  1. I have to disagree with you. The main quest was short, granted but there was enough content to last maybe 30 hours for me. I thought "wait what? that's it?", after killing Miraak and saving Raven Rock but there was still a lot to do after, digging up Ahzidal (loved these quests) was a lot of fun and rewarding, finding all the black books, clearing the dwarven ruins, running errands for Neloth. Since I never played Morrowind and only watched a few Youtube videos about it, I can't say it was nostalgia either. Only downsides I could find, but these are mostly personal preferences, were -No big, long MQ and instead a lot of smaller quest chains. -Forced to become Herma Moras servant. I didn't like being forced into Nocturnals service if I wanted to complete the thieves guild chain and I liked it even less. There should have been an option to kill Miraak without Moras help -Players actions didn't really matter, no one treated you differently -All the settlements felt really small.. like 4-5 houses on the side of the road. It's the same with Skyrim though so it has nothing to do with this DLC.
  2. Took the last test and I'm a true neutral human cleric? I tried to answer as honestly as I could, wouldn't disagree with true neutral (although most of the answers were on the selfish side:P) but cleric? I always picked the science choices over religious ones and answered negatively to the charity ones so don't really see how I got cleric..
  3. I'm using the Climates of Tamriel mod and have a problem when using the arrows to make the sun black. It works and the sun goes black but it only lasts for about an hour (in game), then the sun goes back to normal. NPCs still react like it is dark and I don't get the negative effects as a vampire when outside during the day. Can anyone confirm it's actually CoT that does this? Since I'm not using any other weather mods, I assume it's CoT. Also does anyone know how to fix it short of uninstalling the mod?
  4. I had the same thing in Labyrinthian and then in Morthal and in some ruin with the ghost adventurers. Each time there were ghosts. In Morthal, the little girl ghost, in Labyrinthian the wizards and the ghost draugr and in the ruin adventurer ghosts. The problem went away after either killing the ghosts or solving their quest. Im sure it's either Dragonborn or SkyRe aswell. Never had this problem before and I haven't installed any mods except SkyRe updates and Dragonborn since.
  5. I doubt it has anything to do with my computer. I2500k, GTX 690, 8GB ram, SSD. And yes, I don't have anything on the background running other than Fraps (to show fps, not recording). Haven't disabled autosaves, do they slow down the game when not actually autosaving? And yea, autoupdates disabled, Steam offline. Besides. it's not memory or even normal lag, FPS stays at 60 or 120-140 with vsync off. A good example would be picking a torch from a wall. The torch disappears right away, then after a few seconds I hear the sound and the light disappears. And disabling vsync is really bad lol. I have it disabled from skyrimprefs.ini anyway as it does no good there and keeps it at 120 not 60 and set to half monitor refresh rate in Nvidia menu. But I've also tried setting the monitor to 60hz, another 60hz monitor and both disabling vsync in Skyrim settings and enabling it in Nvidia ones and vice versa. The problem does disappear with vsync completely off but over 60 fps causes flying mammoths and the physics go crazy plus it gets kinda spiky in some places.
  6. This is actually getting really annoying. When I pick nirnroot, catch butterflies, trigger traps etc. the effects happen a few seconds after they should. For example when picking nirnroot or mining, the sound is delayed a few seconds, and the plant or the veins don't disappear, then I get the sound a few seconds after as well as the effect. It only happens when limiting framerate though. I tried doing it in Nvidia settings, monitor at 120hz and setting it to half adaptive framerate, tried setting monitor to 60hz and then using Skyrim settings, even tried with a 60hz monitor. And not limiting it causes even more problems, flickering water, flying mammoths and clutter flying around indoors. Any suggestions? Oh and I already use SKSE.
  7. Dark elves and to a slightly lesser extent high elves. It's mostly because of how they look and behave and not their culture. I play a nord though because I am a nord IRL:P
  8. Is there a way to restore it to the original state somehow? Only the interior, I mean. I have hundreds of mods installed that change various things and I've spent over 50 hours to get them to work without errors and crashes so its a very delicate balance lol. Besides, even if I found the mod that did it, I'd rather keep it if possible as I don't have any that change just one building. They add buildings and slight changes to most cities and villages. The problem is that one of the mods changes the interior and in doing so breaks some of the NPCs walk paths (they walk into the walls and beds and dont do some of the things they're supposed to). Also I've already looked under meshes and there isn't anything named old hroldan there
  9. Yea, the wood elves are basically tree hugging carnivores so they are perfect for that. Although the frostfall mod adds tree cutting, I think.. not sure how a wood elf would feel about doing that:P A nord would also fit, I guess, being native and used to the cold and all.. besides, you'd get 50% frost res which is really useful with Frostfall.
  10. Always 1st person when possible. It actually bothers me a bit that mining and chopping wood and kill moves take me out of 1st person. I wish they make it an option to just lock into 1st person mode in TES 6 but maybe let you see more of your body or add mirrors. It's the only downside of 1st person currently cause it doesn't really matter what you wear other than gloves.. you can't see it anyway.
