In response to post #24588269. #24588304, #24588364, #24588424, #24588514, #24588519, #24588644, #24588724, #24589624 are all replies on the same post. the problem is none of us knows what will happen we're all just speculating to me it seems more that it's a test run for valve and bethesda if its an option for future games but thats just speculation i don't think bethesda would ever take away free mods because it's not hurting them they're just winning off of free mods if they make a hybrid model where authors choose if they want to monetize their mods or give them out for free wouldnt that be great for almost everyone? almost..

  5. In response to post #24588634. #24588679 is also a reply to the same post. fores told cheesko to take down his fishing mod and he did, skse posted a statement that they're okay with people relying on SKSE for paid mods so far

  8. In response to post #24588489. some people just like to see the world burn or companies see an untapped marked and try to make money out of it
  9. In response to post #24588269. #24588304, #24588364, #24588424 are all replies on the same post. what if the modder would never have the oppurtunity to create a mod because he can't afford the free time?
  10. In response to post #24587774. #24588374, #24588409 are all replies on the same post. you can go as little as $1 thats still a full meal in some countries but steam caters to the majority not everyone the wet&cold version on the nexus is working fine and if he wouldnt have released an update ever noone wouldve complained about it

In response to post #24586549. #24586889, #24586954, #24587054, #24587239, #24587269, #24587399 are all replies on the same post. the $5 is just a suggested price you can go as low as $1 which is the minimun on steam right now and isnt exactly what youre describing what isoku is doing? his old wet&cold version is still avaible here and there are no major bugs as far as i know of
  13. In response to post #24586579. #24586614, #24587344, #24587449 are all replies on the same post. fores gave permission to use his assets probably not thinking that charging for it would ever be an option.... since cheesko has signed a NDA he did not have the option to ask for permission at that time judging by cheeskos reaction i think he read and cared a lot about what fores had to say
