  1. I really was unsure where to put this type of thread.. Anyway, I've been trying to upload a new mod for a few days now, but have ran into a problem. I always time out when uploading the file. It's a 51.8mb file size and my computer isn't slow, so I really have no idea why the file never uploads and the site keeps timing out. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem and to get passed the time out issue? The mod's page is set up and ready to publish, but the mod itself will not upload. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

  3. Alright, so I figured out how to get the scripts and words to show up right. Now I just need to figure out one more thing and was hoping to get some help. It is just a house purchase quest and the only thing I have left to figure out is how to have gold taken out of the player's inventory and the house key added at the right time. Here's the dialogue options: Player: I'd like to purchase a house.. NPC Response: Of course, [house name] is available for 25,000 gold. Player: Sounds great. I'll take it. NPC: Great! Here's key to the house! (This is when I need the gold to be removed and the key added to the player's inventory, but I am unsure as to how to get it to work.) And after that last option is selected, the quest stage changes and a quest objective pops up saying, "Visit your new home, [house name]" So, all I need to know is how to have the gold removed and the key added. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb281/Syn_gaia/OutsideView_zps0d498a89.jpg

  5. Thank you for responding! Alright, so I am a complete noob at creating quests, I already planned on viewing tutorial guides on it. But to be honest, I have no idea how to do any of what you said, but I at least now have a starting point on how to do it. So thank you. :)
  6. I know one way to do it is to use photoshop and apply the warpaint directly to the skin texture.
  7. Hey guys, I need help with setting up a house purchase for a custom home. How do I go about getting an NPC to have the option to sell the custom home to the player? I've looked at the HousePurchase Quest and tried to figure out how to link it to my home, but failed. I've looked for answers all over Google, but had no luck. Really hoping someone will actually see this thread this time!
  8. Hey all, I finished a house mod and I'd like to have one of the NPCs I created with the house to sell the key. (Like the way Vanilla NPCs sell the Vanilla homes.) I know it involves scripts and the House purchase quest, but I am unsure of how to set it up so that it works with my NPC. Any help would be very much appreciated.   11. I am working on a quest and would like to know how you make certain things only available until after a quest is completed? More specifically, I want a custom vendor to only sell certain items after a quest has been completed for him. He will already be selling items, but not the special ones until after the player completes that quest. I haven't tried looking around the CK for answers yet to try and figure this out on my own, but I was hoping to get a clear answer here. --> How would I go about making it so he will start selling the special items only after a quest has been completed? Thanks~
  12. Haven Springs Ranch is a house mod that I have been working on. There are a lot of amazing mods for player homes out there, but none perfectly accent my personality. So I decided to create a home of my own. Just wanted to share some of the photos from the mod so far to get a few opinions on it. I hope some others out there will appreciate and like it as much as I do. A few facts about the mod: Name: Haven Spring Ranch Location: Near Anise's Cabin, by the river. Features: Watermill, windmill, gardens, plenty of decorations, unique items, unique furniture, mannequins, weapon racks, display cases, adoption friendly (up to 6 children), pool with waterfall, plenty of flowers, stables and farm animals, over 50 soil plots for planting(will be more later), lots of bookshelves. Will also feature a trophy room, bathing area, a larger library area, a hidden garden beneath the home and more storage. (And when it comes time for it, proper credit will be given to any resource mods used!   13. Hey guys. So, I a working on a little mod in the creation kit and I cannot figure out a couple of things involving custom merchants. I've made two custom merchants with their own store and I was wondering how do you set a time for them to lock down their stores? And how do you make all the things inside the store set to "steal" status? I've tried messing around with the AI packages, but still haven't turned up anything that works. I've set the store hours and all that, but the store remains open to everyone 24/7. Also, though I have been using AI packages, the new NPCs just don't go anywhere. They stand in one spot all day. I have one scheduled to visit a graveyard and marked it, but she never goes there. She also never goes to eat when scheduled, or sleep. I have her set to use the idle markers, but she still doesn't do anything. Any help on that too? Thanks.
