  1. are there any mods LIKE these mods that do similar things? i know that there are overhauls for oblivion that changes the difficulty somewhat and rebalances weapons and spawnpoints and spawn times and stuff like that. but are there any mods that adds more to it like SkyRE would changing up the "perk" system for oblivion for instance. as much as i appreciate the bonuses you get from skills being leveled up i'd much rather get to choose what kind of bonuses i get from it. and as for the other one lootification are there any mods that takes the weapon and armor mods you have installed and shoves them into the leveled list so you can possibly find them on NPC"s and such. as much as i love my custom weapons and armors it gets boring not seeing anyone else having them randomly and it definitely makes it far too easy to get gold because there are certain armors i'd only use for certain types of characters and more often than not i'd end up selling off the armors and weapons from the chests they come in (if they're worth anything usually are) in turn getting me like.....at level one starting me off with like 10k gold >w<;; if a mod like this exists for oblivion please point me in the right direction if not is there any way to MAKE it? the way i see it as annoying as it becomes to constantly use the skyproc patchers every time i install or uninstall a mod it definitely adds more to the world of skyrim changing where and who i might find these kind of things on who or what at what time. and SkyRE definitely makes skyrim more interesting on the whole most definitely. i'd like to see new life get breathed into my oblivion game like that ;w;
  2. ok so heres the thing. i have many mods installed around 244 ESP/ESM plugins to be exact so i'm pretty sure its possible if not definitely caused by conflict between them HOWEVER this doesn't happen anywhere else except for riverwood at the moment as far as i can tell. basically this is what happened. when i first encoutered the freezing it was when i was entering the inn in Riverwood. kept freezing up and choking when trying to enter it. so i figured OK i'll just deactivate a specific mod. this mod in question adds around 600 or so NPC"s to the game for marriage options. i figured okay it just can't handle loading up the numerous other NPC's added by this mod into the inn maybe? so i deactivated it and voila i was able to enter the inn....i saved my game AS SOON AS I ENTERED THE INN. spent like....1 hour to maybe an hour and a half in that inn saved my game a second time before exiting the inn. closed the game out and reactivated the mod and loaded my game back up and left the inn...now the game is freezing when i exit the inn. i figured it must be the mods doing again...WRONG i deactivated it a second time to make sure and it still froze! after much thinking i thought OH i'll just COC to the Riverwood Trader it's not too far away so it's not like i'm teleporting across the world (i hate using coc codes...makes me feel like im cheating) so i used it to get into the riverwood trader and saved my game yet again then left and it still froze!!! so to test my theory out i once again COC'd to riverwood.....it froze....coc'd to Whiterun and NO freeze in fact it loaded with in seconds. then i ran to riverwood as i did prior to all this. it wasn't freezing when i first entered riverwood so i thought maybe if i re-run to riverwood it'll be fixed. ran up to where the bridge to riverwood is and saved my game. crossed the bridge and entered riverwood and FREEZE!!! =w=;; riverwood itself is freezing my game? At first it was just the inns! now its riverwood itself?..... any idea on what to do here or what could be causing it? any fixes? anything at all! ;w; i'd rather not loose the 10+ hours i put into my character already....
  3. ok so i see a mod i want to install...there are no older mods with NMM support yet so i'm forced to download manually yet when i click on any download links the page im on freezes. it doesn't let me click on anything else at all. when i reload the page the links become clickable again but it continues to happen no matter which mod im downloading. i thought it might have been the SIZE of the mod i was trying to download as i was downloading an overhaul but when i tried to download better bodies which is like 5k kb? it still froze! i can't download any mods manually! any clue on what to do? i tried using multiple browsers to see if it changes the situation but nothing has changed.
  4. ;w; noooooooooooooo that makes me so sad! whats really stupid about it all is that while they are mod tolerant they have a whole project section up on their own website! why would they approve of modding yet limit the mod developers to such a degree by giving so little information? ;w;
  5. is there really no way they'll give support to a game they already have support for on the website? C'mon we need NMM support for dragonage origins otherwise installing these mods and managing them will just remain a nuisance! >w<
  6. and i have a question about that whole not supported thing...WHY isn't it supported? im a bit weirded out by this whole "we hate LL" stuff cuz thats the attitude im feeling form the nexus and i wasn't getting that vibe long ago back when it was just Tesnexus.
  7. oh no no i know i won't find any specifically made FOR that mod but i thought maybe someone here on the nexus made armor for a feminine male character in a crossdressing like idea at the very least. maybe the nexus is the wrong place to go to find open minded people in that area? ;w; considering that one of the most popular mods on the nexus in GENERAL is "animated prostitution" for skyrim i'd say crossdressing and femboys and all that stuff should be a bit normal here but i guess NOT.
  8. anyone here on the nexus know of any armors or clothes that would fit the MALE children of skyrim body type? anything will make me happy at this point because apparently no one thinks a skyrim boy can be feminine.....it kinda annoys me really.
  9. THAT's what i figured Ishara but does the lack of dependency for a mod that once had dependency effect how that mod works once it looses the requirement of that DLC?
  10. no? dependencies arent meant to be a backdoor for those who don't own the official dlc...what does that even mean? or am i misreading that statement entirely? because honestly it made no sense to me =w=;;
  11. no i totally understand all of that dwiss what im asking is what happens to the NPCs and such involved with in a certain mod that once required DLC now no longer requires it. will the NPC's be effected by that change? like i mentioned before the multiple marriages mod i was looking at took away dependency to hearthfire but what if one of your spouses were in a house with hearthfire elements will they just IGNORE those elements as if they weren't there or will they still interact with them knowing that the mod doesn't depend on it but will see it as an option? like for instance...let's say that someone made a follower mod that once required hearthfire as the AI script had it so that it could access hearthfire's content in general. then they took away the dependency but left the script as is. will that follower that once required the DLC then still interact or even be given access to the DLC itself where the script says it could? or would it just flat out IGNORE it even though it should be able to.
  12. i'm not a mod maker myself but i was looking at different mods and how some of their developers decided to take away certain DLC dependency like hearthfire and such. my question is does that mean that when you take away DLC depenency the NPC's related to such mods won't interact with parts of those DLC's? like i was downloading the multiple marriages mod and it says they took away hearthfire dependency. so if your house happens to have hearthfire elements will your spouse no longer interact with THOSE elements or does it just mean strictly that they don't need those elements currently there for the mod to work. does dependency on DLC allow mods to interact with those DLC or prevent them with the lack of depenendency on them? its just something i started thinking about and felt i should ask the community and see if someone can come up with an answer.
  13. ....im not looking for a furry marriagable follower....im looking for a femboy race.....thats what this thread is about.....femboys....
  14. oh and i'd like to point out the oddity of this thread...it has well over 1k views with only 8 replies yet mods with little to no views have 3-4X the amount of replies? blasphemy i say!
  15. <snip> Next time please report inappropriate comments instead of posting a rant about them. Thank you. -LM personally i wish to see this mod come to be I just posted on the *site not allowed* thread you created " AngelicSnowFox" that IS you right? lol (why you choose a different name for the nexus who knows its your own reason obviously) but regardless i support this mod idea as i too want it made!
  16. you COULD just use the export/import load order option which essentially is a save file containing your currently activated ESP/ESM files in their specific order so if you export one load order then change the load order and import that previously saved load order it would revert back to the previous load order before you changed it.
  17. ok so i was playing skies of arcadia for like....the millionth time and i was just thinking....why can't someone create a player home similar to crescent isle from skies of arcadia? it's a small island floating in the sky (in this case it doesn't have to be it can just be an island in the middle of a lake to make it more believable) but really all it is is a player base you set up a small shop inside of it get materials to build up your base put in a dock, basically this player base would be similar to Build your own home mod but it'll be more of a buildable village like real time settler but instead of it being real time settler where you pick out models and stuff you do it like you do in buildable home where you get specific materials for specific pieces of specific types of buildings and they are placed in specific spots for that mod and you can deactivate them if you wish or not but basically this is what i want! location is KEY so i figured it could be placed in the middle of Lake Klinalth? is it big enough to fit a small village of 3-4 small homes on an island and a mine? Buildable HOMES not one but multiple one home per 2-3 followers. this mod of course should be compatible with "my home is your home" the player base will have its own small mine (built into the ground of the island itself instead of a cave like entrance it could be a starewell down into the mine) with respawnable ore (takes 4 days to respawn so its not too over powered sort of speak) this mine will be where you get your ore required for the player base obviously but it also is a place for your villagers to gather materials via scripted commands. so like you walk up to one of your followers and tell them something like "we need iron ore go mine some for me please" and that specific NPC/follower will remain in the mines for a set number of hours/days of your choice gathering ore of a specific type also your choice with a chance of getting OTHER types of ore on the side. the mine should be upgradable and to get into the mine itself there should be a small quest to "dig" the beginning part of the mine and every time you perform certain tasks and obtain certain items over a certain ammount of time maybe the mine can be expanded upon AND EVERY UPGRADE WILL ALLOW MORE NPC'S TO USE THE MINE! YES i want a limit to how many npc's can actually enter and mine for you thus making it more balanced! a buildable Dock for a ship used to travel to certain cities like solitude's dock and dawnstar and so on. and much like other mods with a ship like this the ship will move to that location HOWEVER if its not too big of a thing i'd like the ship to physically move like the dragons do so you can watch your ship travel from dock to dock giving you more immersion into the game. the player can also set up a shop with in the village that does trade with other cities so the goods you find in the shop will be different and cycle through numerous items from all over the world (if possible incorporate the lootification mod so itll also bring in items randomly from installed mods in your game though the chances of THAT will be far less than vanilla items) 90% chance of vanilla items 75% chance to find a rare/enchanted item 65% chance to find mod related items though these numbers can be tweeked and balanced by the mod creator this player base will also have a chance of being attacked by dragons and other monsters/swarms and so on as it should be put into the worldspace of skyrim itself just the homes will have their own cells and the mine and stuff like that. i'm not quite sure what else to put in here for ideas but if anyone feels they are interested in taking on this kind of mod let me know and ill give you as much support as i can though i'm not good at modding myself i fail at it honestly....kinda ironic because i'm getting ready to go away to school for game design huh!? lmao OH and if anyone willing to take on this mod doesn't actually know about skies of arcadia or crescent isle itself heres a wiki page related to it! http://skiesofarcadia.wikia.com/wiki/Crescent_Isle though like i said i dont paticularly want it floating in the sky because even in skyrims world that seems a bit unrealistic for my taste!
