  1. Lots of progress made. Mania is about 60% complete in it's landscape.   3. Thank you, this work comes from the passion and love from other Shivering Isles fans. As for a release, it will be a little while. But I suggest heading over to Dark Creations to keep track on it's progress, under the Battlespire section.

WIP! ) Avatars of Hircine ( due to his invasion into The Shivering Isles ). They don't speak, they're still very animalistic, they mainly use bows. They hunt and kill small animals and bring them to alters to gain more strength from Hircine while they reside in The Shivering Isles. So when you see them, there's a Hircine shrine nearby, and you'll want to desecrate it to stop his influence in Sheogorath's realm. ( This is to replicate the feeling of destroying the Obelisks and Knights of Order from the original Shivering Isles! ) Thanks to the lovely Nuska for this! Till next time folks!

The plot has been made for the mod. Long ago Sheogorath approached Hircine in a duel, not of their own abilities, but of pawns they'd use to fight for themselves. Hircine was defeated by Sheogorath, and as Hircine is as he is, he did not take it well. For hundreds of years Hircine has held this grudge against Sheogorath and the shame of defeat has riddled his mind for far too long. The plot of revenge begins. Hircine brings his beasts and daedra to the realm of Sheogorath; The Shivering Isles. You must enter the realm, go to Sheogorath, and help him stop Hircine's invasion, before Hircine turns all of the inhabitants into werebeasts and crazed predators that go under Hircine's will and destroy New Sheoth. This plot, now giving the mod a actual title; Skyrim: The Shivering Isles 2; Hunt There will be a lot more exciting things coming up soon! So keep a lookout here. AND DON'T FORGET - We're still in much need of 3D Modelers, Scripters, Composers, and Voice Actors! Note though; any Voice actors willing to join won't have much to do at the moment, the mod is not ready to have quests implemented anytime soon.   9. I'm trying to stay true to the original Shivering Isles. A portal appeared in the largest body of water. I guess I could always do it in Riften's lake, near Treva River.

I can simply move the portal and make the island again, it's not that big and wasn't hard to make. It shouldn't be an issue.
  12. Hello everyone, me and Halgarth are hard at work on bringing The Shivering Isles to you all. But it will take a lot longer with it just being two people. We need more people to help this go along a bit faster. With me making the map, and Halgarth doing all the modeling and textures, it's making the project go slow, even though most of our free time goes to working on the project. If you're reading this and have some talent in either 3D modeling, making nice retextures, Scripting with Payprius, composing music, or even a talented voice actor. We want you! As I said, it's only 2 people at the moment ( with help from the creator of Disc World and Daniel Hodge the narrator for several Skywind videos ), a project this scale and ambitious simply needs more people on board to come out faster, and better. So again, if you've got some talent, we need; 3D Modelers Music Composers Scripters Voice Actors Adept ability at making retextures. If you really want to see this mod succeed then please lend a hand, even if you don't think you're that good, anything will help.
  13. Just an update. The map is underway again. After it accidentally being completely flattened... ( UGH ) I went back to the original version that had been flattened, 2 weeks of work is simply too much. So I've been raising the land instead of retreating back to an older version of the .esp Honestly I'm glad this happened, it's giving me a second chance to re-do it. I'm about half way done. The map has a much nicer flow now, is a tad bigger, and feels a lot more organic and closer to that of The Shivering Isles. Next time I post an update I promise there will be pictures. In other news I've been talking with the TES Renewal ( Skywind team ) about a trade, with us gaining a custom Hunger model. That's all I've got for now, till next time.

  15. Yeah, it's a shame. But it's fine. Right now there's a lot of custom modeling underway being done by the great Hallgarth. It's mostly things for the map, so right now I'm waiting for them to be finished to get back to the map editing.
  16. NEWS. So there's some good news and some bad news. The bad news is I accidently generated LOD for the land in Creation Kit and so it flattened the entire map and brought it below sea level.... My only backup save was a week before hand, and I had made A LOT of progress in that one week. But the good news is the LOD is working perfectly now thanks to a new friend. I lost a weeks worth of progress, but gained something so much more in return. And in other news, we have new custom assets being made for New Sheoth and for various plants/trees around The Isles. Keep watching for more updates.
  17. So I stupidly, not paying attention, generated Land in Creation Kit which completely flattened my land. I have made a lot of progress on the map since the last time I made a back up, so going back to the older backup would certainly backtrack me almost a weeks worth of work. And making the map landmass would also be really time consuming. So my question is; Can I export the heightmap from the older backup of the .esp for the worldspace I created and then import it into my current/more recent version of the .esp for that worldspace that worldspace that I screwed up?
  18. Big accomplishments and progress are being made!! Although I don't want to show any new screenshots just yet! I want it to all be big updates when I show them, completed ones. Not just work in progresses. Anyway! One thing that is important about the Shivering Isles is it's atmosphere. The Isles are very unique, and have their own unique appearance, and should have their own music as well. So, we are looking for someone to compose several tracks of ambient music for The Isles. We need; At least 5 tracks for the Isles. (3-4 for night time travel) 2 track for town music in Bliss 2 track for town music in Crucible 1 track for the New Sheoth Palace/Palace Grounds 1 track that sounds somewhat like carnival grounds type music ( message me if this interests you, I don't want to spoil what it's for. ) 4 tracks for dungeon dwelling 4 tracks for underground-cave dwelling ( the reason this music will be separate is because the cave/underground dwellings will have a different atmosphere than that of the dungeons. ) Please message me if you have any interests in taking on any of these.
  19. Can someone give me a step by step tutorial on making a one specific event I need? I am making a large and ambitious mod, a sequel to The Shivering Isles. Sheogorath is to be featured, of course. I want to make a specific event/dialogue/script where if you assault Sheogorath the player will be forced into dialogue with Sheogorath and will not have the option to back out of the conversation and will not be able to move or attack. With only the option , and Sheogorath to say one line ' Tsk Tsk. You really shouldn't have done that. ' and then the player is transported to a spawn point high up in the air, and falls to their death. Just like in the original Shivering Isles DLC.

  21. I've gotten him to ForceGreet me via the package. But he doesn't confront me using the CrimeDialogue, and he keeps greeting me repeatedly. Making progress, slowly.
