  1. i guess i understand why the mechanic is even in this game, but the fact that any and all gates/doors re-lock themselves every day is just annoying. i mean, i found myself never EVER wanting to unlock a fence gate again if i will have to do it every time. ignoring the gate and going around to find another way is faster than going through the whole "press F to start the mini-game>2s animation of bobby pin getting in place>start mini-game>trial and error until success>leaving mini-game screen>pressing F again to open the (now unlocked) gate" As you have to make sales every day/night and further in the game going trough the sewers, its just daunting to deal with this so constantly. maybe keep the "re-lock" mechanic to doors in buildings, and remove it from fence gates/sewer gates. once unlocked, stay unlocked permanently. the mini-game is not hard if you have patience and have played skyrim/fallout before. so its nothing but a needless annoyance, not a game difficulty. anyway, is there a way to make a mod that remove that mechanic from gates/sewers or maybe altogether from the game? please and thank you
  2. Nevermind, i managed to make the bodyslides work, now i need to figure it out how to make the looks menu mod sliders show in game
  3. Hello everyone. i came in here today to ask for help as my last resort. its been 4 hours of trial and error, i cant take it anymore. So my problem is this, i wanted to play as the young version of kellog (the one you see in doc amari quest thing) so, i used face ripper to get his face from the game itself and place it on my character. so far so good, everything worked. but, for some reason that kellogs thighs and ass are HUGE not sure why bethesda made him like but anyway. problem is, face ripper copied his retarded bodystyle too, and wearing armor with legs like that its just too stupid for me to ignore. so, i was looking for mods that allowed me to mess with bodyslide, if i could just fix that bodytype back to original, that would be perfect. finally, what i found out is Bodyslide studio, and LooksMenu. now i never messed with these programs before and i know nothing of it. I use Mo2, installed bodyslide through it, and looks menu. then, i installed super hero bodies because apparently you cant modify vanilla bodies? (not my goal anyway i dont use any body mod, all i want is to change my character body) anyway, when i open the bodies with bodyslide, i select Super hero Body, and change the preset to Base and with the box that says "build morphs" checked i click on build and a message that says process successful shows up. problem is, that does not make my default body the "base" preset (with everyhing on 0) my body turns into the default "kurt" preset. no matter what i change in Bodyslide it doesnt affect my in-game body at all. and if i open looks menu in game, no slider shows up in the list. sorry for the long ass explanation but i just thought it could help to have more information if you can help me, please do. im tired of watching youtube tutorials that are useless to me
  4. Oh man, that was it! i didn't even knew there was a "lens flare" option lol turned it off and it fixed my problem. turning back on just made it look exactly like it was before so thats a no for me. anyway thanks a lot man!
  5. Hello everyone. Im not sure if this problem comes with vanilla skyrim SE (cause i remember these fire glows when i first started vanilla SE and thought this was just some visual effects that bethesda thought it would make the game look prettier) or if maybe one of my mods caused it. its this effect, that im not sure what it is called ( i call glow for now) that haven't been bothering me too much, until i summoned a flame atronach at night. As you can see, there is this weird glowing effect from fire (kinda looks like a lens flare effect) that as stated before, im not 100% sure that is from vanilla skyrim SE. not only on flame atronachs, seems like every fire source (torches, flame spells, fire pits etc) have this weird glow, and i can't figure how to fix it. I tried the Ultimate HD fire effects mod from PhenomFazMFQ, tried a mod called Embers, that helped a little but didn't quite fix it, tried mod/fix called Reduce fire/torch/candle light, that did nothing for me. Does anyone know how could i fix this issue? Down bellow there are some more SS of this glow around the fire sources: Btw, i am not using any kind of ENB and the only visual mods that could be affecting it although i don't think so, are vivid weathers, static mesh improvement mod andRealistic lighting overhaul. i can upload my load order somewhere if needed (and if i discover how lol).
