I would suggest one.. DO NOT click on either "mods" or "CC" You have absolutely NO NEED for a Bethesda account unless you want to download the Creation Kit.. TWO.. Do download Vortex from the Nexus, and then run amock with the mods you desire, I would suggest downloading SKSE and of course Fores new Idles.. and for the love of all the Gods set your steam account to "Offline" to avoid sudden "updates" making your game unplayable.. and read the descriptions and requirements on any and all mods that tickle your fancy.. I prefer to read the "Bugs" section as well, to make sure I don´t download something that WILL crash your game in conjunction with other mods..and THREE... never, ever hesitate to ask others for advice remember, there are no stupid questions only, stupid answers..finally, have fun.. there´s no ONE way of modding your game, it´s yours and you decide what you want... Ahem... as a Starting point get CBBE, Bodyslide, outfit studio and of course Fores new idles, xpmsse plus CPB for the "jiggly" bits, then i would suggest either MetalSabers mods or the ever popular Bijins, concerning armor and clothing ? that would be a matter of taste, do have a good look around and, remember, ALWAYS read the full descriptions and requirements on any mod, ANY.. there are an abundance of mods that improve the rather lacklustre effort of Bethesda when it comes to appearances, spend some time looking around, make a list of the things you want and go for it... do have e wonderful time andremember, it´s always trial and error when you mod your game, ... Toodles....

Frightfully sorry old bean but, it seems i´m all out of advice, there might be something wrong with your installation or some mismatch between mods... I do so hope you find a solution. toodles..

Open Xedit, open mod in question, change stats to those of the armor where the stats are as you prefer, close and save Xedit, open game, Voila!!! (see, I can be brief, to the point and use simple sentences, if you´ll all excuse me inneed a bath to wash this "simplicity" out..toodles)

3dNpc is very Script- heavy old bean.. that might give you some prolonged loading times, in conjunction with other script heavy mods it can get a bit irksome, Iwould suggest using a loadscreen replacer, that way you might have something mildly pleasing to look at whilst waiting...

Your problems does seem quite similar to what my humble self have experienced, there is a solution though, do try to download "Archery Gameplay Overhaul" this little beauty gives you the possibility to twiddle, didde and fidlle to your hearts delight with the aim.. Sorry to hear about your troubles old sport.. I do run the games you mention with win10 and only with slight problems, i would suggest you run them with Win7 compatability settings if nothing else, but i do suspect you might have a faulty copy of win10, Microsoft are notoriously unable to produce any OS that works flawlessly and win10 is the pinnacle of imperfection, I too would prefer to run win7 but I have lost my copy in a recent relocation (movers are rather blasée about packages it seems) and I absolutely refuse to hand over the obscene amount of florins that MS demand for their shoddy products...I do so hope you will be able to correct those inconveniences that MS seems determined to hoist upon its customers... have a nice whatever it is where you are.. Then I would suggest downloading one of the multudes of presets available on the Nexus and slightly modify it in RM, there´s a tab in Mod Categories that says presets, do have a look, you can then alter or modify the looks of said preset in RM.. There´s this new invention called RaceMenu, maybe you´ve heard about it ? It allows you to model a character after your preferences and I suspect it does not matter if the body-type is CBBE or UNP..... you really should give it a whirl old bean, I´m quite positive you will find it to your liking... If, on the other hand It´s more of a companion you seek (Game-wise) I would recommend this marvel of engineering called (drum- roll) the Creation Kit, the Youhoo thingamaging is absolutely overflowing with tutorials and you can create the most amazing, somewhat, lifelike beings with it.. other than that i have no clue whatsoever.. though I do recall that "Oldrim" as they call it, have an abundance of mods that would cater to your specific needs... Usually Books are good for you.. did you offend a Librarian ? or mayhaps some, slightly annoyed elderly Gentleman, thought you should "READ THE DAMN BOOK!!!" or had you commited some minor crime ? like murdering some insignificant peasant, a chicken or that insufferable wench who keeps demanding you pretend to be Harry Potter ? the possibilities are endless..that, might have stimulated a Justice of the peace to "Throw the BOOK at you " it might just be a mod-conflict but..that would be ever so boring.. If, however you manage to recreate the moment.... please do take a photo, I would love to see a Gigantic flying book amongst the flying Mammoths, Horses and occasional cow...

I have, at last, completed the Civil War quest-line (first time ever and I purchased the game upon release) Now, I will admit I skipped through the MQ, just saying hello to the greybeards, repossesing the bugle and getting shouted at by old men was about that.. I then proceeded to stamp out those obnoxious rebels in a fast but, still elegant and charming way, Crowning the achievement by severing that talkative lout, Ulfrics, despicable face from his, equally, despicable shoulders.. bravo ! , Huzzah ! and all that nonsense.. However.. and that´s a fairly big however.. the serfs, Innkeepers and random commoners,Soldiers and puffed up "Yarl" still reference to that dreadful little uprising as if it has not been crushed by the Glorious Empire.. Will there be , after a given time, conversations reflecting the happy days of the peasant under the benevolent empire or will I have to start, yet again, this time plodding like a good little Serf through the Main quest before dealing with the revolting peasants?? Please any hint or knowledge about the populations unwillingness to accept that blabbermouth Stormcloak is dead, dead, dead!! and the rebellion OVER!!! would be appreciated, thank you for bearing with this rather convulated question and do please tell me if this behaviour is normal,from the game, mine is completely sane.... Toodles... Never mind, move along, nothing to see here.. the game does indeed update conversations, though in a painfully slow way, One would think that Couriers and assorted traveling Bards would spread the good news faster than a wench drops her panties when she hears the jingling sound of gold coins but, no.. the news moves like molasses in the winter time.. ah, well, I´ll just be as patient as demanded... Hello and a very good whatever it is for you.. I have this quest haunting me and has been doing so for "ages". Elegant, somewhat flashy Cavalier style Armour/Outfits for MEN, It is a bit of a bother to swoon delighted at the sight of some frills, lace and polished leather when the object of my admiration is Female only, drats !, bugger and blast it !! So, If anyone out there could point me in the direction of such Clothing I would be eternally grateful.. P.S. I DO have the apachii store so there´s that one off the list though it is not exactly brimming with elegance per se.. Tooodles!

