I make icons for Fallout NV and FO3. So I doubt anyone really cares for that because its mostly a skyrim issue. But I've always gave a wide range "use whatever icon you like of mine for whatever" with the covet of "as long as whatever you're using it for is also free" And that's been long before this was a concern, back when russian modding sites were stealing mods from nexus back in the day. Seems something I learned from back then will help me now.

Basically I've estimated the area from Dead Crone Rock to Serpent's Bluff Redoubt to Cradle Stone Tower is unable to be fast traveled to. Trying to enter this bremuda triangle of sorts on foot has proven fruitless as well, once you enter the "point of no return" as denoted by these red marks in the images below, I have about a minute at best before CTD, and any save made during that time will CTD on load. Same with fast travel, it'll load, then instantly CTD. No errors, just process kill. When the front page is no longer SFW! Seriously I don't understand why you would hide NSFW images behind a paywall to keep the nexus SFW on the front end just to have a mod that adds posters with tits make it to hotfiles, defeating its purpose completely.

Well you have to consider that the quakecon sale also happened very recently. For 24 hours most of the TES games were up to 75% off. So compound with the previous summer sale and the fact that anyone who may have missed out (probably a crapload if these issues are any indication) then everyone and their mom got all of them in the quakecon sale. So I feel like this is why people are still hankering down and beating the crap out of the download servers.

The best way to avoid getting banned from a file page is to not participate in any discussion at all with anyone. Just don't talk to people. Anyone. Its actually the best way to avoid getting banned at all, is to not participate in the community aspect at all. Takes the banning risk to absolute zero percent. I know a lot of mod authors say they like constructive criticism, but its going to get you banned. Just get your files, and keep it to yourself. Unless you like the mod, unless you can't find a single flaw, keep it to yourself. Its a risk you cannot take if you want to enjoy the service the nexus provides.

Right, so, hey, thanks for letting me know that there is a significant detectable difference in normal huge traffic increase and DDoS attacks. I'm not even going to touch what god damn political ideology the nexus holds.

Again, I want to ask; Are you sure its a DDoS attack that's affecting traffic? I mean, is there a way to tell a difference between that, and tens of thousands of people buying games during the Steam Summer Sales and wanting mods for them? Almost every game Nexus currently supports has gone on sale once, sometimes multiple times. If there's a way to tell the difference between the two I'd be interested to hear it, if not, I'd say the latter is far more likely.

You guys sure this isn't just increased traffic due to the Summer Sales? Every major Nexus Supported game has gone on sale at least once so far.

I honestly wouldn't care if it had the spiked/brass knuckle anims as long as they the ballistic fists go boom, the displacer gloves displace, etc. I don't even care if it was WMX compatible.