  6. Almost every mod should have a plugin, have you tried to close vortex and open it again and check the plugins tab? i had some problems with load order not changing before and fixed doing that. not sure about your problem tho, maybe it's a problem about vortex not recognizing the path where mods/plugins should be placed. but i dunno how to fix that sorry :/
  7. Hello guys, i'm here today because of a problem in my game that is driving me crazy and i can't play until i fix it (i am like that) At first i thought it was just a Mod or some configuration done at the fallout.ini or something like that. As you can see, around his ear, there is this weird "3-d" like visual that i never had before, and it only happens at certain positions from a light source (looking at it from a different position makes it go away) As i said before, i thought it was a problem with some mod (i don't have that many) so i unninstalled every single one and tried again, and the problem persists. Then i thought it could be some modified archive inside fallout 4 directory, so i uninstalled the whole game, erased everything left (in fallout 4 directory on steam and on my documents) and downloaded it all over again. and this SS is from a fresh start, 100% vanilla game! there is nothing else but the game downloaded from steam, and the problem is still there! gwa! If anyone know what is this and how can i get it fixed i would be forever grateful! ***Down here i will post some extra information that might be useful in case you are wondering*** - In the last 2 pictures, thats a fresh install from steam, no mods, no f4se no ENBoost nothing that does not come with the vanilla game from steam. - I tried loading a different save with a different character and place, and the problem is the same. - i'm not sure if this is caused by some mod or "cfg" that maybe left some leftovers that i let slip from a previous installation, although i highly doubt it wouldn't be fixed by a fresh installation. - I'm positive that this problem might be something else like some kind of configuration on my Nvidia panel settings or maybe on this monitor (i have 2) that is 144hz, although i already tried opening the game on my first monitor (60hz and i never had this prob before) and the problem is still there. - This problem is only happening with Fallout 4, i play many different games on this pc/monitor and no problem whatsoever with any other game. - Please help :wallbash:
  8. I see people saying: wear brotherhood armor or vault suit, it doesnt look fat, or make your character smaller in the looks menu... GUYS, we are looking for a FIX not a workaround... its just wrong how you look with a lot of kinds of under armor like the army fatigues and your combat/leather/raider armor looks WAAY bigger than it is! i think it have more to do with the clothing itself than it have with the body, but im no expert. anyway its weird that so much time have passed and no fix has been made yet...
  9. Hello, does someone know (or could create a mod) to get this kellogg preset? i've seen someone post many NPCs like followers (preston, danse etc) as presets in the looks menu before so i think it's possible. Its the kellogg from his memories. i don't know, i bet you could find it using the creation kit or something, i just don't have a clue how to find it, or how to make the main character (sole survivor) to change it's appearance to that. here some prints about the guy:
  10. Hey thanks dude! Locksmith is perfect! thank you so much.
  11. Hello my fellow modders! I would love a mod that added a "lockable" kind of door to settlements . It would be simple, add some "special" category of doors (they would look the same doors as in vanilla) but these ones, when placed, need to be named by the player; "Door to secret room" " Door to armory" for example. And as they are placed, a key (with the same name of the door obviously) would be added to player inventory. with that key, the player could choose either to lock or unlock that door (with a hotkey i suppose) and if locked, the door would be treated as one of those special locked doors that cant be lockpicked! Thank you for your attention, really looking foward to it!
  12. Well, i don't see why not use SSME, it works perfectly for me and i feel that there no need to increase the block sizes (never had problem with freezing nor crashing ever again with my 120+ mods) i didn't understand what you mean with "allow high res warpaints" it was ever "not allowed"? i used one mod that does exactly that (high res warpaints) and it works perfectly. about the diagnostic tool, there is always TES5EDIT and LOOT right? I'm not a programmer too but i don't know i think both SSME and the skse memory patch works pretty much the same. it's a matter of choice then right?
  13. Do you use the Memory blocks log and SSME? if not, then check this out.
