i think it is new system. So use elite proxy switcher and it has firefox addon also. You can check us proxy list and test with this program. then try out some. One will work and you can download that you want.

I theres a guy on steam uploading all the exclusive mods on this site to his private page so that theese slowdowns dont stop us from downloading mods, but his site says comming soon when i go to the link he posted on steam. he says hes working on the uploads and will be up and running asap.

I wouldn't hold my breath - My guess is he has no clue just how much server space mods can take, and how little space he gets on some free server. And how long it will take to down load, then upload hundreds of mods. No mater what mods he picks, there will be many people demanding that he get their favorites too. Then some of the free servers will choke on the bandwidth needed as well. My guess is he will crash when he gets his first 100 people trying to download at the same time ( we see well over 2000 or more at once) I expect he will be limiting downloading to just his own buddies after the crunch.

I doubt if many of the mod authors will bother to go as far as sending a DCM take down - but legally they could. And if the service he is using gets a few of those, they WILL kick him off.
