New Screenshots from the new map!! When entering the portal to The Shivering Isles ( to be in Lake Illinata ) you will start at the Gates of Madness ( The Fringe is still not 100% to be included. ) You start in a large building, with a long hall way. At the end of the hall way there is 2 large archways. On the left, Mania. On the right, Dementia. And in between the two lie two statues. Would you consider making the armor from the Aureals and Mazken from the Shivering Isles? I'm making a Shivering Isles redux mod, and it would help greatly!

So I guess I must've edited something when I shouldn't have... Because now everytime I go to load up my mod on the creation kit it comes up with a list of errors, there first one reads; Quests: Could not find previous info (02015c84) for TopicInfo (02015c85) in Topic** (02004DAA) the second one reads FORMS: Non-Parent MGEF form 'VoiceFireBreathEffect1' (00020E16) exists in both file 'Dragonborn.esm' and 'Dawnguard.esm' and the third one reads EDITOR: Editor ID 'SummonValorTargetFXActivator' for ACTI (03028214) is not unique, previous object (020142Be) is type ACTI. I would love to make the armors and the Mazken and Aureal races, but like I said we need 3d modelers for this. I do not have the experience, and if I were to take the time to learn then it would take my time away from designing the world space and finishing the map/LOD. So I have to do one or the other, so if you want to, or know someone who would want to then I would gladly accept them on to the team or any donations to the project! But if not then I will have to use exisiting armor from the game. I know how to make independent races but they would simply be recolors of preexisting races. Glad to hear it! We've already got a quest in, we'll be adding more onto the map and an additional town with some more quests. Once that's been done we'll add in navmeshing and release the alpha here on the nexus for people to play it a bit and give us some feedback! Superb! I hope there will be a playerhome to :smile: Oh there will be! We plan to put at least 2 - 4 player homes. 1 in Bliss, the other in Crucible. And 2 more on the country side of each realm. Sweet Stuff :smile: I cant wait to try it out <3 Will you be using all Skyrim resources? OR do you plan to make lots of new models/textures for the project? I am not a 3D modeler and have very few experience with doing textures. So for this to be high quality I will need other people with the desired skills to do these. Otherwise I will be using existing Skyrim resources.

Yes of course! New Sheoth is definitely going to be in the works. Bliss and Crucible will be full of madness and derranged citizens just as before! We've already got some pretty crazy stuff going on in the mod with some NPC's as we speak! There's an orc, Graulg Iron-Fist who is fascinated by bunny rabbits, and is obsessed with looking pretty and his lovely tiara. There's a little girl named Vivi who looks down from her home on High Top into Dementia and see's a dead little girl every night. And good ol' Yngvar Doom-Sayer is back, roaming the realm spreading his words of 'comfort' on the end of the world! Each town is going to have some ridiculous, fun quests with some ridiculous, fun characters!

Well like I said, if we put Sheogorath in then we need his voice actor, that or for someone to take his existing dialogue from Skyrim and edit them to make new lines for him. If we can't do that then we'll have to have him not present in The Isles. A reason for this could be that he's simply away in Skyrim, where you meet him. We'll get to that later down the road, right now we're still doing the landscape.

