  1. Update - I found out what was wrong. While I did rollback to the previous Precision X version, it was still making the ENB unable to run. I guess I'll have to run Skyrim without Precision X now.
  2. Do you use an ENB by any chance ? I'm experiencing similar crashes.
  3. Load order doesn't seem right. Relighting Skyrim, for example, should be higher. That's a lot of mods, so make sure you use LOOT (though it's not always right, always double check). If you did use it, then yeah... I'd say RS goes higher, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd also suggest using the unofficial patches, they do fix quite a lot of things. Also, you could try to clean your saves if you already deleted scripted mods from them.
  4. Aye. When manually installing mods, you need to activate them, either in the NMM or in the launcher (take the one you usually use). In both cases, simply tick them, then you're good to go.
  5. While Skyrim 2k is obsolete, it's just a texture mod and the only reason it would cause CTDs would be your GPU running out of Vram - This should, however, be systematic and/or frequent, and woulc likely cause the system to slow down before the crashes. That is something you can monitor with the Skyrim Performance Monitor. Check if vram is saturated when the game crashes. Another cause might be that there are simply too many scripted mod for your computer to handle. You could try allocating more memory via SKSE. Other than that, looking at your load order, your ELFX modules seem weirdly placed, with Dragonborn being way higher than the Exterior and Dawnguard modules, but I'm not sure about this since I use Relighting Skyrim. Same for Water modules and armor mods, they are all over the place. If loots sorts them like this, there might be a reason though.
  6. Ah, yes. I forgot to mention this. GFE was giving me trouble a while ago, error messages but no crashes. I did delete it a while back. Here's my system, everything is up to date : i7 4770k - 4.6Ghz Asrock Z87 Killer 16GB of DDR3 RAM @2133Mhz EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Cassified 4GB 2x 120GB PNY XLR8 SSDs in Raid 0 (the game is on them). And other stuff that doesn't matter like my 1TB hard drive for other stuff and my TX750M. I'm using Windows 7 Pro, 64bits version. I am still using the latest drivers for my 770, but I've updated a few weeks ago and it was working fine. Also, thanks a lot for the quick answer.
  7. Hi. I have a rather odd problem. A day ago, I added a few textures and sounds manually in the game. Today, when I opened the game and tried to load a savegame, I crashed to desktop right before getting into the game, a bit after loading my save. I tried basic troubleshooting steps - Disabling/enabling plugins one by one, but nothing worked. I later found out that the only thing that could make the game start correctly was removing d3d9.dll from the game folder, therefore completely disabling the ENB. If I do this, the game loads. I am located in the Warmaiden's (in Whiterun) and as soon as I try to exit, I crash on loading, once again. I really don't understand what's going on. Here's my modlist : http://pastebin.com/wvffFY2Y Now, here's what I've done (but didn't work) : -Disable/enable plugins -Verify integrity of game cache, then cleaning my masters again -Try to start a new game - Crash on startup -Try to lower settings such as uGridsToLoad Here's what I didn't do : -Change anything significant about script-heavy mods between the period when the game was working and now -Change my load order between the period when the game was working and now -Change my ENB files between the period when the game was working and now I did, however, upgrade my EVGA Precision X drivers, which broke a lot of things. However, I deleted them and rolled back to the previous version, making sure everything was just as before. That's why I really can't tell what's happening right now. Thank you very much for your attention and for helping. -zGRD
  8. And if this helps, I have an EVGA GTX 770 CLassy, i7 4770k @4.5Ghz, and 16GB RAM @2133Mhz. Running the 64bits version of Windows 7 Pro and latest version of Skyrim as well.
  9. No. As long as the vram isn't saturated, having more won't improve performance (at least not by that much). 40-50 with a 780 sounds about it for realvision full and recommended mods. I'd suggest a better ENB, Realvision is one of the worst, whether it comes to looks or performance.
  10. Hi everyone, I have a little problem with my shadows in Skyrim, using Aeon ENB. Shadows that aren't affected by the ENB's "detailed shadows" setting disappear when turning the camera around. Here's an album to illustrate what I say, notice the planks's shadows on the roof and how they disappear as I turn the camera down : (imgur.com)/a/SJ49B (sorry about the crappy link but for some reason imgur won't let me share the normal link without an error, even though I made the album public...) I did a little bit of research on my side, and found that this was related to the "fShadowBiasScale" variable in SkyrimPrefs.ini, although I couldn't fix it changing it. When the variable is high (=0.6+), the bug is extremely noticeable. When it's low (=0.1-), it's less noticeable because some shadows remain compared to high settings. However, low variables introduce shadow stripping, which is less noticeable with an ENB but still causes weird character shadows. As I said, these shadows aren't affected by the ENB's detailed shadows, so disabling them keeps the shadows that cause problem. However, these shadows seem to be caused (or should I said generated/rendered) by the ENB somehow, because disabling the ENB completely makes them invisible. So, yeah. I'd love some help here  (sorry about posting here and not on the ENB forums, but whatever I post, my account gets disabled, so.. yeah.) Thanks !
  11. Hi, I've been doing a clean install lately, and my game crashes when I activate either Follower Commentary Overhaul or Extended Encounters (or both). I've used Boss and checked my load order, but no luck. Here's a pic of what it does : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/19/1399752824-crash.png It crashes right after the main menu pops up, before the text pops up on the menu image. And here is my load order : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/19/1399752823-loadorder.jpg Or in a Pastebin version : http://pastebin.com/6cZxuJBC Thanks a lot guys, hope some can help
  12. For once, I wasn't modding when a downtime happened :D
  13. Hey guys, I am running skyrim on ultra qualiti with tweaked ini files from ewi65 as well as some other tweaks for more stability. I am also running lots of mods, main ones being textures and meshes mods, as well as Realvision ENB. My PC : core i7 4770k @4.2Ghz EVGA GTX 770 classified 4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1600mhz Seagate Barracuda 1TB Corsair TX750m And the game looks like this : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/02/1389555999-ugliness.jpg So, I know this is probably not my hardware - since it's top of the line, brand new stuff. I tried using different .ini files, the problem persists I tried uninstalling all mods that touch the distant lods or textures no success It's not the ENB. So any idead ? Thanks in advance
  14. This is incredible, nmm mods are almost instantly being downloaded ! Thanks a lot :)
