  1. Take a look in the files. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4929
  2. I had to smile. After looking around last night I finally found an optional file to remove the clouds and fog from my map....I could not see through the clouds to look for road junctions. I wanted a map, not a weather dependent satellite view. Different strokes etc. :) Go to the mod makers site for the 3d map mod. He/she has several optional files for clouds and without.
  3. To ENB or not to ENB: That is the question: Whether tis nobler in the knee to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous frame rates or to download Boss against a sea of stutters and by load order end them? To die: to sleep: no more: and by a sleep slider to say we end the heart-ache and the thousand CTD's that files are heir to: tis a clean save devoutly to be wish'd: to die: to sleep: To sleep: perchance to uninstall: Ay, there's the rub. It seems I've spent six weeks learning how I want the game to be and sampling the endless mod buffet. Perhaps things will be up to snuff enough by spring time to actually play the game.;)
  4. I have discovered the error of my ways. At one point while downloading I was asked for a path and I foolishly created the Steam Apps path out of noob ignorance. Yeah, I'm an idiot ;)
  5. Steam not Sream ;) While tracing file pathways I found a file folder of a mod I had thought I had deleted by using NMM as well as what appears to be other mods folders. It was in " Steam/Steam Apps/common/Skyrim/Data". Most everything else I have downloaded winds up in Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Data. First...why are there two pathways that seem the same but for a space and one capital letter? Second.... what files are supposed to be in "Steam Apps" as compared to "steamapps"? Third....how can I determine what files are original to "Steam Apps" and which ones have washed up there by fault of man and/or machine?
  6. I'm very new at this. In nexus mod manager two of my mods have yellow triangles with exclamation points. I can't find anything that explains this. What do they mean? Thank you.
  7. Completely new at this. I downloaded Skyrim from Steam the other day. I keep seeing references to SKSE for adding/using mods. I cant find it anywhere. Did Steam automatically download it? I have added some mods and they seem to work. But the new UI says I have no SKSE. Is there a place for noob idiots to find this basic information?