Hello! If you played Oblivion, than chances are you played Betheseda's expansion pack; The Shivering Isles. For those of you who haven't... Well there'll be mild spoilers ahead. So read at your own risk. ANYWAY! The mod is being worked on by me and a small group of other modders. So far there are only a couple people. 1 person making the landscape, 1 doing quests/scripts,ect. and 2 voice actors. So process is slow, but progress is being made none the less. 1. Info: - This is not an exact copy, We would need a MUCH bigger team, like The Elder Scrolls Renewal Project. So the map is not going to look exactly like Oblivion's. But the landscape and look will look and feel the same! - Time has passed since our last visit to The Isles, so a lot has changed, but a lot is still returning! List of returning Towns/Areas; - New Sheoth - Split - Hill of Suicide - Hale - Xedilian - And some others. List of NEW Towns/Areas created so far; - High Top ( A small town on top of a large mountain in Mania, with a giant waterfall. ) - Demented Swamps ( A large, engulfing swamp within Dementia, it's vast, deep, and thick. With tons of nasty crawlies! ) Weather/Region Feature; Upon entering Mania the sky will have the Sovngarde climate. ( You can see it down below in the Mania entrance picture. ) And upon entering Dementia the sky will grow dark and the Blackreach climate will creep in. However, we're having problems with this feature right now, if anyone would like to help, then please message me, this is an important feature for the mod, and we'd really like it to work! ) Though The Fringe will most likely NOT be returning. The reason being that not only is there not a suitable enough creature/monster in the game to serve as the GateKeeper, but we feel as not too many people spent any time in The Fringe anyway, so we think it'd be better for us to spend our time making Mania and Dementia. However, if our team were to get large enough then bringing The Fringe back could definitely be a possibility! Note, everything in the mod currently is being created with content from the original Skyrim game and the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC's. So they will be required to play this! Here are some screenshots of the Alpha! New Mania Entrance New Dementia Entrance Sheogorath/ Haskill/ Dutchess&Duke; This will be one of the hardest things about the mod, the pre-existing main characters, We can not make new dialogue for Sheogorath within good quality. Either sentences will need to be mixed, or he will need to have a reason to be absent from the realm. Haskill may make a return, looking over the realm while Sheogorath is away, but like I stated before, it would require his voice from him, but his voice actor didn't even voice in Skyrim, making it a little more difficult. The Duke of Mania and Dutchess of Dementia, they will also be tricky. It will be difficult to make it connect with previous players playthroughs with the original Shivering Isles, because one was always taken out, and you would replace them. So they may not make a come back, but instead, 2 new characters, Or possibly none at all. In conclusion!!! We're a small team, with a big dream to make something that not only we can enjoy and be proud of, but to share the experience with you all as well!! We need scripters, dungeon/level designers, and some voice actors ( with decent mic/audio at their disposal ), and maybe even some 3D modelers! Hello, me and a friend are working on a mod to reinvent The Shivering Isles in Skyrim. Though we're mixing it up a bit, same feel, same atmosphere, but different layout of the map. Mania and Dementia are about a quarter done, each. One thing we've implemented that we're really excited about is the vast climate/weathers between the two regions. When crossing over into Mania the sky gets brighter and the Sovngarde climate appears. And in Dementia when you get further in the Blackreach climate creeps in. We're fairly new to this feature. However, Mania's Sovngarde weather works fine, but for some reason the Blackreach weather doesn't kick in like it should. The 2 weathers are separated down the middle of the map. When you cross over to Mania it works, but when you cross over to Dementia it doesn't kick in like it should, you have to go a lot deeper than we've layed out the region's specific colored coordinates on the Region editor. Can anyone shed some light on this? We'd really like to keep this feature in, because it really helps set the different moods between the regions. By the way, here's some screenshots of the 2 entrances. (We had to use the console command to get the Blackreach weather to work in the Dementia picture.)

The Hammerfellien Traveler? Wth?

Nevermind, I finally found it. It was a mod that added in new horse models, from the About Horses mod. I noticed when looking at the horses that they had the horse models I downloaded, I thought it just didn't work and never got around to deactivating it. Now I see that I just didn't read the mod description as I should, and that it only added new horses near Whiterun with the new models, instead of being replacers. -
Okay so I know this shouldn't be posted here, but for some reason I wasn't allowed to post in the other thread. Basically my problem is that I have over +60 mods. And on the road outside of Whiterun, to the right of it, there is a small homestead that can be discovered named ' The Hammerfellian Traveler '. It has 2 horses and a Redguard, dressed in Hammerfell Garbs named Avik. He has no dialogue, and the grey face glitch. I didn't download any mod that adds new settlements, or new NPCs. I have no idea what mod added him in, but something tells me it was by mistake. I tried googling it, and looking to see if anyone had seen it on YouTube, but nothing. I've only 3 mods that have to do with new homes; -Holmwood -Thornrock -Hassildor All from the same author, Thornrock's entrance from the road is actually blocked by this random Hammerfellian Traveler homestead. And it sometimes crashes near it. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows of this issue, or what mod added it in.

I would like a mod that would change the looting system. I find that when beginning a new game I find a group of bandits. Kill them, take the strongest one's armor ( normally wearing iron ). I find that it's kind of silly because that one bandit makes it to where the fur armor set and hide armor set are completely useless to me now. I would like to make a mod that makes it to where steel and iron weapons/armors do not appear on anyone, or anywhere until I get to at least level 15. Making me have to actually use the lower leveled armors/weapons and actually tamper them. Making it worth my while. I would of course change the smithing perk system as well to work well with this mod as to make a good balance. Can anyone tell me how? Or at least point me in the direction to a good tutorial based on the exact thing I'm looking to do?

I want to make a mod that makes armors, and weapons, ect. Occur at much higher levels. I felt that it was a little cheap finding Steel armor at level 1 just lying around. Is there a way I can make it to where the desired armors and weapons don't appear in the world and on enemies unless they're a much higher level than me or I'm a much higher level?

So my creation kit hasn't been working properly, and honestly I don't feel like messing with it. I do know that there are certain song categories in certain regions when you explore them. I would like to have this song --> ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nksp7zjrYE ) added in to the category when in regions like The Pale, and around High Hrothgar. ( mainly snowy areas ) I think it would make certain scenic areas come to life with this song, as the snow falls. It's really simple. And if someone knows how, I'd love to have it as the main menu song too if possible!! Thank you in advance to who/if someone does do this for me! (:
