I haven't seen Jedi Academy mods being brought back from the dead yet. I'm hoping that Nexus could work with jkhub in bringing a lot of the filefront JK Academy mods back from the dead.

Request: faster spell casting
Blademaster1215 replied to dwarrior's topic in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's Mod Ideas
Considering how damn overpowering High Comestion is, the thought of being able to cast it even 15% faster is scary. -
Request Lock on with Bow?
Blademaster1215 replied to jazneo's topic in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's Mod Ideas
The game would need a scripthook style addon which I don't believe has yet been made for any capcom game outside your standard trainers. I'm sure it could work, though given arrows have drop it might not be the best for archery. -
[REQ] Romanceable Pawns mod
Blademaster1215 replied to AwfulArchdemon's topic in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's Mod Ideas
Most likely not possible due to the pawn AI system being what it is, also I'm pretty sure the game wouldn't be able to handle any pawn romance with any pawns other than maybe your main pawn. Though theoretically if you could hook pawns into the affinity system it should work. It'll also probably crash the game after the final quest. -
[request] hide-helmet option
Blademaster1215 replied to sshade01's topic in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's Mod Ideas
Most likely the only way to do this would be to replace the headgear models with invisible helms though that may lead to baldness when you equip anything that removes your hair. -

NMM's new architecture is similar's to MO's, except better. As to this big splurg up top, all I have to say: if you've been a member so long and you didn't realize the big beta sticker smacked onto NMM, or the big walls of text underneath every modsite's hot mods showcase, then you can't be helped. NMM 0.60 has been talked about since before NMM 0.50, and at the time, it was going to release in the 0.50 branch. Also guess what? Your game was going to eventually die and you were going to have to rebuild your mod setup anyway (I'm assuming you play a lot of Skyrim), if you aren't used to doing that, then I can't believe you're as such a long time member as you state.

Not sure what reasoning people have to give you death threats, but shame on them, you folks do a lot of hard work maintaining the servers that we pay very little for if at all.

Steam and Bethesda remove paid modding from Skyrim Workshop
Blademaster1215 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I'm going to be quick here. The only way for any kind of "premium" mod system would work would be an ad revenue system like youtube. From my understanding bitfly is used by a few modders even on the nexus to gain profit via ad revenue. Mods have been free from the beginning and they should cost the end user anything. That's my stance. For the modder to profit off mods is fine, but it can't be done by charging the user. -

In response to post #24602664. I don't think Valve wants ads on steam, though it would work great if they had the game companies make ads for their games for said uses. -

RadBrad did pretty much everything in that game along with a hundred other walkthrough youtubers. Good games with competent marketing sell well. -

Posting a review is not the gaming companies content, it is critique of their content and protected under Fair Use laws, commentated gameplay walkthroughs are under the same protection. From the way it's worded, Service Providers can be given donations by the modders, but its the modder's choice to give said cut to whichever providers. Unless I'm reading this wrong? -

That kind of information would be beyond contradiction but require Dark0ne to be contacted by Valve for this too. Imagine the conspiracy theories brewing up.
