Even after completely deleting the entire steam folder with the Windows 8 Programs and Features control panel, wiping the remains with manual deletion and Killbox, and reinstalling Steam, Skyrim, BOSS, TESVEdit, and NMM from scratch, very carefully following all instructions and disabling automatic STEAM updates and beta sign-ups and all the usual s***, I still get this when I tried to install SkyUI. I installed SKSE using the automatic installer on the SKSE silverlock website. I also modified Skyrim with this; 1)Download SKSE 2)Put the DLLs and EXE files in the Skyrim folder 3)Put the PEX files from Data\Scripts in Skyrim\Data\Scripts REMEMBER: If you don't have a Scripts folder, create one. Make a backup before renaming the TESV exe .. 4)In the Skyrim folder rename "TESV" to "Skyrim" 5)Rename "skse_loader" to "TESV" 6)In the data folder make a new folder called "SKSE" 7)Copy the text in the description into notepad 8)Save it in Data\SKSE as "skse.ini" as type "All Files" 9)You can now use Steam or your normal desktop icon to run SKSE I'm fairly certain that if I do a total hard wipe and reboot of the potential problem areas, the fact that this keeps popping up means that there is a problem on skse's end. I'm attempting to play my now heavily modified version of Skyrim, and I'm having some issues with the Paradise Halls and Convenient Horse Herding mods. Paradise Halls tells me to launch the game from the SKSE launcher, but every time I try, I get this; "Please update to the latest version of Skyrim". I already did. "You have customized the runtime name via SKSE's .ini file. Version errors can usually be fixed by removing the RuntimeName line from the .ini file." What is this, and how do I fix it? Convenient Horse Herding shows me this message; "Skyrim Script Extender not found or too old. Convenient Horse Herding will be disabled." I just updated SKSE a few minutes before I started this topic, so not sure what the f*** is going on. And yes, I did copy every single Scripts file into my Skyrim scripts file. I'm not very tech savvy, so I kind of need specific instructions. After I downloaded the Better Vampires mod with NMM, maximum updates of skyrim and SKSE, and no DLC, my game keeps crashing on startup. I have a bunch of glitched out stupid little shadows on my character and I want to know how to get rid of them. Basically, I want to know if there is a way to change my hairstyle w/o using showracemenu. Using that command seems to reset my skills.

Alright, fine, I get the idea. Look, I just completely re-did all of my mods, with NMM (was doing manual install before). Haven't tried it yet, but before I do, I want someone to tell me what the XML files are supposed to do.

My Tower add-on is the most recent version-I downloaded it a couple days ago.

I've modded my game pretty heavily, and now it won't let me use followers. I talk to them, tell them to follow me, they say yes, and then keep walking around like nothing happened. How do I fix this?
