wasteland, then add a small quest from an enclave officer, or that makes you find an dead enclave officer from which you can obtain the uniform, weapons or technology unique to him, similar to a easter egg. Start small with a few tests, then expand your project, use what you have (above idea) as means to promote your mod in the nexus website (modding side), then post propaganda and features to come, along with information on the project and required personnel. I Will help you with the best of my abilities. So because I am pretty sure you will choose me given the little supply and big demand of developers, take my advice and let's begin working. My suggestion is to first start with promotion: advertisement of any kind, showing the potential future of your mod. I can work on the graphics, I can even give you a sample of what I can do (PM). Then we can add it to the OP on this topic or we can add it to a personal website. Then we can increase the amount of members signing up for the project. Another suggestion is to begin working with what we have ingame, find a model that looks fairly similar to the enclave uniform and I can convert it to a proper enclave uniform (textures). We can begin planning the story, you could do some research on lore while I write the "1st quest", and then you would compare what you know vs what I given you.

  7. again is an ini problem, I had the same problem, but edited the ini to have max grass. maybe your settings are not even there, the other option is that you downloaded a mesh that replaces the grass, said this it could be that the path is directing it to is not correct, try uninstalling (copy the data folder where all the mods are to another location) when you uninstall everything you will have to manually delete what is left over by the uninstaller. i.e. bethetsa folder, after that try playing the game, if the problem persists it could be a setting harcoded into your saved files, try removing invalid registrations, i believe the command is "clearinvalidregistrations" if that doesnt work, proceed with a new save (start from fresh) if the problem is gone, then it was one of the problems mentioned before, if so you can try reinstalling your mods by copying back the data folder, if the problem reappears then it was one of your mods. if it was one of your mods then do what Ichibu described, if you are too lazy to try it, then that is your problem, or to bother reading his suggestion. everyone has to go through the troubleshooting hassle as sometimes is unavoidable that a mod will mess things up or that two mods will conflict creating these types of problems.

  9. let me ask you a question, do you know of the 90 degree rotation problem there is in nif skope once you translate from a 3ds max format into a nif format? you will most likely encounter this problem. so whatever you make remember to rotate it 90 degree on nifskope. input, the bow looks simple, and poly friendly, I would go with more faces, they usually do not hurt the engine too much. I have created a mask that consisted of around 1200+ faces, and that was for fallout, imagine how much it should kill FPS or even make the game crash. an eye for detail doesn't hurt, at the end you can always "cheat" and use normal maps with big textures to create the smaller details such as bolts that only add inconsistency in the final render.

Rather, in this case, it only really serves to cheapen the experience. that is exactly my point, which differs from your perspective, nudity for me is not a selling point, although I find it necessary in some cases, where censoring it would deem... ridiculous. i.e. the system is not the problem here. but of course if nudity is a personal problem for you that is totally understandable, but that doesn't mean everyone should adjust to your personal problems... i.e. if there is nudity there is nothing else we can do about it but to either deal with it or do not watch the show. for example the show south park makes negative remarks about religion, of which I find the least of amusing, and are rather insulting. but... again there is not a single thing I can do but to just simply not watch the show or simply ignore the fact that it is just humor or not an insult.

  12. is an ini problem, if you downloaded an ENB seriers, they come with ediited skyrim files such as skyrim.ini I do try deleting them and see how the game works.
  13. you do need to edit the skeleton in the nif file, I believe. if you wanted to make it specific to one dog, you would have to create a new creature in the CK, and edit it, to have the new nif.
  14. I will be getting a new copy of 3ds max, with that in hand, I offer my services to sculpt any 3ds model. that is.... only sculpt, no transitions from 3ds to nif or from nif to 3ds. I expect whatever I work on to be imported to the game so do keep that in mind (skyrim). therefore if someone is setting up a small team for an idea such as a new armor set, or a new race that requires heavy model editing you can count me in. just pm me or post your idea here or whatever you want.

I am currently experiencing a problem, that a lot of people seem to be experiencing also. after the battle for whiterun (stormclock), enter the throne room, and there are no scripts triggered, therefore there are not dialog scenes, guards usually do not attack, and once you have killed everyone and render the jarl inmovil to surrender, the marker updates stating that he must surrender. His surrender however does not occur, you are immobile cannot attack nor sheath your weapon, and there are no dialog options, nor they occur. This seems to be a problem happening to a lot of people, and I want to fix it. I am certain with the logic as that there is a trigger failing, most likely a condition not met. removing such condition would trigger the even thus fixing the problem. I have looked in the ck, and I haven't found any triggers for cwsiegeobj including the one that triggers the script. another problem that usually arises is the jarl not being exiled. this seems to happen by the same problem again a condition not being met (dormant) suggestions are welcomed.
  18. There is also a quick fix for that, if you are able to convert into a werewolf, once you are transformed back you will have all your race bonus. lot of problems lot of fixes, this should be fixed by default in my opinion =)

  21. Dear MastaWizard, I am not asking you to join if you do not want you, hence I do not need to provide any proof on anything, if you want to join, just join. We do help most members that require help, but we do not have the time to help every single member separately, we in fact teach people with little to no modding experience how to get started and join team projects. if you have questions you can consult our stuff..... but the "I need proof" part just seems totally sketchy and very rude to me. proof for what? if you need evidence that we do indeed help people you can either consult other members in our forum or you can simply ask someone in the chat upon registering, also you can check and read every single post in this topic to find testimonials. good luck.
