  1. hmm... when you were doing the quests in order to become thane/purchase the house did you by any chance use the console commands setstage <questid> <stage#> ?
  2. theres your problem right there, you see, NMM only supports Steam Users, so if you have a Copy/retail version (like yourself) OR a pirated version of Skyrim (such as myself :s) then NMM will not work thus brings us to the conclusion that we must manually install mods. although there is an alternative to use Wyre Bash (aka BAIN) . although i personally find it annoying sometimes and find that manually installing is more convenient Banned - TVD.
  3. are you sure you installed the mod correctly? eg. all texture/meshes/scripts/ etc were installed in the data directory along with the esp. bsa. etc? or does the mod you installed require a certain mod? such as SKSE or SkyUI. since SKSE and SkyUI are often requirements in most mods. Also, do you have the latest version of skyrim?
  4. can you further describe this "constant black flickering" you've been having? because i had recently had a problem where my screen would keep constantly flashing black every few seconds while i was in-game
  5. are you using a cracked version of TESV?
  6. So this has really been bothering me a lot, when i go to a dead corpse or vampire cattle, and click on FEED, it wont show the biting animation (sometimes it does), BUT it doesnt actually show the amount of feedings or the replenishing on my bloodmeter until like 1-3mins later. to make it even worse, if im mass-feeding it doesnt do anything . NOTE THAT DURING THIS TIME, IM UNABLE TO INTERACT WITH THINGS (talking to npcs, opening doors, drawing/sheathing my weapon) Not only this, but a couple of minutes ago infact, i killed a legendary dragon, and when i went up to it to absorb its soul, the dragon didnt "turn into a skeleton" plus there was no absorbing souls as well between me and the dragon. i then went away, and a couple minutes later, the dragon soul absorbing FX and message came up. ANYONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS OR HAVE A SOLUTION? MUCH HELP IS APPRECIATED Game runs perfectly fine, got a lot of mods though but it doesnt affect my gameplay other than this problem . Im also using Better Vampires as well as a few insignificant vampire mods. x-x
  7. go to the dragon, open up your console and click on the dragon. then type in: disable it should disappear after youve done this
  8. some mods need to be put in the correct load order, otherwise it'll cause a conflict what mods did you install?
  9. As myztikrice said above, standalone armors are what youre looking for. standalone armors are usually only obtainable through crafting, which means only you, the player can use it. Unless you give it to a follower or something. try to search for armors on the nexus, most of them are replacers (they replace the vanilla skyrim meshes and textures, this means its irreversible). but some also come with a standalone version
  10. well the only way of cleaning mods that i know of is through tes5edit, usually when i get constant ctds i try to uninstall the most recent mods i installed, after that i uninstall any i dont need. but yeah, i personally try to avoid using BOSS or TES5EDIT having lots of mods can mess up your game, especially if they affect any DLCs. if its a big mod too, like HD texture mods, interesting npcs or immersive armors/weapons etc. they can sometimes cause major lag depending on your computer not sure if i can really be much of help, i mean skyrim is skyrim, youre always guaranteed to run into problems. but good luck with trying to solve it! i know how annoying it can get
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAJiUgAp-0c&feature=youtu.be this started happening yesterday, just started my game. was playing fine. i start playing again later in the afternoon and this starts to happen. ive loaded my previous saves, same thing happened. its really frustrating and i dont really want to restart and reinstall my skyrim. HELP PLZZ!
  12. this happened to me too, only for me it wasnt this bad technically, whats happened is: youve probably installed a mod which changes the vanilla clothing of the npcs (an overhaul perhaps) and then somewhere your game when all wrong, either that or you uninstalled your mod, and as a result that happens. in other words, the textures in your game became corrupt. when i had this, every single guard in my game had pink/purple boots. when i remembered that i uninstalled a guard overhaul. i couldnt fix this problem in the end, but i reinstalled my skyrim and luckily had a VERY old backup from before i installed the mod. everything was normal again, the only disappointment being i had to start again. but meh. hope i helped you somehow, good luck with it!
  13. have you properly checked your load order? often when i use BOSS or TES5edit, it changes my load order completely wrong. also, how big is your save game file?