Arthmoor, though i appreciate your work I think you have a limited grasp of civility, i do have a problem with CC, as i have with every micro-transaction "service" in any game, as for Bethesda making games ? If FO4 was not warning enough of the decline in quality and "dumbing-down" of what USED to be a RPG franchise well, obviously you are not into RPG´s, and when the unmitigated disaster that is ´76 hit the shelves first,dumpster second, did it not clarify that Bethesda does NOT make games anymore, just re-used assets packed in a crap-bag with absolutely no story,gameplay,or even functionality other than the part where you pay,pay and pay again for nothing..so, no i will not pay for anymore games from Beth unless, they actually make VI worthwhile and NOT some multi-player cash-cow.. and i doubt they can manage to do that, beth is not what it used to be, and i for one regret the loss of worthwhile games from them but, other developers are filling their place rapidly and justly so..and with this i finish, as i stated, i respect your work and your opinions but would rather not engage with you socially in any form, my life is too short for that nuisance..

I just wish they would keep CC separate from REAL updates, some of us are not into sinking anymore money into the sinking ship Bethesda and would rather support modders who, actually need the money.. if they would make CC a separate thing that we are not forced to get updates from.. i´d be a happy camper..

I´ve noticed some of my favourite modders leaving due to " differences of opinion" with moderators and such.. maybe , some, moderators, are confusing real-life and mods ? because it seems that "some" topics, words, types of slang and so on is slowly but surely getting censored from the site.. i could be wrong but..

I´m a bit worried and will wait and see... with the "dumbing-down" of FO¤ and the spectacular dumpster fire that is ´76 I´m more than a bit sceptical of the prospect of me buying anymore Beth games, as of now they "only" screw up my Skyrim on an irregular basis with thier damned CC.. but i expect any new game from them will be CC mods only and then ? I´ll leave them to die...

As for the RP-element you might be right.. I´m currently writing a Fan-fiction on skyrim (had to write something else than my danged series on Vran and Her Highness) I am writing it as a "post civil war" interview with the Dragonborn.. covering the events leading to the end of the Civil war and what is going to unfurl very,very soon, with the Thalmor amassing a huge invasion force and the Response by the Empire, lead by the Dragonborn.. it´s turning out twisty and turny but it´s getting there :-) maybe I´ll post it somewhere on Nexus...

might i suggest using outfit studio ? there are some armors and clothes for Men that can be loaded in there, and then you just cut, paste and resize to your hearts delight.. I use it for making armors not so ridiculous (those darned wings on the shoulders must be eradicated) I even succeded in lifting some female armor parts to a Male ebony Armor making it smoother and thus, more practical.. it IS a "trial and Error" scenario but, it´s the best solutin I´ve found..

A long time ago in a Galaxy far, far awy...just kidding, there used to be amod called Familiar faces where, you could use one of your player presets as a follower.. does anybody know if it´s alive ? if there+s a mod that does the same ? or can, anyone, make a mod that allows you to use one of your previous characters as a follower ? I know, there´s ton of tutorials on making followers but, the concept of using your "self2 as a follower intrigued me when i heard about it.. anyone ??

Great idea.. I second that, I choose NOT to go through "Season unending" because of its set premise that ulfric gets Markarth (why?) and it´s really just a waste of time as it is..if a modder could implement some REAL negotiations that would be great..

I, seriously, thought these sort of questions were a thing of the past.. but, okay fine, here goes, If you don´t want skimpy armor mods and so on ? block them in your search, it´s easy, if , on the other hand, you are just trying to "virtue-signal" ? please go somewhere else and B^^ch there.. Nexus is for modders and people who appreciate mods, if you want to impose some sort of "moral" standard of your own making ? just don´t, if you haven´t heard of free will, choice and the ability of Humans to, actively, avoid what they do not like or approve of ? then you need to talk to your parents.. that being said, this discussion is pointless, it crops up now and again when some, (insert preferred word) wants to virtue-signal and possibly, make "Wamen" like them, in the few cases where it´s a Girl/Woman posting nonsense like this it´s just a feeble attempt to politicize gaming.. please stop doing that and please stop posting idiocy like this in the future.. in short, if you don´t like it, don´t download it...

SE and the funny thing is I just played this morning, now 7 hours later it won´t do noithing I only removed one mod (Anna NPC´s) and had to verify game files, but there was no update or anything ? Edit: Found the problem, I don´t know how but, SKSE had apparently manged to corrupt itself, i cleaned all scripts out, reinstalled SKSE ans now it works.. now for re-installing all mods that udes scripts.. sorry for the trouble and thank you for the reply..