  18. well then name it Dovahkiins' Perch simple name but functional name at the same time :3
  19. yeah that seems more appropriate then i guess hmmm what to name it then? Tower of the gate? Dragonborn Watchtower? Dovakiin Stakeout? Dovakiin Perch? :P
  20. aaaah well if you want like i said you could use an already built tower from the game as a base and build upon that to make it feel more unique it sup to you about how you go about it. so long as it feels unique to the city of solitude while at the same time feeling like it fits there ill be happy. oh and about something we haven't even discussed! A NAME FOR THE TOWER! i always think that a home owned by the dovakiin should have some kinda name that signifies its epicness even if the home itself isn't at all EPIC. but in this case i guess it should be more simple of a name?
  21. mmm well i kinda DID want something unique to the city of solitude but for a base you could take an already built tower yes but honestly i can't think of anything unique to use as a mesh for the walls inside lol. i was thinking wood but i dont think that would fit because the outside is stone and i dont think they had such a thing as wood paneling in that time (if we're basing it off of a real time period it would be medieval or even the dark ages)
  22. oh sweet so then you could do it!? uhm no it doesn't have an inside because there is no way up to that part above the stairwell leading to that spot. ok when you first walk into solitude where you witness the beheading you go to your right towards the stage and theres a little door that leads up to the walk way on the wall. i BELIEVE that spot is after you walk up you walk through it to continue around the walkway but that spot doesn't have anything above the stairway other than that tower nothing inside it no room no nothing. also i was hoping you could turn the top of it into a pointed tower so that it has a bit more space so yeah you would have to redo the meshes and textures a bit anyway to give it that small expansion lol and hey this is a bit out of the way but why not make that part an upgrade like a buyable expansion that physically changes the tower after it's purchased. OH AND YES I WANT THE HOUSE TO BE PURCHASABLE. as much as i love free homes they tend to make the world feel a bit.....too easy to get what you want.....like the mod "a summer home" its a great looking house but it comes with too much free crap its almost a cheat mod in of itself you know? yo u don't gotta work for anything in it.
  23. i actually found a better location for the small house mod i want made its just at the main gates to solitude heres a screenie or two of the spot and i was thinking it could be turned into a pointed tower with an entrance to the lower near the stairs under neath where the walkway is on the wall something simple i dont quite care of the overall design of the place but the things inside i'd like to be specific for instance i'd like the home itself to be in the worldspace of solitude but the entrance to be only usable by me if that's at all possible. i'd also like there to be some windows so i can look out at the city watch npc's and stuff it seems like the perfect sniping spot honestly lol but heres the basicly the features i'd like 1 bed 1 anvil 1 tanning rack 1 chest 1 mini smelter similar to the one in the havenbag mod 1 wardrobe 1 manniquin open windows to the world space of solitude player exclusive access to the home a very minimalistic home nothing too extravagant. the design and location of everything is up to the person making the mod i won't fret on those details. and the idea behind player exclusivity to the home i was thinking making it so that you load into a small stairwell up to the home then load back into the world space of solitude? would that prevent NPC's from entering the home? or do i just not have to worry about that kinda stuff? honestly i've never seen random npc's wandering into player homes before so i guess it shouldn't be a problem lol
  24. theres a small tower that seems like there could be something inside it because it has windows and the area below it seems a bit flushed like as if there should be something there but theres no entrance to this specific spot as far as i can tell. unless im just bad with direction or something and i believe it would give me a nice view of the city so i was hoping someone could make it into a small player home for me? nothing EXTRAVAGANT but you know it should have a small bed, some storage and MAYBE a tanning rack and anvil other than that i dont need much in it just a place to hide out in when im avoiding bounty hunters and such. the location im talking about is below in the screenies i uploaded.
  25. ZOMG people stop calling this download an "update" an update leads you to assume they changed something from the vanilla game but they didn't change anything all they did was make high-res textures for high end computers. its not an UPDATE its optional textures. if this download changed the way the dragons behaved or changed anything about the game other than a visual boost then sure i'd say this is an update but it doesn't change the games version number, and it doesn't change gameplay in any way shape or form. its not an UPDATE because updates are required by law practially to play the dam game because UPDATES contain bug fixes and issue resolutions and possibly small ammounts of new content but this doesn't do any of those things at all. it doesn't add new content, it doesn't fix issues with the current version of the game or bugs. so its not an update. in short. updates replace older versions of the files. THIS DOWNLOAD DOESN'T DO THAT!!!!
