Pretty straightforward. I want to change the messages in Better Vampires to the first person messages of Think to Yourself. (Shouldn't really be Think to MYself?) Where can I find them in the CK?

The "grotesque" afflicted really look like a coloration bug. I'd like to see an awesomely hideous retexture of them. That's all.

And before you say it... 3.) It doesn't help to claim that believed her only when they checked the vault--because it's ridiculous to think that either (A) Mercer'd been stealing stuff from the vault for 20 years and nobody noticed even when they put stuff in there or (B) That he could empty the vault with nobody seeing. It's right out there in the open! And no, punting to magic or the skeleton key won't help. We have a pretty good idea what those can do and they can't make several chests worth loot invisible and silent for as long as it takes to haul them out. Even the most powerful mage would have difficulty on that score and Mercer's no mage.

Yes, she presented the translated journal but... 1). At the time that she sets her plan in motion--even at the time that she first tries to capture Mercer, she has *no idea* what's in the journal. She doesn't even know what language it's in. Even *if* she had reason to think that Gallus recorded his suspicions there, (1) that proves little. Mercer could just say Gallus failed to suspect the woman he loved until it was too late. and (2) wouldn't it make sense to get it translated *before* capturing Mercer? What if it takes a year to track down the relevant scholars? What if she has to--as you actually have to!--travel all over skyrim to get it translated? Is she gonna drag Mercer along with her? Or would she leave him tied up in Snowveil Sanctum? Hope he doesn't have Realistic Needs installed. That's the most important part. Her plan has a giant hole right in the middle. It's hard to believe she came up with this over the course of an afternoon, nevermind 20 freaking years. But even aside from that... 2). Why would the thieves guild believe her? She has a journal they can't understand and what *she* says is a translation. Whoop-de-freaking-do. Anybody can present anything and claim it's a translation. The rubbing doesn't help novices--even with the rubbing we had to get another scholar to translate it. (Also, why would a nightingale symbol be hard to fake? It's not terribly complicated. And why would the rest of the guild even know it? They think the nightingales are a myth.)

Yeah, I never became guild master. The whole preform the same job over and over until you get the quest you actually need never appealed to me. But the big problem is that the main plotline was just terrible, imo. Idk, maybe I'm being too nitpicky; I'm just hoping somebody might see this and decide the theives guild needs an overhaul. Or maybe even better just add an alternative guild of thieves.

The thieves guild quest-line was really disappointing to me. I mean, I give away the skeleton key? I sell my soul for armor? I steal basically nothing? We're under Maven's thumb? And don't even get me started on Karliah's plan. Can someone make this more interesting? Or just provide an alternative thieves guild that actually, you know, *steals* stuff? I get this is a shot in dark, but I hoping somebody was as underwhelmed by that questline as I was.

Background: I'm about to start a new game and I thought this time I'd play as a custom race. I decided on the Ningheim. Thing is, they look a good deal like Nords--I'm pretty sure they would be mistaken for Nords. Yet, everyone I run into will know that I'm not a Nord. So I'm wondering if there's a mod that lets you change which race dialogue you hear. Anyone know of one?

Can I move "Mod Organizer" folder to another directory?

If you do move it, you may have to delete the mod organizer ini. Otherwise, it may get confused about where various files or folders (downloaded or installed mods for instance) are located. Just a guess on that last point though. -

Yes, you can. I usually place the whole folder in the root directory of whatever Beth game I'm using it on. -
The page for XP says it will work with any mod that doesn't modify leveling via script. Is that no longer true? Or do those modify leveling via script? The other mods i suggested are compatible to all, but only one of them will work. Vilja is a Questmod walking on two legs and with Emmas Houses it is better than all. Saerileth has a little Romance Quest and Rihanna is simply a good companion. All are fully voiced and nice. Why won't they work together? I've never heard of companion mods being incompatible with each other. Modding oblivion is much different from modding other Beth games.

That's because I'm an idiot. I think I'm going to start with Francesco's and I'll try out ND after that. If it uses it's own leveling system that's cool too, I just don't want to use the vanilla system.

Alright, so one for Francesco's, one for Maskar's and one for War Cry New Dimensions. @Harvald: Thanks for the quest mod suggestions! Question though: Am I right in thinking those won't work with Oblivion XP? Not a huge deal, but I'd like to know either way. @Sergio1992: Here's a trailer for OOO. You can see the armors I was complaining about around 0:50. Not outrageously skimpy, but neither are they close to lore friendly.

Well, I'm fine with quests that are delivered via scrolls and journal entries. I just don't want my mod added quests to feel different than the vanilla quests. So if this were Marrowind, I'd be fine with unvoiced quests, but in Oblivion, it just yanks me out of the game. (Same with the armors too. If they weren't so contrary to the vanilla style, I'd just think they were rather silly. But they stick out to the point of being annoying.)

I'm about to start Oblivion and it's really hard to find information about mods. I've played it pretty throughly on xbox, but I've never modded it before. I'd like to increase damage all around, make magic not suck and unlevel enemies and items. Suggestions? FYI, I'm considering OOO, but I dislike the bikini-style female armors it adds and I can't tell if the quests it adds are voiced. (I know, I'm a terrible person and utter noob for refusing to play with unvoiced quests.) Are these quests voiced and are there mods that remove the skimpy female armors?

I swear it's like this game is toying with me. Everytime I think I'm crash-free it starts crashing again. Anyways, crashes began yesterday. Here's a list. 1. I would crash whenever I tried to use blink (a mod-added version of the blink power in dishonored) to get to the top of a specific mountain so I could rain arrows down on a dragon that was fighting my follower on the other side. Quite a lot going on so I figured it was just too much on the system. 2. Started playing today. Jumped over a rock. Crashed in midair. This was around a minute into the game. 3. Started again. Went into Valthume. Crashed while walking around. About 35 minutes in. 4. I was about to finish the quest No One Escapes Cihdna Mine. I'd killed the Foresworn and snuck out alone. When I leave there's only Thonir Silver-blood waiting outside. He attacks and I beat him. He's still labeled as essential. I'm thinking something went wrong, so I reload and the game crashes as I leave Cihda mine. 5. I start the game up and try to reload the save. It crashes. I eventually revert to an earlier save. 6. I'm fighting a foresworn and a dragon. I get killed by the foresworn as he goes to decapitate me, the game crashes. About an hour in. I can't see anything that's in common with these but that's six different types of crashes since last night. Diferent places, circumstances, and time played. Since last I posted here (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1798970-crashes-please-help/) I've done nothing except: 1. Deleted Wet and Cold and the Ashes add-on. 2. Cleaned the left over scripts with the save cleaner. 3. Updated SMIM and the Unofficial Patches. 4. Added Konahrik's Accoutrements and the standalone version of Unique Dragon Preist Masks. The most recent of those was 18 hours (of gameplay) ago. What is going on!?!?!

I took the Arcane Assassin perk in Skyre--it should make sneak attacks with spells do 2.5x damage--and whenever I hit someone with a spell, it says it does 1.75x damage (same as it did before). i've looked all over and it seems that lots of people have this problem, but I can't find anything except reports of it. How do I fix it?

So I recently updated to BOSS v 2.3 and now it doesn't know that FNV or Oblivion are on my computer (It does detect Skyrim and FO3). I have it installed in C/BOSS and Both FNV and Oblivion installed in my F drive. I thought that might be the problem so I moved it to F, but that didn't help. How do I fix this?

I know many of them haven't been updated. I've gotten conflicting advice on that. Some people say don't update at least the scripted mods (I know Apollodown explicitly says that all updates of CWO require new games), others say update everything. Guess it can't hurt at this point. EDIT: Mods updated (except for CWO). Turns out that the crashes after completing "Promises to Keep" go away when I delete Wet and Cold and clean the scripts out of the save. Doing so also seemed to help with crashes around Chapel Stendar though it's hard to tell because stability varied by save and I deleted most of the ones that would crash.

I don't know why but the promises to keep quest seems bugged. I jumped back to a 10 hour old save and as soon as I finished the quest--by killing the guy and taking frost--and traveled to riverwood, the game crashed. This time it crashed even though I didn't try to save. I'm thinking whatever's causing that is may also be causing at least some other problems, but I can't tell what's doing it.

1. I'll update BOSS now. 2. I use SSME which does the same thing as the new SKSEs, I believe. 3. Yes I just repasted my log by mistake. My unrecognized plugins are: KJ Tattoos.esp Als Eclipse Bloodcurse.esp I usually place KJ Tattoos right after racemenu overlays. But I've been trying to fix my game in the meantime and ran BOSS before posting this.
